Dr. Yamamoto was excellent! He made sure I was comfortable and was very informative and efficient. I was in and out of there quickly, but it didn't feel rushed at all, plus I didn't experience any pain. His assistant and he were just on their A-game and worked well together. Icing on the cake: the office coordinator/manager up front was so polite and helpful. I had gone to another office in Oxnard for a root canal consult a month prior, and the experience from the front to back office at each place was night and day. I'm going into to have my root canal finished by Dr Laura Lazarou this morning August 17th 2022. She started it on Thursday July 28th 2022 & I thought she was very kind & thoroughly explained what she was going to do as she showed me my X-rays & then proceeded when finished they then scheduled me to come back & finish it on August 24th but on the following Monday they called me & said they had a cancellation which opened up the 17th which is today this morning at 8:00 AM. I must say that the pain from the root canal was the worst pain I've ever had with any of the 2-3 other root canals I've had, I mean my gums were so swollen & the inside of my mouth was involved in pain. I'm not quite sure as to why I had all of this tremendous unbearable pain but I'm going to ask Dr Lazarou when I get to my appointment this morning. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars, I easily would. I was referred by a family friend to come see Dr. Yamamoto for a root canal on my back molar which had been bugging me for quite some time leaving me unable to chew on both sides of my mouth. shame on me... First, the front office staff is so friendly and was very knowledgeable and helpful to all of my questions and was very transparent about my options. Second, I live over an hour away, but Dr. Yamamoto came so highly recommended I honestly didn't mind driving that far in order to come here! He was very informative and GENTLE and made sure that I was never in any pain or discomfort, which is extremely important because I have very sensitive teeth. They have high-tech equipment to take X-rays, which if you've ever taken dental xrays, they're usually uncomfortable and for me, I have a small jaw so its very troublesome to take these annoying but necessary images. Before I knew it, my appointment was over. After he was done, he informed me of after care and made sure I didn't have any further questions before I left. I was a little sore on that side of my jaw the next day, but I was prepared and that was nothing compared to the pain I had been dealing with. This was a very pleasant dental experience and would highly recommend this office and Dr. Yamamoto to anyone in need of root canal care! I hope I never have to come back because that means I need another root canal, but I know that it would be handled with professionalism and care! I truly appreciate the work of this team but today I was not impressed with the manner the doctor expressed his concern for my oral care. He was very rude and showed no empathy for what might be the reasons for the delay in return. Life happens to a lot of us and I am no different. On my way to his office an over a month ago I was running late notified them and as I hung up the phone was rear ended and had to cancel. The I rescheduled to then have to cancel due to COVID and between these 2 attempts to be seen I had a mild heart attack. So I won't be made to feel as if his time isn't valuable I know it is but my priorities and circumstances were not my tooth. Maybe learn to demonstrate empathy and express your concern about my oral care like you did the first time you saw me and not reprimand me like a child and then work on me with that frustration because I felt it in how you worked on me today and I didn't appreciate that. Going to finish my care hit might not return or recommend after that. read more

After being referred to this clinic, the first appointment was fine. The second one resulted in equipment not working, being moved from chair to chair, and when they used bleach to sanitize the root they got the bleach all over my clothes and destroyed my shirt. I have worked with other endodontist and a periodontist, but never saw anything like this. read more

Thank you Dr.K! Let me start off by saying I was very nervous when I found out I needed a root canal. Of course many people like to tell you about their bad experiences getting a root canal. Needless to say I was nervous the whole week before my procedure. Once I arrived for my appointment Dr. K was very calm and reassuring. The whole thing was done in a little over an hour and I had no pain! My cheek was slightly sore the next day but, no other pain. It's nice to be able to drink cold drinks again without immense pain. I would have had the root canal sooner had I known how painless and easy it would be! read more

I went to the dentist this morning with a bad toothache. They referred me to this office for a root canal. They were able to take me the same day and within 2 hours, I had my root canal finished and was back to work. Dr. K was great as was Ruby. They were both very pleasant and skillful. I felt no pain at all. Dr K. even came up with a solution to an issue I was having with the dam. No one wants to have a root canal but they made the experience as pleasant as possible! I'm not kidding when I say I'm the biggest wimp in the world when it comes to dental work. So I was pretty upset when I went to my dentist with a nasty toothache and he told me I might need a root canal!! I was referred to Camarillo Endodontists and saw Dr. Grigorian the same day. He did a thorough exam and let me know of my options to help with this toothache. I scheduled a root canal with him and he assured me that the procedure would be painless but I was skeptical. I returned a few days later for my root canal and I literally did not feel a thing. I had my headphones on and he had me out of there in less than an hour!! I felt no pain and felt no discomfort. He was extremely gentle - there was no pushing my head around or forceful movements. This root canal was actually less painful than a cleaning. I would recommend Dr. Grigorian to anyone! read more

I am extremely anxious when I have any dental procedure. I was recommended to Dr. Jue and he was excellent! He took the time to discuss my concerns and was direct with what needed done. I had to have two procedures and both went very easy by my standards. He was efficient and made the unpleasant experience of a root canal go pretty seamlessly! His staff is very kind, especially Shantel. I am not one to leave many yelp reviews, but this office and staff deserve the 5 stars. Just left this place and for someone who severely dislikes the dentist I almost fell asleep while getting a root canal. Dr.Grigorian did the work. Very professional and pleasant. He explained the procedure as he went. His assistant Ruby was gem. They were very aware of my comfort level at all times to the point that I think I actually fell asleep. I have had 4 root canals done since 2008. And Dr. Grigorian is the best doctor to do this procedure! I have been to two other endodontic doctors, (because of referrals from my dentist) and found out how horrible other doctors are... I highly recommend Dr. Grigorian, he is very thorough, tells you exactly what he is doing, takes time to talk with you, and is not in a rush. I told my dentist I would not go to any other doctor of endodontics, and insisted I go to Camarillo Endodontics... I just can not say how happy I am to return to his office for this procedure. I wish i had the option to give it zero stars. I was sent here by a referral for a root canal and i was quoted a price that i thought was a little high. I mentioned this to them and they told me this is the going rate. I called my medical plan and they informed that the dentist is out of my network. I guess they dont have to disclose that. (obama you should look into this). I decided to leave after just a friendly hand shake from the client. Two weeks later i was sent a bill for $150, which i my medical plan didnt want to pay. I looked at service charge and it said consultation. There was no consultation. It was a $150 handshake. I complained. They did nothing. I got pissed. They sent to collections. I got screwed. Oh well. I wish i could shut this place down or report to Better Business Bureau, but i have to work and dont have time. I can complain on yelp though. and i am grateful for that. read more

I wanted to let you all know how pleased I was with Camarillo Endodontics. I had to have an emergent root canal and was grateful that they were able to accommodate me on such a quick and short notice. I was a little timid going to a different endodontist that was unfamiliar to me. But to my pleasant surprise, I was extremely satisfied with the professional service they provided. Dr. Grigorian was amazing. He was so gentle and knew just by my slight cues that I may be needing more numbing meds. I never had to say anything or ask, he just knew.
