I went in this morning, thinking I was attending a follow-up appointment based on what his assistant had told me. However, I was informed upon arrival that it was actually a cleaning, not a checkup. No one had clarified this to me in advance. When I tried to explain, Dr. Craig Goodman became extremely rude and started yelling at me. He complained about needing to pay the hygienist and how he "woke up early" to accommodate me, completely ignoring the fact that I had also woken up at 6 AM to drive 40 minutes just to make this appointment before work. Dr. Goodman is someone I highly recommend. I had 2 gum grafts done and not only did I have little pain, he actually called to check on me. You don't get that kind of treatment anywhere! Since I had a gum graft done on my bottom front two teeth, I was nervous it would be noticeable but it looks great! He has also made me a nightguard that I love and have been wearing for 6 years! Dr. Goodman has been taking care of my teeth and gums since I had periodontal surgery years ago. He and his staff are pleasant, professional and skilled. The know me when I walk in the door and my visits are always comfortable and pleasant. I appreciate that they are willing to work with my schedule and I have not had any further problems with my gums since I have been with them. I have had gum surgery that he has performed with absolutely no issues. He was focused on long-term outcomes and short-term comfort while making sure I was kept aware of all of my options. Awful-does not care about the patient, but only his pocket book. Was refused treatment because insurance $$ was not enough for him. Pushed the nigh guard when I am not sure that one was needed. Overall, not a dentist I would ever recommend. read more
