Purchased a 2018 Honda Civic from Golling Chevrolet in Wayne MI. When we first looked at the car it was detailed very poorly. So I mentioned to the salesman Josh Burger that it should be detailed again and properly, quite frankly it was disgusting. When we returned the next day to pick up the car he boasted about how it was expertly detailed and looked great. But in reality it didn't look like it was touched at all. Almost the entire car was dirty, such as the cup holders, center console, door pocket. Not only were the fine details not cleaned. The floor was never even vacuumed instead they tried to hide that with the floor mats. It wasn't only dirt and hair, human biological matter such as dead skin and anything else covered the steering wheel and center console. The car was filthy and full of dog hair. I have attached photos of the disgusting detail job. I paid around $300 to have it detailed by LCB detail service who did a fantastic job and they offered to compensate me but only for $100 and refused to pay more than that, which was offered by the GM himself. I had asked if they could go up to $200 and they refused. Will never purchase from here again and I would recommend you don't either. Bad establishment with a bad attitude. read more

I just picked up my car, after spending almost $4,000, and I wasn't good for a complimentary car wash. my gas tank was in full when I took it in, and it's just under half a tank. I was told the mechanic drove it 25 miles to make sure it was good. The good thing was they got my car back to me in 4 days. Hopefully, I can drive it to my regular dealership in the future for my service needs, but I didn't want to ruin my engine, so I went nearby. read more

Great selection of cars and trucks! Jason greeted us shortly after we arrived.  He was interested, responsive and helpful from the get-go and that caring, attentive service was carried through the entire sales experience.  Way to go! With Jason's guidance we were able to quickly ascertain the layout of the lot and he graciously assisted us as we made our needs know and narrowed down the inventory we were interested in.  The lot is laid out neatly but beyond that his remarkable memory allowed him to point out cars that met our criteria. Then - no pressure!  We went and took a look at the vehicles and chose one.  We were welcomed back into the sales area right away.  We were greeted pleasantly by others working in the expansive office.  Their conversation among themselves, as a group, was pleasant, courteous and businesslike.  The atmosphere at this location is both welcoming and reassuring from a business standpoint. To make note of the business aspect during deliberations about the car we ended up choosing another vehicle.  No problem!  After the preliminary paperwork was done we were taken to see the financing director, who, also, was well mannered, professional, meticulous and clear in explaining the arrangements and alternatives before us. I was confident in the materials I had at hand and off we went with the keys to our new car with a happy wave from Jason and the expert staff at Mark Chevrolet. I showed up to test drive a traverse, Josh came out got me the keys, I went for a drive and everything went great. I told him the only hold up for me is all the scratches down the entire driver side. He told me they could fix it, and if they make it look good would I buy it. I told him it's a deal, we agreed to the current price and I waited to hear back about the touch up. Almost a week goes by before I hear back from Josh, he let's me know the car looks great and asked if I still wanted the car. I said yeah, he then let me know the price went up $3k even though we already agreed on a price. That car can sit on your lot for another few months, I'm not coming back to waste my time on people who will change the price with they feel. read more

This was one of the stops on our whirlwind hunt to replace our HHR. I had a rough time getting a good price from them on a higher mileaged car that would equal one of several cars I showed them on a printout from Kelly Blue Book (dot com) of used cars in the greater area that had less milage on them. I just found them unable to deal down to the price I eventually got someplace further out. They were friendly, they had some nice cars, they just did not come down to the price I showed them was out there. Bonus points for my salesman telling me flat out they could not give me a better deal because they did not have a 2011 HHR with that low of mileage and they weren't going to go lower than that price merely because their vehicle had 10,000 more miles than the one particular one I was showing them. They could equal the price but not beat it. Sorry but I will drive an hour then and get the vehicle with less than half the mileage then if its going to be the same price. I'm not bitter and like I said I did appreciate the honesty. Not enough to buy a more used car for the same price as a less used one. Still I give them a solid three for truth telling and general niceness. read more

