It has gone down hill. Had a tooth that had a filling in it from childhood and they wanted to replace it. I had it done before while back but now with this dentist not the old one nothing but issues to lead into a root canal!!!! Ugh. No way seems they just want money!!! Don't we all but I am dealing with tooth issue ever since and what do you do if you don't trust them???? read more

I wanted to express Stella did a great job putting in my crown. She was very sweet and we had a great conversation. Brook was my hygienist she did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and I also love the fact that she placed glasses to protect my eyes from getting any foreign material in them thank you brook! Love this dental office and all the staff! I saw Dr Ehde and was very impressed. Maretta, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth, was very thorough, knowledgeable and sweet. The two receptionists who helped me were very nice as well. I recently moved to Camarillo and had to find a new dentist. I read about 50 reviews on Google for dentists in Ventura County and finally chose Camarillo Smiles based on reviews and visiting the locations. So glad I did! First time patient here, was looking for a local dentist, and it took my insurance. I was very impressed with the professionalism, and the equipment in tech needs, very modern state of the art. Alex was my hygienist, and though she's a tap, I hope they keep her on full-time. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me anything, I did know ahead of time they do sleep studies for people with nighttime breathing problems which I may have. I will do that later on and maybe update my review, but otherwise it's very good local dentist for the people in Camarillo. read more

Camarillo smiles is my favorite dentist. I went in for a deep cleaning and a cavity fill and all the dentist fear went away with them. Deep cleaning is always uncomfortable but they made it the best experience I've had. Same for the cavity refill. This was the best experience I've had. Everyone here is very friendly and help you through any concerns/fears you have. I'm glad I found them and will definitely keep coming back. read more

I had a tooth ache 3 days ago and went to the Camarillo Smile's office to see if I could get a walk in appointment for Dr Daniels to check it for me. He was busy with full bookings, but if I waited a bit he would try to fit me in. The front desk person went and talked to Dr Daniels and came back and said he would see me in an hour. I was able to leave and return at the appointment time and he did see me. After X-rays and inspecting my tooth pain, he recommended I go see an Endodontist to determine if I need a root canal. I did, and am about to see one today. Dr Daniel was extremely thorough, professional, and competent. This practice is exceptionally good. read more

I've been going to Camarillo Smiles since 1991 and I really like this dental office. Dr. Mike has been my dentist and he's the best!!! Dr. Ehdi (spelling?) and all the dental hygienists and assistants are also great! I haven't met the other dentists but I'm sure they're also top notch as well. I'm now being treated by Dr. Mike for sleep apnea and it's really helping tremendously. Not crazy about the appliance I have to wear but seeing Dr. Mike every 6 weeks for adjusting it makes it worthwhile. He always has something funny to say and leaves me collapsing with laughter. Now who can say THAT about a dentist. They're usually deliverers of pain haha. I highly recommend this dental practice. Everyone there is friendly and really do care about their patients'. read more

Hands down recommend this dentistry! I can't lie, I will never be comfortable with metal tools in my mouth. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years before coming to Camarillo Smiles. They were all really nice, even Dr. Ehde did my Invisalign consult, she's super chill and nice. But I have to say Brooke is my favorite. She did my first scans and went over everything with me, she even started a small cleaning after my scans! Then, she did my deep cleanings. She's very nice and listens if I feel any discomfort or pain. I feel comfortable when she does my teeth and I've noticed a significant change with my teeth and gums. I found Camarillo Smiles dentistry through a search on Yelp. My goal was to have my Mercury-infused amalgam fillings removed and replaced with white fillings. On my first appointment they took X-rays and I received an awesome gentle cleaning, and was given some great advice on how to keep my teeth and gums healthy. My second appointment was to remove the old amalgam fillings and this was done by Dr. Brent. Within one hour my old Mercury fillings were out and my new fillings were in! Every person involved in my treatment was very personable, respectful and kind which made me feel comfortable and completely at ease from the get go! Truly one of the best dentists office I've been to. Every member of the staff is super kind and warm. They take the time to talk with you and help you comfortable while they prep to poke around your mouth. The dentists aren't impatient, but take the time to explain and answer questions. And I feel they are very honest! I've been swindled by a dentist and was really scared to try to find a new one after that, but this has been a great experience so far. My son (3) is always well cared for and they're very gentle and attentive to his needs. I would 100% recommend this office to anyone! read more

I'm writing a long overdue review of Camarillo Smiles. My daughter told me about them and so I went for the first time about a year ago. I needed a few things done as I hadn't been to the dentist in quite awhile. I would call out specific people, but the fact is, they are all awesome. I don't think I've ever been to a more friendly and professional fetal office in my life. All of the hygienists are super nice and great at their jobs. My dentist is the nicest lady and the front desk pros are so accommodating and kind. I want to add that this is the most comprehensive dentist office I've ever been to. They really cover everything and are great about educating their patients. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. read more

Been going here a couple years now, I actually hadn't gone to the dentist for a very long time and going back was intimidating the very first visit. I try my best to take care of my teeth, but I know dentists do more than regular brushing. The office is spacious and pleasant, the receptionists are all very friendly, and the staff are all very professional. I've had 3 different hygienists there (I don't mind getting the same one) and only 1 of them was a little too rough. What I love about this place is how they're always keeping up with recent case studies and always learning about the best kind of preventative care. It really makes me feel that they care about what they do rather than be stuck with what they learned at school. Overall I'm sticking with these guys as my permanent dentist office and don't think I'll be going anywhere. I drive from Simi Valley and I'm totally cool with making the drive out here. read more

