Finally, 3/23/2023 I called again and spoke to Ana who in a passive aggressive way said they wouldn't call the insurance company. I finally asked for the office manager to call me back, and she did an hour later; she said once I had the consultation they would do a predetermination of cost. As a potential client why would I involve myself further in the process if you aren't able to confirm with insurance on coverage? Also, why are you as office managers and staff employed if you aren't able to facilitate new business? I called you, you literally paid nothing for this lead and I'm insured. This dentist is probably amazing but the staff in the office needs to be better.

After coming home I realized what happened I was so upset that an important part of my smile that hold a cultural significance is completely wiped. The doctor insists that this is not an intentional lightening of my gum although they clearly said to me that they've "removed some hyperpigmentation" but also they never mentioned in my consultation that this was a possibility nor was it indicated in the consent form. I consulted with a different periodontist after the fact and after reviewing my consent form, that makes no mention of lighter gum as an outcome of a crown lengthening, they suspect that this may have been done, because to some, a lighter gum is "aesthetically preferred". Gum lightening maybe the "in thing" to do right now but I absolutely didn't consent to it. In fact I hate my results so much that I wish I never altered my original smile. I recommend anyone who wouldn't want alterations to their smile on a whim of a doctor to avoid this place.

Had the swankiest Dental office I'd ever seen. And a very friendly person too! I've seen had all my teeth on top pulled out with a false top. If there was ever any advice I can give to anyone, is to floss after every meal and brush twice a day, especially at night.

My first experience with him was when I was in excruciating dental pain and desperately needed an appointment. I was honestly starting to have those "tie a string around the tooth and slam the door" thoughts because the pain was so unbearable. Despite his busy schedule, he saw me immediately and had me scheduled for surgery that same week. I have significant dental anxiety, an extensive dental history, and a true dental phobia after previous negative experiences. Somehow, Dr. Wallace recognized how anxious I was without me having to say much. He took the time to answer every question, addressed every concern I had, and never once made me feel rushed. His calm, reassuring demeanor completely changed what I expected to be a terrifying experience. The day of surgery couldn't have gone more smoothly. His surgical staff was exceptional--kind, compassionate, and incredibly reassuring from start to finish. Later that evening, Dr. Wallace personally texted me to check on how I was doing. He was also quick to respond when I had questions after surgery, even later in the evening, and I was genuinely touched when I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers wishing me a speedy recovery. Those gestures may seem small, but they spoke volumes about the kind of physician he is. Unfortunately, a few days ago I found myself back in his office after breaking another tooth completely at the gum line while eating pizza. I was once again in excruciating pain and assumed I'd have to wait days to be seen. Instead, he squeezed me into his already packed schedule the very next day. Just like the first time, everything was outstanding. The surgery went smoothly, the staff was wonderful, and Dr. Wallace once again personally checked on me after the procedure. That level of care is incredibly rare these days. Beyond being an outstanding oral surgeon, Dr. Wallace is simply an exceptional human being. He has a calming presence, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of making an experience that most people dread feel so much less intimidating. For someone with dental anxiety, that means more than I can put into words. I've had an extensive dental journey over the years--at one point alone I had 54 dental appointments in a single year with various providers. Because of that, I have a pretty good basis for comparison when I say that Dr. Wallace truly stands out. His technical skill is excellent, but what makes him exceptional is the compassion, empathy, and genuine concern he shows every patient. So I called Kessler Park Dental and they told me there that this was something they could do if i so desired ? So I thought, well they performed a write up on cost on paper with a 500 dollar charge for there so called preferred pricing and another 35,000 for the saving of these teeth that's if there were no other issues (yea right). I made it clear I wanted dentures and asked the dentist he tells me that he felt uncomfortable pulling in his words "teeth that can be saved "? Its very plain to me that this set up is very capitalized in a money making machine. Never mind what the patient wants. A few weeks later I had a crown come off and called them to put it back on. Went in, they said the tooth needed to be removed. And guess what, I asked to remove the tooth I was told they did not do extractions there, WAIT A MINUTE. They lied to me, denture service includes extractions, he decided to do nothing at all sends me up front for a referral for an oral surgeon. Clear across the other side of Dallas. And charges me 147 dollars for doing nothing. And to top it off I had to find my crown on a table I guess they thought they were going to keep it. Shameful just plain terrible, I wanted to warn anyone who may assume that they have a say in what happens to there teeth its plain to see that this dentist is only after the money.
