My Daughter and Son both had appointments today, and my anxiety was high as I know my son doesn't do well at the dentist. Today he had to have new X-rays done before his cleaning, I prepared myself for the kicking and screaming. The assistant sat him down in the chair, she noticed how scared he was and calmed him as he begin to whine! Before I knew it he was laughing with her and then she was done with his X-ray. I stood there proud and surprised. We then went to the room to get his cleaning done, and I noticed how confident he was. He sat in the chair like a big boy and opened wide. No tears whatsoever! They are amazing! My daughter was excited her hard to clean spots were gone, and my son was pleased with how well he did! You can tell when someone loves what they do! 10/10 read more

And then there's some lacking experience and dishonest. What I have with Dr. Neda and Dr. Adib are two world class dentists. who are always getting better keeping up on the latest, pushing themselves to that next level. Not a fan of the dentist (in general since I was a yout) but was pleasantly surprised with the experience. Everyone there is super nice and very attentive. They have really cool technology including teeth scanning which enables you (and the doctor) to see a close up view of your teeth. The folks at Stars give you lots of good information and will walk through the scan tooth by tooth. I was fortunate to have been serviced by an outstanding Dr./Dentist as well as an outstanding hygienist. I am often frustrated with the people working the front desk at medical facilities. They are often poorly trained, condescending and not great at their jobs. At Stars, it is the absolute opposite. I was impressed with the folks at the check in and check out process. They were super friendly, very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Stars seems to have prioritized the customer experience and must only hire smart and friendly people to work the front desk. I will never look forward to a dentist appointment, but I think this is one of the best places you can go for dental service. read more

From the minute you walk in the door you are greeted and treated well by staff. Dr. Adib finished the process of a new crown. Long process but the best crown I've ever gotten. At Stars Dental there is a great level of professionalism, knowledge and experience. The front waiting room is pleasant and relaxing, and the front desk gals are very helpful from scheduling to clarifying and helping with insurance claims. In an emergency or day where your teeth really really hurt and there is a problem, which has only happened to me once or twice, I have always been able to be seen the next day. Scheduling is a breeze. The two dentists that work here are an incredible team, and will talk with you in detail any concerns you have. They look at your entire dental health as it relates to lifestyle, current medications, diet, stress in your life, all of it. I have been helped with my grinding teeth problem, and been given alternative topical aid recommendations as well as help for a sturdier night guard. All of the dental hygienists are very kind and personable and know what they are doing. In my 10+ years of coming here I have never had a bad experience! read more

This is a terrible dental office. The "office manager" Amy Stephens is extremely rude to patients and the dentists?! Their billing practices are very misleading. Thankfully, there are many other reputable dentists with better service, transparent billing and superior customer service to go to throughout Ventura County. I would skip this practice. Went in for a cleaning. Quickly got me in and set up. Hygienist was great, she took her time methodically working at removing built up plaque behind my bottom front teeth, while doing so comfortably. I do not write reviews unless service is exceptional (or so poor that I want to tell others to beware). Stars Dental employees and, of course, both Dr Adib Setarah and Dr Neda Setarah are FANTASTIC. I have put off going to the dentist for far too long and the Dr's have addressed my issues, appointments are booked in the next two weeks, and I am going to start 2022 off with a few items on my "To Do List" happily checked off. They explained everything in layman's terms, were patient with my questions, and I never felt rushed to get out of the chair. This is the BEST dentist office I've been to in my life. Last year, I had extensive filling-procedures to get done, and Doctor Adib Setareh was incredible.
