Jack Demmer Ford provided stellar customer service today. Special thanks to Brett and Andy. I had a recall not long ago and they contacted me and offered to pickup and deliver the Sasquatch which was great because I had to work all day. I purchased the vehicle from them and continue to be impressed. I expect they will exceed your expectations also. read more

Why make appointments if you can't keep them? I made an appointment with the service department, took the day off work, and brought my truck in as scheduled, only to be told that they needed to keep my truck overnight. This was for a simple test, and I specifically made an appointment so the work could be done during the scheduled time. I cannot afford to take another day off work simply because the service department didn't plan or manage the appointment properly. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of concern from the service department. There was no sense that they understood or cared that I had taken an entire day off work and made arrangements based on the appointment they gave me. I lost an entire day because they were unwilling or unable to perform the test at the time I was scheduled. If you can't accommodate a customer during their scheduled appointment, don't make the appointment in the first place. read more

Took my newer Ford F150 there to have my front end componentry serviced. I had noise coming from front end; I had previously performed mechanic work on the front end of my trucks (ball joints ,bushings, etc) but this time I didnt have the time to do the work. I took it to Jack Demmer. Their young "technians" test drove the truck, didnt hear any noise, and said everything was fine. I knew it wasnt and I was livid. I then took my truck to Bill Brown Ford in Livonia, and they diagnosed worn front end componentry. they said its lucky you brought it to us when you did.....I was absolutely furious when they told me this.....Jack Demmer Ford employs absolute buffoons....please do not take your vehicle there. When front end components fail you can be left in a potentially serious safety situation.....absolute incompetence at Jack Demmer Ford. read more

so I brung my van there on a Friday and didn't get it back for over a whole ten days. Was drastically over charged, anti theft system had tripped up on my vehicle, was told it was going to be over 11hundred to fix, I said I only had 9 he quickly said o we'll take that. just sounded kinda fishy. wonder if I said I only had six would they have taken that, maybe even 4 or 5. It's like I was charged so much over that they were fine with whatever. you've been warned they will over charge tf out of you. But hey everybody gotta eat right.. read more

On June 7, 2023 I got a voicemail from the collision shop at Jack Demmer Ford to just bring my car in on June 27 and they would have a free loaner available. So today being June 27 I took my car in half hour before my appointment and I was lied to by the receptionist saying that we have left you several voicemail messages since then that you needed to return so that we could be sure you still wanted the loaner. Why would I make an appointment in the first place wait three weeks for a loaner car and then not want the loaner car??? They even said that my voicemail box was full, which is also a lie !! I despise liars and piss poor customer service!! read more

I had a very positive buying experience here with Derrick Young as my salesperson. I leased a 25MY Escape. He was patient with me as I decided which vehicle I wanted and was easy to do business with. The Finance Manager was efficient and did not pressure me to purchase additional products/coverage. I feel that I received fair trade in value for my Fusion. I highly recommend getting your next Ford vehicle at Jack Demmer! read more

Jason Wright worked with me (former MI mom now living in DC area) set up a lease for my MSU student (still living in MI). He answered my MANY questions promptly, secured all the rebates/offers for a college student and spent a lot of time with my daughter explaining everything at delivery. I'm extremely grateful for his outstanding service and would highly recommend. read more

Monday afternoon: I inquired about the cost to replace ... - Four spark plugs - Upper & lower radiator hoses - Flush & fill the cooling system They replied promptly via text that someone would respond shortly. No reply on Monday. Tuesday evening ... no reply all day. I sent a reply/reminder. Wednesday, late morning. Crickets. I send another reminder and receive an apology and promise that someone will respond soon. Wednesday, 3:40 ... and incomplete reply that ignores the radiator hose replacements, explaining that a senior tech will have to look at the hoses to quote a replacement price. Huh??? Is this simple task not listed in the std hours listing? Thursday afternoon ... they finally quote the requested labor and parts at $1,000. Not happy that their responses that their responses have been both tardy and incomplete. The price seems quite high. I cross-shop an independent shop - Jurgen's has good reviews; $450. read more

