I was referred to Dr Potts by a friend who was fitted for an oral appliance for sleep apnea. I wanted one for travel as I didn't like bringing my C-Pap machine. I have had it for a few weeks and even had a sleep apnea test to make sure it was working properly. Thankfully it did and can even replace my C-Pap machine if I decide to I'm very happy I went and highly recommend him. read more

The extraction of a wisdom tooth was quick and easy. The reattachment of an adjacent tooth was delayed because the wrong screw came in. A new one has to be ordered. Dr. Potts explained everything in detail. read more

I was a long time patient of Mike Potts Derick's father who was superior in handling dental work. On my recent visit to Derick Potts he took xrays and determined one molar was looking dark near the top of the root and said it needed to be removed and couldn't be repaired. He indicated th molar in front of it also was in the same condition. Trusting him I went with his recommendation. During the process of removal he decided to use a cutter to cut the tooth for easy removal, however he failed to properly secure the cutting attachemnt in his air operated tool and it came loss cutting the inside of my cheek casuing it to bleed a lot. he re installed a new cutting tool and then plulled the two parts of the tooth out. placing gauze pads in to attempt to stop the bleeding and said to keep pressure on the side of my cheek without even a simple sorry for his lack of properly securing the cutting tool in his air tool. a day later the cheek was greatly infamed and I saw my GP who immediately gave me antibiotics to take care of the infected cheek. Over the next two weeks I continued to feel that something still remained. I consulted another dentist and he pulled the remaining part of the tooth out that was left in place that Derick assured me was completely removed, further he also stated the other molar Derick said was bad did not need any futher attention as claimed by Derick Potts. Derick never offered any antibiotics or a simple sorry for the damag he caused which clearly shows his lack of concern for his fathers past patients seeking the same level of service previously offered. read more

Her attention to detail was self-evident as she worked hard to restore the cleanliness of my teeth and admittedly I need to do a better job following her good advice myself. On Tuesday, November 4th, I had a tooth extraction on my journey to toward having a dental implant. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Potts office, personnel, and treatment!