I typically try not to post negative reviews and just let bad businesses be bad businesses but I feel totally robbed by this dealership. Here is my novel. Husband blew out a tire last week. Our car is still under warranty so we need to take it to a dealership. This place had good reviews so we figured it was a good place. They got us in first thing in the morning at 9am. Awesome! Found out not only our tire was blown, and couldn't be patched, but that what ever it was that went through our tire went through the wheel. Okay, no big deal, its just going to cost more than we thought. A lot more. $440 without taxes (which I was not told about the taxes). The woman says they didn't have the parts but they know where to get them and they'll have them over nighted. I thought that was really sweet. She failed to mention the overnight FEE they would charge me. We would have just waited for regular shipping if we knew about the $55 fee. I get the rental car and head out. I call the following day around noon and ask if our car has been fixed. I am told that the parts haven't come in and that they're still waiting for them but that they should be there by 4. No problem, they close at 6, plenty of time to get the car done. I call again at 2 to ask for a breakdown of the price but am forwarded to a voicemail. 530 rolls around and I decide to call them again. Mind you, we were told this would be overnighted at 9am the previous morning. The woman I'm working with is not available but they tell me the parts STILL are not in. I ask them to have the woman call me back because I left her a voicemail and had questions. We end up having to keep the rental car another day because I did not have enough time to get it down there to return it and grab our car with its spare on because I was told the car would be done at the end of the day. So there's ANOTHER $20 they've taken from us. PS- I still haven't had a return phone call from the woman I am working with. The following morning I call at 1030. The woman I am working with actually picks up the phone. And my parts STILL ARE NOT IN!!! $55 right there that was wasted. I am a little pissed. There is no mention of my voicemail that I left. Fine. I get a call at 1230 that went to voicemail saying the parts had just come in and that the tech was on his way out to lunch and it would be fixed when he got back. That is a BIG no no on their part. My car should have been done YESTERDAY MORNING which means they should have put another tech in charge of my car and gotten it done right then and there and put other cars on hold (I'm not being a brat, hubby used to work for a Chevrolet dealer and this is the company policy). So I call her back, again, directed to voicemail. At 430 I finally get the call that my car is ready. Still no mention of my two previous voicemails. Once I get to the dealer, the woman I was working with is nowhere to be found and I'm directed to the cashier to pay and return the rental. We were charged $530 for the whole ordeal. I am livid at this point and just pay it and leave. There was no apology for the parts being late or not returning my phone calls or even an offer to take off the overnight fee we were wrongly charged. I was quoted $440, was never called back to get my cost break down, and paid almost $100 MORE than what I was quoted. Our car was not washed or vacuumed out which was icing on the cake. That is just bad, dishonest, business in my opinion and we sure as hell aren't ever going back there. And we will be sure to tell everyone we know not to take their business there. read more

Worst dealership I've ever felt with . I will never forget how the staff lied about my purchase. I told them to cancel my deal on a 2018 the assured me that he shredded all the paperwork. I went to Greg Bell in Adrian they couldn't get GMAC to fiance because their records show that I had purchased a car from ART MOEHN. So I had to go back to ART MOEHN and the paperwork was waiting for me The same paperwork that they said was shredded. They are full of crap. If you conduct business with them your nuts. Service was ok . But they lied about 3 different things. I landed a contract with a couple of appointment complexes. So the joke is on them I'm going to be spending$200,000 in trucks. Lol read more

I am super disappointed with my first GM car. I bought a CERTIFIED Pre Owned 2012 Chevy traverse and have had nothing but problems in the 3 years and 60K miles.I am equally disappointed with Mark Chevrolet of Wayne Mi for taking almost 3 weeks to JUST tell me whats wrong with my car not even fix it. $2800+ worth of work after I have already put in over $1500 into this car over 3 years Ive had it. Oh and Im still waiting to hear from GM's "Case Manager". No one ever calls you back unless you scream and yell. Your answer is to not assist your customers with cost assistance. Your dealership offers a measly $300 off of a repair that I shouldn't need 3 years into this car. And we have reached the 1 month mark. Still have to pay on your loaner vehicle but you guys are the reason why I've have it. I am beyond disappointed with this company. I will be reaching out to the media. To Chris That is not true. Your dealership only since LAST Friday have tried to help and your resolution is not acceptable. Whether I purchased it from Mark Chevrolet or Victory Chevrolet is irrelevant. I purchased my first Chevy 3 years ago and was told it was certified. This does not feel certified. What I need is a vehicle that should have lasted at least five years. A dealership with so many cars, yet every car I drove was never cleaned out, and the salesman Kirk acted like he was going to sell them that way. One vehicle had chips in the window -and said 'but they are filled in' -it was $18k car and why would I buy it dirty and chipped front window ? Kirk messaged and called me all day about financing a vehicle and when I showed up with a ride to take it home -he had left for the day! Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. Would never return-and warn anyone who does go -not to deal with Kirk -who wasted so much of my time . Awful experience. I bought my 2007 Chevy Malibu Maxx from Mark Chevrolet's used lot about two years ago now and still remember my purchase experience there as being the most pleasant, worry-free experience at any dealership. I bought my car in early December, so there was plenty of snow on the ground when I was test driving and shopping. The staff was amazing at getting everything warmed up and iced off, and kept me baited with coffee. I looked at several different Malibus and Cobalts and was never pressured to go one route or another. Once I found one I had liked, they gave me a dealer plate and told me to drive it to work (45 miles from my house in Westland!) the next day and if I didn't like it, I could find another one and start the process over again. I fell in love with the car over the next day and they stayed open late to finish the deal, write up the paperwork and plate the vehicle on site. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Since that time, I still get notes from their service center and the used dealership to make sure everything with the GM Certified Chevy is going well. Great, family run dealership that really makes you comfortable. I'd definitely consider and recommend Mark Chevrolet to anyone in the market for a Chevy. read more

