Well... I really can't relate to any of the photos on the website, yet i can relate to the beautiful smiles created by Dr. Pollack. I was referred to him by one of my favorite Dentists, Mark Mehrali, and as expected i was not disappointed. Dr. Pollack and his team are talented, gentle, professionals. The entire staff is respectful and friendly and most important to me - when you make an appointment it is honored and timely. John is very experienced as a dental assistant and we had many positive visits. I did do the Inside version of braces and I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. McCarthy suggested I might need Braces to help with my TMJ issues, so he sent me to see Dr. Pollock. After a very thorough exam which consisted of many pictures from Brand New Equipment, Dr. Pollock gave me the results. Low and behold, he has to refer me out, as he cannot help me, except for the braces that I might need to straighten some teeth out. Dr. Pollack and his team get an A+ for customer service. The entire staff is friendly, accommodating, and honest! I went in for a free consultation thinking that I needed Invisalign, but Dr. Pollack recommended against it because it actually wouldn't do much to straighten my teeth (I had braces 10 years ago and they are still pretty straight). Without his opinion, I would have spent a lot of money on an unnecessary procedure (which other orthodontists would have gladly taken). I ended up purchasing a new retainer which I definitely needed, and Dr. Pollack took a lot of time to answer my questions and show me options on that. I really appreciated not feeling rushed, even though my appointment was at the end of the work day and I'm sure everyone wanted to go home! If you need an orthodontist in Camarillo, look no further. Edited to add: I had an appointment this evening to get my retainer adjusted, and Dr. Pollack took an hour of his time going back and forth adjusting the retainer to make sure everything fit perfectly. Dr. Pollack treated two of my kids so far and the quality and service of work was exemplary. He is very serious and scientific about the science of orthodontics and will tell you exactly what is needed, not more, not less. He has all of the latest ortho equipment which is amazing how advanced it has become. I am into tech stuff so enjoyed nerding out with him and having him show me the latest technology (luckily office was not crowded that day so he took the extra time in his schedule to indulge me). My son required work for a significant overbite and Dr. P's work fixed it perfectly. My daughter has cosmetic braces and things are going great. If only she would wear her bands a little more often!!! Just a few more months. The new office is also amazing and conveniently located in the middle of Camarillo. Super clean and hi tech with streaming Netflix to enjoy in the waiting room. Best Ortho in town hands down. Be careful with some of the others in town as have heard a lot of nightmare stories. They are either too old and out of practice, or just to swamped to really focus on what your kids need. read more
