I'm a first time Yelper and wanted to get the good word out on Dr. Najafi and his fine staff. Dr. Najafi was recommended to me for root canal surgery by my primary dentist. My symptoms literally came on overnight, and the tooth pain I was experiencing was like nothing I have ever felt before. I immediately went in to Dr. Najafi's office for an examination and x-rays. The staff was professional and courteous, and Dr. Najafi fully explained the procedure. Dr. Najafi prescribed a round of antibiotics and pain medication for me and the staff scheduled my procedure. When I returned days later for the root canal procedure, the staff welcomed me with professionalism and care and had me in the chair in no time (And, I was a half hour early). Dr. Najafi came in shortly and greeted me and once again explained the procedure. He then gave me multiple rounds of local anesthesia. He was incredibly gentle and continuously communicated with me to make sure I felt no pain. During the complete round of shots and the entire procedure, I felt absolutely no pain! I mean Zero. In fact, I felt so good after the tooth was numb, I thought about leaving... (kidding). My root canal procedure went very smoothly and efficiently. I was kept comfortable the entire time and was always asked how I was doing. During the procedure, I just always felt like I was in very competent and capable hands. It wasn't long before Dr. Najafi and his assistant were finishing me up. I schedule my checkup appointment for a week later, and left the office completely satisfied (Actually, I was overjoyed by the pain relief I had and how good my bite and jaw felt). Hours later, the anesthesia wore off, and to my delight, I was pain free! I could drink hot and cold liquids and could chew without discomfort. All has been going very well since the procedure. Dr. Najafi recently preformed two root canals on my mouth. I had a great deal of anxiety going into the procedures, as I am somewhat dental phobic and have never had a root canal before. Before my appointment, his office staff was amazingly helpful with helping me get the approvals pushed through my insurance company. Time was of the essence and they really went to bat for me. When I arrived at my appointment, I was pleased to see that Dr. Najafi's office was nice, and very clean. His office staff answered all of my questions and helped me feel more at ease. When Dr. Najafi was working on my mouth he gave me the time I needed for a break during x-rays, and asked me throughout the procedure how I was doing. I was in no pain while he was working, and only minimal pain when the anesthesia wore off. I had some tenderness the next day, but considering how much work I had to have done, I was surprised at how good I felt. Dr. Najafi has been doing root canals since 1979, so I guess after all of these years he would be an expert, and it shows. I am grateful that my dentist referred me to such a competent specialist. If you need a root canal, I would highly recommend Dr. Najafi and his staff. They made an unfortunate situation much more bearable. read more

I must honestly say this doctor is absolutely the best. He will do a root canal pain free... this doctor is so gentle you cannot even feel the needle when he gives you the local anesthesia. Throughout the whole procedure he's always making sure that you're comfortable. He has done two other root canals for me in the past and he does impeccable work. I have read some of the other reviews and in regards to their billing practices and I think that people don't understand the insurance company's don't always pay the entire Bill and then of course the patient will be billed for the difference. I was referred to Dr. Najafi by my dentist Dr. Posso who was only a couple blocks away.. I was in lots of pain and couldn't eat on the left side. They were able to get me in right away. He gave me an antibiotic which helped control the pain and infection. The girls at the desk were very helpful. As it turned out, I had had a root canal and crown on this tooth many years ago. Dr. Najafi was able to drill through the crown and remove the decay. He gave me Novocain so it was painless. Margaret had to call my insurance company which took quite a while. It was declined because it was a re-root canal. The girls were very helpful and I was very happy with the entire staff. I would highly recommend him. read more

I had my root canal done by Dr. Najafi. I was and am very impressed by the great quality of service I received. From the receptionists to the assistants everyone treated me with much respect and care. Dr. Najafi was very friendly and the root canal was painless, he took the time to make sure my mouth was numbed correctly so that I felt no pain whatsoever. I was referred to Dr. Najafi by my primary dentist because i needed a root canal. Joy. However, Dr. Najafi was really good. He doesn't talk a lot but he explained what he was doing every step of the way. As soon as he started the injection to numb me the pain went away and I was a happy camper. The whole procedure took about an hour and a half and he had me come back in a week to make sure that all was well. He was a little more talkative on the second visit and there was no problem at all with my insurance. My husband went to Dr. Najafi as well and neither of us had any problems. I was referred to Dr. Najafi to redo my root canal. I'm very anxious to go to anyone in the dental field, but this Dr. made me feel very calm by letting me know he will be gentle. Those words were gold! He is patient and very professional. He asked how I was doing during the procedure which is, in my opinion, very reassuring. I truly was impressed with his work. He is a perfectionist. I'm thrilled his office took my insurance. Hello I had a root canal done at a general dentist office back in 2014 and it started to hurt me for a few days. I went to Dr. Najafi to see what was going on with it, he explained to me step by step what had happened. He also explained the procedure to me. When Dr. Najafi was doing the numbing with the injection, I seriously did not feel anything what so ever. I thought i was going to feel pain but nope not at all, not with the injection or while the treatment. While he was working on my tooth, he made me feel comfortable by telling me how I was doing. Dr.Najafi and front office staff were very kind and professional. I was tramatized as a child of the dentist, hence needing root canals . I have had one before at a different office and i walked out in tears from the unbearable pain . Dr. Najafi made me feel completely comfortable and pain free . this place is great! wonderful front desk staff, clean office and super great endodontist! been here for my 2 root canals and every time i have been here the dr. has been kind, gentle and understanding. margaret who works at the front desk even went out of her way to help me try to get an auth from my dentist who was not helpful but just her trying was great. i recommend this office for all your root canals! oh and by the way i called the dr after hours and he called me back quickly and didn't hesitate to help me even after the office had closed and it was a friday evening! read more

Honestly the best experience I've had. Dr. Najafi was sooo good when it came to numbing me and waiting until I was comfortable. I had a difficult root canal so I was referred to him by my regular dentist. He makes sure by taking X-rays before and after the procedure that his work is done well. Dr. Najafi should be called Dr. Painless. He was also frequently checking during my root canal procedure to make sure I was comfortable as to the pain and/or jaw discomfort. He was patient, professional, and caring during a difficult procedure that ran much longer than normal due to a 'narrow canal'. His staff is friendly and efficient.