Beware of the Bait and Switch. The dealership advertised a vehicle for one price on both its website and autotrader.com. I agreed to that price with salesman, Bill English. After a few days of nonresponsiveness (that should have been a sign), I decided to follow up for the next steps. Bill ran my credit, which is over an 800, then changed the price! He said, "oh that sale price was for A-Plan employees and relatives. Read the fine print." Wow. So guess what. I did. And nowhere on AutoTrader nor the website does it explicitly require that. Not cool. If you make the mistake of going to this dealership, learn from me, and get EVERYTHING in writing before letting them hard-hit your credit. read more

Jack Demmer Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Wayne, Michigan

I bought my car in for service because my car was jerking, bucking and pulling like it wanted to cut off. I approach a service man name Tom Briggs. I went to explain my situation with my car and immediately said to me we can't look at it until February. Do you have a appointment. I said no this happened yesterday. He started again to say we can't see it until February. I then said will you be able to tell me at least what is wrong and if you can't fix it I understood but will you be able to diagnose it. He stated NO!!! At this time I lift with my car to find another dealership. My car engine light came on and cut off. I return back to him and the dealership and said my car shut off and the engine light came on. Now the car is unsafe. He stated again I can't see it until February. I said you telling me you can't scan it to tell me what is wrong and why you so rude talking. And what did you not talk rude to those 2 guys in here. He then stated we can scan it in a couple of days. Then we can't see it until February. I said fine then let it sit until February a whole month away before I know what's wrong. Now I have to pay for a rental for a whole month which will cost my 1500 dollars until February LUCKY ME!!!! I am 57 year old female and have been driving since 15 years old and first car in 1989. I have never been pushed aside and felt like garbage. All I want is to drive safely not feel unsafe. read more

Always do your research! They will only show you what they have to and only if they have to. They'll act like they want to help you but in reality will do nothing. The type of people who walk away to talk to a wall then say sorry hands are tied. 0/10 Sold me a Ford Focus with a transmission they themselves can't even find and have been on back order for how long. But still will sell you the car and say it's reliable. It's one thing to have to replace a part but to sell a car that doesn't have a replacement..... shady read more

My Mustang needed the airbag replacement so I took it to Jack Demmer Ford. What a HUGE MISTAKE! My car was in nearly show conditions with no door dings or damage. These KNUCKLEHEADS smashed my drivers door against another car, chipping the paint off of a one inch long area of the door edge. When I brought it to Asst Service Manager Matt Belford's attention, he pretty much called me a liar and said NOTHING would be done to repair it! He claimed I should have done a "walk around" before signing off on the repair and leaving the dealership. So I guess everyone can prepare to have their car damaged and better inspect the vehicle from top to bottom, knowing the service department WILL do damage and deny, deny, deny! Be forewarned, expect damage and denials, and a refusal to make it right from Matt Belford. He's a huge A-HOLE! read more

Funny how these guys treat you AFTER HAVING JUST LEASED A NEW CAR. Had a recall on my leased vehicle, which caused a slight panic. Furthermore, my FordPass was disconnect so I was having issues with that too. As such, I reached out to the dealer I had leased it through: He reads the message.... No response.. I message him again.. He reads it, and again no response. Got on his ass about it and he finally responds. He says I can call him tomorrow to walk through the recall and app issues. The day comes and I shoot him a text before I call him. An hour and a half passes and I look at the text: He opened it and again didn't respond. What an absolute joke. Mark lands the sale and THAT is all that matters. A good salesman nutures his relationships and represents the Ford brand well. He doesn't. Go buy a car somewhere else. read more