I give Camarillo Smiles 5 stars. I had an occlusion problem. Dr. Rajesh Ameen listened to me, and then did what I wanted and needed. The results were super. I think Dr. Ameen is a genius at fixing occlusion problems. I came from Washington, DC. There Checkbook magazine rated the dentists around Washington. The very highest marks went to the dentists who "Did what I wanted." read more

Ten years ago, I made my first appointment with Camarillo Smiles; it was the best dental experience of my lifetime. I have a history of poor dentistry and was dreading the visit. Camarillo Smiles staff was friendly and put me at ease. Jenny is my go-to hygienist, and I can't speak highly enough of her gentle cleaning methods and personal care. I have occasionally seen other hygienists and was pleased with them as well. Today, I had an appointment for teeth bonding with Dr. Edhe. Dr. Edhe is knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest dental techniques. I almost fell asleep during the procedure. Dr. Edhe did so much more than improve my looks. She was gentle and kept me up to date as she proceeded. I am thrilled with my improved look. I will smile more often. If you are like me and are bothered by the dental shaking knees syndrome, I encourage you to look into Camarillo Smiles. I think you will be happy. read more

They don't stand behind there work. Be aware. I had a filling fall out after 2 weeks and they wanted to charge me again to fix it. Found out this disappointment after going there for 20 + years. My husband needed to be seen asap. I called around looking for a dentist that was open on a Friday and could squeeze him in. Camarillo Smiles was that place and the woman who took my call was very helpful. My husband hates the dentist because of a previous bad experience with another dentist so he was a bit skeptical going in. Well, he came out relieved. I've had 2 visits with Camarillo Smiles for separate issues and I was very impressed both times seeing completely different people during both visits. The first visit, Maretta was my hygienist (have known her for many years) and she was able to fit me in for a medical visit due to jaw pain. She and Dr. Holiday made some recommendations; both were professional, knowledgable, and completely reassuring. My jaw pain subsided and I was incredibly grateful for their help. Being that I do not have dental insurance, the cost was totally reasonable. My second visit, Maretta tried to get me in for another appointment with her, this time for a cleaning, however she was busy. (Understandable with all of the amazing reviews she has!) She recommended I see Lauren -- also an amazing hygienist. Lauren blew me away with her knowledge not just of the mouth, but how the entire body can be impacted by oral health. She was patient spending, much more time with me than previous experiences during cleanings, and very kind. She then gave me additional resources to help me improve quality of life based on our discussions. Dr. Ehde was also very sweet. She confirmed everything and reiterated what Lauren said earlier. Not only does this office deserve 5 stars for their compassion, knowledge base, and patient care, but I am joining their membership, as it helps me tremendously moving forward being, as I said earlier, I do not have dental insurance. I felt well taken care of at my first visit to Camarillo Smiles recently. The hygienist and dentist were both very thorough and friendly. The reason I took a star off was because of the sales pitches they both gave about needing to buy a water pick, I would benefit from teeth whitening, and that I need a retainer so my teeth don't shift. Well, they haven't shifted in over 25 years, so... Lay off the sales and you'd get 5 stars. And if you just can't lay off, don't have the dentist repeat the same pitch that I've already heard from the hygienist. The office staff for sure gets 5 stars. I followed him out from the valley because I thought his care was exemplary. It was 50 minute trip from Studio City to Camarillo - but I thought it was worth it. I had a crown made and when it came time to install it Dr Egelskie couldnt find the time, perhaps because I had already paid in full, so I was shunted off to an apprentice or an assistant . NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL... I PAID FOR A DOCTOR TO TREAT ME - NOT A "HELPER" YOU SHOULD ALL BE COMPLETELY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. FOR SUCH SHODDY MEDICAL PROCEDURES... Dr. Czubiak is a class act. I moved up to the bay area a year ago and recently went to a corporate dental office on a Groupon deal (x-rays/exam/cleaning). They told me that I had a very large cavity under an existing filling and that I needed a crown ASAP. The dentist was shocked that it was giving me no pain and that it may even need a root canal, but they wouldn't know until once they got in there. They quoted me $1280 for the work. They also told me I had another small cavity on another tooth. I called my dentist's office of 10 years in Camarillo, Camarillo Smiles, just to get an idea of prices for dental procedures without insurance. They were happy to talk to me and told me what they charge for all their procedures ($975 for a crown). Since I was going to be in So Cal for a visit anyways, I made an appointment to get it taken care of and had Randhawa Dental in Alameda email me my recent x-rays. When I got there, all prepared to have my tooth drilled out...I was filled with anxiety and bummed out that I had to spend my vacation getting dental work...Dr. Czubiak told me that I did not need a crown, in fact, I did not any cavities at all. He pulled up my x-rays from 6 years ago to compare them to the recent ones and showed me that there were two very small shaded areas that were caused by different features of my teeth, but since they had not grown obviously they were not cavities. NO CROWN NEEDED! The moral of the story is stay away from corporate dental offices!!! Dr. Czubiak is as honest and kind as they come. Cass is an amazing hygenist too : ) read more

Both my son and I who's 5 come here and have loved our experiences. everyone is super kind and thorough and they take their time to really explain to you all procedures and make you feel comfortable about what's happening.
