He explained everything thoroughly to where there were no surprises, was extremely patient comforting me and dealing with my fears, and best accomplishment of all - made the process painless. He even personally called a few hours later to make sure I was ok. One of his best quotes was, "Every time a patient signals pain, I feel a part of the pain with them. If you don't, you've gone numb to the human experience and should consider retirement." I came in with a loose front crown causing pain. What should have been a straightforward cleaning and consultation turned into a nearly two-hour waste of time. I was left waiting repeatedly, moved between rooms with little communication, and saw a dentist who never introduced himself, seemed annoyed to be there, promised he would return after my cleaning, and never came back. The most frustrating part of the entire experience was the front desk employee who came in afterward. Despite the fact that I had already spent considerable time discussing my situation with both the hygienist and dentist, she spoke to me as if none of those conversations had happened. She insisted on explaining my own treatment plan back to me, gave me incorrect information about insurance coverage, and immediately began pushing me to schedule new crowns. When I explained that I was simply waiting for the dentist to return as promised so he could assess the tooth that was actually causing me pain, she informed me that wasn't possible because he was now in surgery. I then asked if I could see another dentist. Her response was that he was the only dentist available. That answer was honestly shocking considering there are multiple dentists listed by the practice and I've personally seen several different dentists there over the years. Apparently after wasting nearly two hours of my time, my only option was to come back in a week to see the same dentist who had already failed to return when promised. What made it worse was that after all of this, she immediately asked if I wanted to go ahead and book that appointment. I actually laughed because I thought she was joking. I left, sat in my car, called another dental office, and was seen an hour later. The difference was night and day. Professional staff, clear communication, transparent pricing, and a dentist who actually took the time to sit down and speak with me. I ended up moving forward with treatment there because I trusted them. This office has gone downhill. Patients are treated like inconveniences, communication is poor, and promises made in the exam room don't seem to matter. I won't be returning.

I hadn't been to the dentist in about six years, so I was a little nervous going in, but everyone was so warm and welcoming and never once made me feel bad or shamed me for being away for so long. I also barely had to wait, which I loved. I was in and out with everything done in about an hour and a half, and their technology is amazing. We did X-rays as well as a really cool 3D scan of my teeth, and Dr. Ami was so thorough and gave me multiple options without making me feel pressured. The pricing is also fantastic. Traemeika did my cleaning and she was AMAZING! It was probably the quickest, easiest, most pain-free and thorough cleaning I've ever had. She was so sweet, and we even put on some music while she worked, which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back for my cleaning in the next six months. It's in an unassuming little building along lower Henderson that I've driven by about 2,250 times without ever noticing that it's there. When my longtime dentist in Lakewood went out of network with Delta Dental, I found this place, which is in the Delta network. When I made my first appointment, I did find it odd that I had to wait a few weeks, while the dentist I was going to see awaited "recredentialing" from the insurance company - a term I was unfamiliar with. Also, they required an up-front $50 deposit, which I had also never encountered. But I haven't been a new patient anywhere in about 25 years, maybe that's the new normal. So 3 years go by, my dentist (who has since left) seemed solid. I had a few checkups and one crown to replace several deteriorating childhood fillings in the same tooth. It wasn't perfect at first, but the doc did some shaping and it seems okay now. They did always seem eager to push me toward expensive treatments with specialists, but I'm getting older, and those may be totally legit. Who knows? And then my company changed insurance providers from Delta to Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I called weeks before my next appointment to verify they accepted my insurance. "Oh sure, we take that" they assured me. A few days before my checkup, they text and ask for pictures of the front and back of my insurance card, which I happily send to them. I have my checkup, everything's great, I schedule my next one, take my free toothbrush and go home. A few weeks later, I get a bill for $78 for my routine checkup that should be fully covered by insurance. So I call, and they tell me that while the new dentist is (you guessed it) awaiting recredentialing with BCBS, I'm "temporarily out of network". So they knew this the whole time I was asking them about my new provider and sending them my insurance info 3 DAYS BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, and nobody bothered to say "hey, we do accept BCBS, but you're out of network right now, it's going to cost you $80, unless you wait until you're back in network". How hard could that have been??? I guess if you'd rather have my $80 than have me as a patient going forward, it's pretty hard.

I told them I just wanted my usual biannual cleaning and that I would take responsibility if something was wrong. They asked me to sign an acknowledgement stating the fact that I refused the X-rays, which I did....15 minutes later the dental hygienist comes in putting inappropriate pressure on me once again. She was basically in fake tears stating she didn't feel comfortable cleaning my teeth without the blast of radiation. Forcing patients to undergo regular X-rays, regardless of any obvious dental issues, is not only harmful, but goes against the standards set by the American Dental Association. This place has lost all credibility and I will never be back. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place like the plaque on your teeth!

The entry is very nice with modern white couches and TV so the wait didn't seem long. I came in because I had a crown from 10+ years ago fall out and wanted to compare doctors. I went to another dentist and my first visit with them I had zero cavities or issues but only 6 months later when I went back in I mysteriously had 9 million things to fix with outrageous prices. I wanted a second opinion so I came to FLOSS. Dr. Rob was super helpful and explained every part of the exam to me in detail then showed me the trouble areas. He told me what was important to get taken care of right away and what could wait if needed. The woman in charge of billing was super nice and showed me the break down of what it would cost out of pocket and what my insurance would cover. They were able to do the procedures I needed same day and I don't know if I'm just older and it hurts less but let me tell you the pain was extremely minimal. A little bit of pressure and sensitivity but otherwise it was a walk in the park compared to what I remembered as a child. I started at 10:20 and walked out by 2pm with very minimal waiting. I highly recommend all of the staff at FLOSS and I will be referring my friends.

The awesome part is that if you're a new patient, you get a free Zoom whitening. Everyone in the office is so nice and welcoming. Never are they condescending or judgmental - that's just not how they roll. My second and third visits were for a root canal. As expected, I was pretty terrified. It wasn't bad at all. Seriously. It was easy. And, better yet, Dr. Boothe and her team are so skilled that I had virtually no pain after. Most importantly, Floss takes most dental insurance and is really good about helping with payment plans and discounts. I can't recommend them more highly.