I ordered a truck and put a 100$ deposit down then waited 5 months for the truck, I received an email saying my truck was delivered but my salesman Mark Movsesian said he had no idea it had been delivered or where it was. Well, I found it before he did, driving by the dealership I saw it parked outside the body shop DAMAGED!!! Needless to say, I did not want the truck that had been damaged. I ended up ordering a truck from a different much more trustworthy Ford dealership. I have asked Mark Movsesian several times for a refund on my 100$ deposit and have yet to receive it or hear back from anyone about it. I will not be returning or referring anyone to Jack Demmer Ford. read more

We bought a preowned Chevy from here. It was almost new, a 2017 with 19k miles. Our salesperson was Lori. Boy was she fun from the first phone call. She was very helpful. I found the car I wanted on a national website and went to test drive it the same day. I bought the car. Lori even drove the car back to my house for me since I had my other car. The car I bought was already on sale but I thought I would negotiate and ask for a lower price. They meet me halfway on the price since it had only been there a few days. I was satisfied! Lori was great. She is friendly and personal. I did have a problem with the car the first weekend. I called Lori. She scheduled a service appointment. I went to the service department where I was met with people that didn't look to happy about their day or job. They sent me to the Chevy dealer down the street since they didn't have the equipment to diagnose the problem. The other dealership was great and it was only a minor spark plug and coil replacement and I was on my way. All in all my experience was good but I question if it would be good if I had to get routine maintenance in the service department every few months. read more

Every aspect of my car-buying experience was a failure. But the icing on the cake was reaching out to the Manager, playing phone tag once, and never getting a call back. I never got a form to fill out expreessing my dissatisfaction, so I'm doing it here. After my terrible experience with GM, I switched to Ford, and it appears for my wife's next car we need a new Ford dealer. Or, my God, a Honda dealer. What has become of our American car dealers? :( read more

Pros: Mark M aka "New Mark" is awesome. Cons: Sadly, everything else. Although new Mark is a great salesman the rest of the staff here are pretty poor on the customer service end. After choosing to purchase a car, they bring you to their financial person who puts you through a very high pressure sales pitch to get the extended warranty while also making it sound like you're about to purchase an extremely unreliable piece of junk. One of her favorite lines is saying that you're driving around with a laptop under your hood and one small mistake on the road can make all that break down. Who wants to buy a Ford if that's what their own people are telling you? I'd rather deal with someone authentic and honest than have to sit a half hour through her dross. Tell me wacky things like the laptop line above and I won't believe a word you say about what I really need or not. It's obvious you're just after the commission. But treat me like you would want to be treated and let me know - honestly - what is recommended and what we can skip - and I'll come away feeling much more secure and happy about my purchase. Next up: Service Department. Didn't even make it beyond getting an appointment because they treat you like an idiot as soon as you ask them to repeat something or ask for clarification. Word to the wise: People don't like it when you treat them that way. There's plenty of other Ford Service departments out there to go to so I'm fine with taking my business elsewhere. And so I am. Don't go here unless you like to sit for a hard sell on all the extended warraanties you may/may not need and don't bother with the service department either - it's clear they don't care about your business. read more

We have always had a great experience working with Duane Laidlaw at Jack Demmer Ford in Wayne! He is very personable, knowledgeable about the vehicles and ALWAYS returns my calls if he is with a customer when I call. He has never tried to push me into a vehicle I don't want, but quite the opposite! He answers all of our questions thoroughly and clearly explains any offers we may qualify for in order to help us make our decision. Duane is a really nice guy and we will be working with him again! Thank you! read more

While they may hold the record for longest construction project since the Great Wall of China, the staff is still excellent. Wonder what the facelift will look like when they unveil it in 2025. Duane Laidlaw was a pleasure to deal with and found me a specifically-equiped car in the color I wanted in two days. I arrived for delivery and he had the paperwork ready and then spent an hour educating me on the car's features and operating the Sync entertainment and navigation system. Then, he introduced me to the service advisers back in the work area, and walked me to the parts counter to make sure I knew where it was. Couldn't ask for a better experience. read more

