26 October 2015 Since childhood, I have been seen by several dentists because I grew up having not-so-good teeth. Dr. Banks has been my dentist for close to 20 years now and when I came to him, there were several fillings and gold crowns requiring work I also had been diagnosed with bruxism and my teeth were worn down due to this. He has taken very good care of my remaining teeth and saved several from extraction. He is quite aware of my dislike of visiting the dentist and he and his office staff have made every effort to make me feel at ease despite the work done. Dr. Banks is quite compassionate and does excellent work. One thing that I particularly like is that he does not try to force me to have the work done. He simply states what he feels is the most prudent, conservative and cost-effective treatment that is required on a tooth. He explains the options that I have and what I might expect. Then it is left to me to decide if that is the treatment that I want to have done. For procedures that are beyond his scope of practice, he readily refers me to a specialist. Not all dentists are willing to do this; however, even when it would be in the patient's best interest and be the most comfortable. I appreciate this immensely. Just recently, an extraction was required on a molar that I had. While Dr. Banks could have removed the tooth himself, he referred me to an oral surgeon, which, was the best option. I know that a lot of general dentists would have attempted the extraction themselves. Would I recommend Dr. Banks and his staff to a friend, relative or colleague? For sure I would and have already done so. If you are like me and dislike going to the dentist, then I feel that Dr. Banks is the type of person that you would benefit from for your dentist. Dr. Banks and his entire staff make going to the dentist a very comfortable experience, and they are always smiling and upbeat. They aren't simply good at their jobs, they are also genuinely good people. I had to get dentures, and I was very worried about how they would look and if others would know, but when Dr. Banks put them in and I saw how they looked for the first time, I began to cry. But it was tears of joy. Prior to getting my dentures, I had very masculine, yellow-brownish, teeth with a severe overbite. I didn't show my teeth on the rare occasion I did smile, and I didn't take selfies, and avoided cameras. Today, I have a beautiful smile, Dr. Banks and his assistant, Patsy didn't just change my smile, they changed my life! I now have white, more feminine looking teeth, and probably my favorite part of all,I no longer have an overbite! I would, and already have, referred some very close friends and family in a heartbeat! I have grown to feel incredibly close to Dr. Banks and his staff, they are truly good people and I would not normally refer anyone to go anywhere, however, in this case, I absolutely had to let people know about these remarkable people! read more

I have been going to Dr. Banks for over 25 years now, and he and his staff have become not only friends to me, but family. In fact, everyone in my family goes there now, too! My daughter, and my husband, who is very particular about who works on his teeth, think Dr. Banks and staff are the best. It is truly like a little family experience. His office is a cute, warm home/turned into an office, and Janet and Patsy, his hygienist and assistant, are there to welcome you the minute you open the door. And they are all the utmost in professionalism. I can trust that I am getting the best dental care there is to get from all of them. And I can trust that my daughter and husband do, as well. I have been a patient of Ben's since he began his practice over 40 years ago.. There is no one else I would trust more. I had a bad experience with my teeth when I was a child and left them in a very bad state. Once I started seeing Ben he eventually got them all repaired. I've had crowns, bridges and even implants with no issues. I visit Ben and his staff every 3 months for teeth cleaning just to stay on top of things. Besides, it's a nice place to visit.