I tried this dealership for the first time due to it's proximity to my home. The staff were very friendly, however I really did not enjoy the experience overall. 1. The wait was terribly long- although I scheduled the appointment online and arrived early. (nearly 2 1/2 hours for an oil change) 2. Was handed keys for and led to the wrong vehicle. It took them an additional 30+ minutes to locate my vehicle. 3. Was quoted a price for a part that was nearly $80 more than another Chevy Dealership. I would return in a pinch, but this would not be my first choice based on this initial experience. read more

Had a car for work serviced here last week. Drove back to work about an hour away when a warning light comes on. Turns out the service people didn't reconnect some wires properly. I had to drive all the way back down to get it fixed. They are terrible at quoting time frames in which they can get work done and parts ordered. I called to check up on my vehicle and was put on hold for 15 minutes, then only to be told that I'll get a call back soon. 45 minutes later they called back. I recently used Mark Chevrolet to purchase a new car. I couldn't be happier. I was politely greeted as soon as I walked into the dealership. The salesman was very helpful, but not pushy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. They were willing to negotiate, and we came to a fair price pretty quickly. I will add that the new car manager is very professional and friendly. Frankly, I came here after a poor experience at a dealership closer to my house, but I am very glad I went to Mark Chevrolet. They took me seriously as a buyer and were willing to come to a fair price. I was also impressed with their selection. They had several models on the lot matching what I had in mind. I used their service department for other vehicles, and found their service department to be friendly, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. A nice 2018 Hatchback with only 18k on it. our experience there was the OPPOSITE of our experience at Mark. 53 days for a new transmission then they try to charge me 400 dollars for a little itty bitty scratch which a rock probably caused. I'm sure they made a killing off of Chevy for putting me in 3 rental cars and charging them for a scratch and charging them to fix my transmission which took 53 DAYS to fix. had my 2011 Chevy Cruze towed to mark Chevy to get some engine issues looked at got a call back a day later they wanted 4700 bucks to fix it I told them no thank you had my car towed to another shop got it done for half the cost and go to pick my car up my windshiekd is smashed to the point you can hardly see out if the passenger side of the windshield I have verified footage from the second shop that they received the car like that and I have veri with the tow driver that when he picked the car up the damage to the windshield was already there...so now I'm thinking there's no way a DEALERSHIP would damange my window like this and not say anything soni contact the dealership and ask what's going on I talk a guy named rich who was very professional about the issue he informs me a guy named Dylan handled my car while it was in there so I wait for a call back I talk to Dylan and he informs me they have cameras all over the shop and that he would check them because they to say they recieved the car like that so I wait and about an hour later he calls me back saying he seen the footage and they did indeed receive the car with a damaged windshield i ask if I can see the footage he then replies to give him a day or two well we wait two days then the weekend didn't hear anything so we call up there and they tell us Monday they will have the clips ready for us to view so my wife goes in Monday gets told the manager (bob) is busy at the moment and is told to wait so she waits a good 20-25 mins then asks again for bob and is then told bob has left for the day....so she asks for another manager and this other manager listens to her story then is told to WAIT ANOTHER 2-3 days for them to get footage ready again we went with the dealership because we wanted honest fair pricing/work done to our vehicle and this has been the worst shop I've ever had to deal with we are tired of getting the run around read more