I worked with Al Rabin and what a pleasure that was! I thought i wanted a car less expensive to save on a monthly bill so i wanted to see the Focus coming from an Edge which i loved. He ablidged. brought the Focus and while i was driving had pulled up some info on a new Edge. He knew i wouldn't like the car and he was prepared to find another Edge at a better price than i had already been paying. Needless to say i was amazed at his insight and what he did for me. I have just purchased a 2013 Ford Focust ST at Jack Demmer Ford, and I LOVE it! On Wednesday, July 10th, I test drove a black 2013 Ford Focust ST equipped the way I wanted that Demmer happened to have on the lot. The test drive experience was great, and my salesman Bob Pugh was able to locate a 2013 Ford Focus ST in the paint color I wanted, Tangerine Scream Tri-coat Metallic, at nearby Bill Brown Ford. Demmer had my car at their dealership the next day, Thursday, July 11th, and said that I could pick it up that evening. Due to schedule conflicts, I didn't actually pick up the car until Monday, July 15th, and there were zero issues when I got my new car. I am very pleased with my sales experience at Jack Demmer Ford. The entire process was smooth, painless, and trouble-free. I WILL go back to Demmer for all my servicing needs, and for my future car purchases. read more

Fast service and friendly staff! They washed my car for me after they were finished making the repairs. I was not expecting that!!

I have been going to this dealership for a long time, either for a buy or a lease, and dealt with both sales and service department. My experience has been more pleasant than not - and that is a pretty good assessment for someone who has a 12-14 year old relationship with this dealership. My sales guy always has been Mark Movsesian and he has been always great. He works with you to find the best fit for your needs and also is ready to get you the car you want even if it means that he has to get it from another dealership. All personnel are professional and organized, and even though I have dealt with two other dealerships within a radius of 10-15 miles, i will keep comig back to Jack Demmer read more

The Jack Demmer Ford service department has the worst service in the tri-county area. My F150 has been in the shop for 3-days to do an oil change, tire rotation and look into a noise in the rear end. Three days later and no call. I took it upon myself to call for an update and they said their is bad news.....we need it until the following week because they have nobody to look at it. So im suppose to be without my truck for over a week to investigate a noise?! What a joke. I will take my business to a dealership that knows how to service vehicles in a timely manor. Terrible service!! read more

They sold me a car with the wrong VIN. The manager had no intention of even rectifying the issue because I had traded in the car three months after I purchased it. The car they sold me was in a major accident, which was the reason why they sold me the car with a fictitious CarFax report with a different VIN number. read more

We have purchased and or leased 10 vehicles from Jack Demmer. We have always purchased the premium warranty. Called Monday, 01/22/2018, with a problem on my 2013 Escape. Stalling at lights. Was told it didn't matter what kind of warranty I had, they couldn't even "think" about looking at the car before Monday, 01/29/2018 so it would be waste of my time to bring it over, just "be careful". Seriously, Cody this is not a good way to keep the customer. I have called the service manager, left a message Monday afternoon and have not heard back. Called Atchinson, right after I spoke to Cody, spoke to Nick, dropped car off this morning, they had my rental ready to go including warmed up!!! I have let all family and friends know that we have referred to Demmer what happened and the excellent customer service I have so far received at Atchinson. I will never darken Demmers door again. read more

Waste of a day. Dropped 2 month old vehicle to find out why the remote start process would quit before I got key in ignition. I was told it would be about a while as many cars were ahead of me. I thought I had a 9:00 am appointment but ??? I asked write up advisor for a ride home. I waited over an hour before wandering back to service area to find the shuttle parked outside then learned that driver was out in lot retrieving cars for service?? Antoine was on his cell when I threw up my arms wanting help. Later in day I called for update to learn tech could not duplicate my issue, of course not, they never can. I asked for a ride back to pick up my car as I had a late day dental appointment. An hour later the shuttle still hadn't arrived, I live 3 miles from dealership so I called and Antoine said he'd send him in a minute. Another hour passed before shuttle arrived. I cancelled my dental appointment because I never would have made it driving through rush hour. Not very happy with the lack of follow up on Antoine's part read more
