I love my smile!!! Thanks so much Dr. Stout!!
Chantal F.

I am extremely happy with my beautiful dental implants and this isn't even the final set!!! Dr. Stout has the best bedside manner of any surgeon I have ever had the experience of utilizing and I highly recommend him for any procedure you may need as he is a true perfectionist and will work hard to ensure you are happy with the results. I would rather spend the extra for implants than to ever have to deal with another uncomfortable crown, bridge, partial or filling. My only wish is that I would have found him sooner. He and his office staff were even sweet enough to send me the most beautiful flowers on my birthday and their professionalism and thoughtfulness is outstanding. I am ecstatic with the results so far!!!

Having the advantage of working in the dental field, you know who to trust your family, yourself and referrals to. From the moment you call, you are greeted with friendly and knowledgeable people who really go out of their way to accommodate you and help you with any questions you may have. Your every question will be answered and your mind will be set at peace before you have any treatment done. Dr. Stout is just amazing. He takes his time to explain EVERYTHING, which is super appreciated. I loved that he acknowledged my son's concerns and questions. Even though I am in the field, he acknowledged HIM as the patient. We just love him. The rest of his team is great, too. I've taken both my son's for wisdom teeth extractions and myself for treatment, too. Do not hesitate to schedule with him. You'll be in more than capable and caring hands.

Avoid Dr. Patel at Clark & Patel Oral Surgery:…read more I am sharing my experience to warn others about the care I received from Dr. Patel during a wisdom tooth extraction. The procedure itself felt incredibly forceful--he used a hammer and chisel technique that was highly traumatic and left me feeling like my jaw had been fractured. Following the surgery, I experienced severe, uncontrolled bleeding that lasted from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. despite following all post-op instructions. When I sought help, Dr. Patel dismissed the severity of the situation as "normal" and told me to just bite on tea packets, leaving me to deal with hours of continuous bleeding on my own without proper clinical intervention. Furthermore, the excessive force used resulted in a nerve injury. I suffered from complete numbness in my jaw, teeth, and tongue on that side for 4 to 5 months after the procedure. While my sensation eventually returned, the lack of support and the reckless approach to the surgery was completely unacceptable. If you are looking for a gentle, attentive oral surgeon who provides proper post-operative care, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.

First, when I called to make an…read moreappointment, I got an AI who only gave me one option - when I called back just a few minutes later, AI said that ALL the appointments were fill until AUGUST - which was NOT true as I was able to book an appointment on-line on the day I could go as I work during the week. I've been to this office many times several years ago, but NOT since "CLOVE" took over. There was no one in the waiting room when I arrived - 2 receptionist who looked like they'd just graduated high school - one had on LONG FAKE eyelashes - VERY unprofessional. She showed me to the chair - didn't even say my name, just took a couple of x-rays of the place where the cap had fallen off and I only wanted to replace it, but she didn't seem to be interested in me as a person, only as just another body with teeth - or not. Then this very young girl walks in and tells me she's the dentist - again, didn't introduce herself, or ask me anything about me - just looked at the x-rays, said I had to have 2 TEETH PULLED and walked out. (I didn't want to be impolite and as her age, or when (IF) she'd graduated dental school... or where - I was wearing jeans older than her) When Miss fake lashes returned, she was carrying an ipad with the quote... $2,000!!! Said my insurance didn't cover something about bone reconstruction?!?! No one suggested any alternative treatment, or other ways I could save money, they were only interested in HOW MUCH I WOULD PAY. Nevermind the fact I'm over 70, on a very fixed income LOW budget - there was NO personal communication whatsoever. This might me the "new" GenX mentality of customer service, but it is in NO WAY what I'm going to spend whatever money I do have on these snowflakes. Go back to school and learn how to communicate with patients or you won't have any problems - OR patients to communicate with !

This is a long one, so strap in! For anyone who wants the highlights: I wasn't briefed on…read moreanesthetic, I woke up during the procedure, it gave me nerve damage, and I was summarily and condescendingly dismissed. Dr. Farnad performed wisdom teeth extraction on me (all four) at my dentist's office and I can say with complete confidence it was the worst dental/medical experience I've ever been through. From minutes before the procedure to now weeks later it has been nothing short of traumatic. However, I have been reassured that my experience is 'completely normal' for this doctor, so I figured it would be in the best interest of anyone who wants to know that I share a little of what you might be in for! Before going into the exam room I was given multiple pages to fill out and sign, with the anesthetic portion left blank, I let the receptionist know that no one has discussed this with me so I didn't know what to write. She let me know that they would give me the full run-down when I got in with the doctor. Reader, this did not happen, sorry to say. I got into the room and within minutes monitors were placed and an IV needle was inserted into my arm. I'm not good with needles so I looked away when Dr. Farnad inserted the IV, and subsequently pushed whatever medicine it was that he gave me. Again, I want to stress, I had no idea whatsoever what was going to happen to me, so imagine my surprise when I WOKE UP in the middle of the operation. I learned later that I was given IV sedation, so I was never 'all the way out' but wherever I had gone during the first half of the extraction, I was definitely back. I remember every part of it: my hysterical sobbing, Dr. Farnad telling me to stop fighting him or it would take four hours, the male assistant brought in to hold my head still, my apologizing for fighting but 'it hurts so bad', then him giving me another shot in my mouth as he continued to have to break apart one of my wisdom teeth. At no point was it acknowledged that I was most definitely back in the room with them until afterward the assistant said, "huh, so THAT'S oral surgery," and when I responded saying that was an insane thing to announce to a patient, he commented to the other assistant "I'm surprised she's so alert," to which she said "Yeah, but she'll be out again as soon as she's in the car." Reader, again I have to inform you that this did not happen. Now we're weeks out from the surgery, and I'm experiencing absolutely mind blowing levels of nerve irritation in my chin. I went back in to speak with my dentist who let me know that it sounded like nerve damage, between the numbness and the painful tingling. (Note: the dentist brought up the nerve damage, not me.) Today I had the displeasure of going to a follow up with Dr. Farnad who showed up for our appointment an HOUR late. When I brought up the potential nerve damage he immediately dismissed me with a condescending "Oh so you let the internet scare you." Then he let me know that this kind of numbness and nerve pain was so common with his patients, he sees it all the time, and that the pain and numbness will be gone within the next two and a half months. He then asked the assistant for x-rays to see how it looked internally. This was when I really began to question his competence, because while looking at my x-ray he said: a) he left a cap in to not disturb the nerve, b) did not leave a cap in, he left a bunch of room for the nerve, c) was unable to tell if he had done a bone graft for me, and asked if I had paid for one to settle the matter. He then gave me his personal phone number and encouraged me to stay off the internet, because it's only going to scare me. Well sorry, I went back on the internet.
