They forced me to take X-rays even though I provided X-rays from 6 months ago. They told me I have gingivitis, a host of other gum issues and that I couldn't get a standard "healthy mouth" cleaning, and that I need another, more expensive cleaning. No other dentist office that I've ever been to has had more than 1 type of cleaning. I said no I want standard and they refused to provide one. Went to another dentist the next day and they told me I was totally fine. They use a lot of medical terms to try and create fear. This is literally criminal they are probably committing fraud with insurers.

I just let them fix the cavities, so they did the filling in the following week, but the fillings totally failed, I have experienced tooth pain while eating very soft food like veggies, and cold sensitivities for all the teeth done fillings with them, while I didn't have any issues with my any teeth before the fillings done, what's even worse is that the gap in between the teeth is to small and the floss string can't get in, I complaint those issues with Dr. Vazquez and went there for the second visit, she then asked me to bite on a paper with blue and red color and adjusted my bite on one teeth not the other two adjacent teeth and tried to open the gap in between, but because the gap is too small and she didn't check the gap after the filling, it ends up to hurt my teeth with lots of blood, she cheated me to say if things don't go better, I want you to come back. I came back a week later and complained about my tooth pain issues and she started to adjust the bite on that two teeth but still not able to open the gap, so she offered to redo the fillings. There is no reason I should do any filling with such a disqualified dentist that never check bite after filling or the gaps in between the teeth with simple floss, also not mixing the material well that caused sensitivity to me, I asked for the refund for the money I paid to their office so that I can pay out of my pocked to get it fixed in another more qualified dentist, they told me they need to ask their manager but I never got reply.

I love the Aspen Dental House in Dallas, but I no longer have dental insurance and found Maple Dental Center on Groupon. I know, you shouldn't go cheap on your teeth, but mine are healthy and just needed a cleaning. Well, I had been having some trouble with sensitivity, and the stuff the dentist put all over my teeth as a protectant was not pleasant as compared to other dental places (it came off as soon as I left), the cleaning wasn't as thorough but good enough, and he suggested I get a full blown cap on my tooth in case it was cracked and he couldn't see it through the microscope. This is a regular problem for me, so I know the cap was unnecessary. Anyways, I paid the extra $30 for the teeth protectant like I always have at places in the past, and they overcharged my card by $60. I went to this place in April and just received my refund check at the end of July. The bad part is that the front desk people are not THAT fluent in English, so talking to people about the overcharge was extremely complicated. Also, I called them daily for two weeks before someone would finally answer the phone (supposedly their phone system was messed up). Not worth the hassle- just go somewhere good and pay the price. You truly do get what you pay for!

Dr. Kahn however was clear about what she recommended and her explanations made sense, despite my immediate instinct that I was being price gouged. I began my treatment at the Oak Lawn office, where I consistently received excellent care and service. Unfortunately, after that office closed and my treatment was transferred to the Wycliff location, my experience has been extremely disappointing. During my appointment with Dr. Patel in approximately October 2025, my Invisalign attachments were removed, and I was told that my teeth were straight and my treatment was complete. However, the primary tooth that led me to pursue Invisalign treatment was still visibly stacked and not properly aligned. It was obvious that my treatment goals had not been achieved. At that same appointment, I was required to pay $500 for a retainer, which I paid without hesitation. I questioned why the retainer was not included in my treatment, and I was told that because I had selected the "Lite Ortho" plan, retainers were not covered under my contract. I was unable to verify this because I was never provided a copy of my treatment contract. When I returned to be fitted for my retainer, I informed Dr. Patel that I was not satisfied with the results because my tooth remained misaligned. The office took new photographs, reattached my Invisalign attachments, and ordered a refinement. I was advised that my treatment plan only included one modification. After completing the refinement trays, the tooth still required a small amount of movement. At that point, Dr. Patel brought in the orthodontist to examine my teeth. Instead of completing my treatment, they attempted to have me sign a completely new Invisalign contract that was significantly more expensive than the original treatment plan. I refused to sign because I believed my original treatment had not been completed as promised. Following that appointment, Lionel Johnson from the finance department told me he would contact me when my new trays arrived. That conversation occurred in April 2026.It has now been more than three months, and I have received no meaningful communication from that office. I have repeatedly called seeking updates, but each time I receive the same response, that my trays have been ordered but have not yet arrived. No one has returned my calls, no one has provided an estimated timeline, and no one has explained why there has been such a lengthy delay. To make matters worse, I still have Invisalign attachments bonded to my teeth. No one has contacted me to remove them, discuss my treatment status, or explain whether my treatment has been discontinued. I have essentially been left in limbo while continuing to receive excuse after excuse.

Had the swankiest Dental office I'd ever seen. And a very friendly person too! I've seen had all my teeth on top pulled out with a false top. If there was ever any advice I can give to anyone, is to floss after every meal and brush twice a day, especially at night.