I bought my 2005 Malibu Maxx here and was amazed by the level of service. After test-driving the car around Wayne, I asked if I could take it on the freeway since I have a 1.5-hour commute. It was getting late, so they gave me a plate, put 1/2 tank of gas in it and let me take it home overnight. Now it, wasn't without its bumps- the cruise control didn't work in the car (apparently it's not one of the 117 points in their 117-point checklist) and they had to have a part shipped in to fix it. It took two days to get the part and another day to install. In the meantime, they gave me a loaner car- an Impala, which is an upgrade from the Malibu- to drive. I didn't even ask for it- they just said "Well, you need a car, so drive one of ours while we're waiting." After ironing out the financing (which took a few hours because they applied to both GMAC and a credit union and picked the lower rate for me), I got my car back. There were a few things still to fix, but they let me schedule them at my convenience. Couple this with the fact that their prices were $1500 less than other dealers I visited, and you've got a dealership worth making a destination. read more

Ad's running on TV right now state "no one gives you more for your trade in" yet they low balled me over $3000 what Jack Demmer offered for the same car and were $3500 less than KBB fair trade in value. Inventory is limited. Just purchased a used car from Mark Chevrolet. They have a very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful staff. I drove down from Rochester, and there was no problem letting me take a test drive back up to my local shop for an inspection. They made the buying process very easy, especially dealing with my trade-in. They handled the title and registration for me, eliminating the need to stop at the Secretary of State office. After a great experience with Saturn of Plymouth, I decided to check out a different type of vehicle since Saturn would not be making cars any longer. I went to Mark Chevrolet to find unprofessional staff using foul language, smoking while touring me through the lot and long hours waiting for any sort of answer of approval while staff joked with each other and wit me about being too thin...nice, I know. This is just the start of a horrid experience! to make things worse the sales person did not know the features of the car he was selling me and then tried to charge me for standard features already included on the vehicle...after trying to over look all of this the finance dept tried to pull a fast one and finance me for a used car for a 72 month loan which would have put me at paying twice for the car!! So after feeling disrespected, hit on and ripped off i asked for my down payment back returned the vehicle and drove on over to Saturn of Plymouth had a brand new vehicle for less than what I would have paid for the used car, and was finished picking out, financing in 45 minutes!! That is service. I would never recommend anyone to mark Chevy especially working for a large marketing & sales firm myself...just bad business! read more

If I could give Mark Chevrolet (and GM) 0 stars, I would. My husband and I bought two vehicles within a few weeks of each other (about $40,000 each). They are now three years old and have had nothing but problems. We also bought the "extended warranty", which apparently covers nothing. Most recently, I was driving with my children in a severe storm when my windshield wipers just stopped working. And guess what? The warranty that they sold to me as a five year/100,000 mile extended warranty is now only a three year warranty. Totally my fault for not doing more research on the dealership and company. I brought my car here three times for service: twice for a free recall repair and another time for a routine oil change. The oil change was priced reasonably, and every time I showed up at my scheduled time, my car was taken in right away. They also never pressured me for "recommended repairs" during inspections, and I know my car is in good working order. If they are busy, the workers in the service department seem overwhelmed dealing with a line of customers and constant ringing phones. The communication is very prompt, including text messages and updates on when your vehicle is going to be finished. The waiting room is comfortable and the free Wi-Fi works well. read more

Arrived at "Mark" Chevrolet at 7:04 AM for an oil change. Bay doors open at 7:33 AM, the service area is small compared to other Chevrolet dealerships but the two bays were clean. The service advisory wasn't energetic, but professional ..... but who would be at 7 in the morning. First problem, the mechanics don't start till 8 AM, so you're wasting 30 minutes before your vehicle is even seen; just for an oil change "not good". Let's see what's the total time....8:15 AM, and I'm paying the cashier. 40 minutes. My overall experience was 8 out if 10. read more

I read some of the views prior to bringing my truck in for service and it made me a little nervous. My service advisor Denise was actually great. As planned i picked my truck up when it was finished and dropped off my car to get my recalls fixed and some additional work done. I missed the call when they called to talk about the vehicle by the time I was able to get to the phone they were closed. So i called Saturday morning as soon as they opened. The service operator that answered the phone told me that the service area only has so many people working and i would have to hold for a long time. I asked if the person could just call me back once they got a free minute. Instead she connected me to my service advisors voicemail. So i called back and asked her was my advisor even in today and she said no. I explained to her that i wanted to talk to someone today and she was rude and basicly told me i couldn't because it was no way to get whoever was in a message. read more
