They call me after running a diagnostic and said that my upper intake gasket needs to be replaced and that it will cost me an extra $550 on top of the estimated $400 for the speaker and flasher. I asked why it needs to be replaced. All they came up with, is that my car has 134,000 miles on it, and things eventually wear out. I was pretty skeptikal about that, cause they were being a bit pushy to get it done. I needed a better explanation. So, I called Tuffy auto (that's my next review) and they extimated the cost of the repairs...MUCH MUCH lower. So, I called back and didn't have them do any work on my car. Long story short, after having Tuffy look at the upper and lower gasket, they said it wasn't leaking. There's nothing wrong with it, why replace it? They also mentnioned the crooks at the dealership work on comission, so they need to 'create work' in order for the customer to spend money there. That Tuffy trip saved me over $700! Never going to Frsard again!

They also accommodated me with help on paying for my rental car by reducing my deductible. They were always very friendly to me (even when I got a little cranky) on the phone. I do believe it was out of their control in the length of time it took to get the parts for repair but I still think it was way too long.

We had his car towed to CC since they were the nearest body shop. From the first conversation about the accident and insurance claim process, these guys were great. Quick with responses, detailed in the information they shared with us & helpful with regards to our interactions with our insurance company. At the end of the day, our insurer totaled the car so we didn't end up having Cass Collision do any repairs but based on how we were dealt with I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

They do not offer free loaners and work through hertz and you have to pay 5 percent of your estimate to go towards the loaner if your estimate goes over $3k -none of which was explained upon arrival nor is there any paperwork to back up the agreement. They had my car for three weeks past their deadline (which added a significant amount to the rental) and when I was told it was ready for pick up, my front bumper was a completely different color. When speaking to the owner (Brad) about the issue, his response was a snarky "what do you want me to do about it?" He told me someone would call the next day to follow up. Henry called the next day and asked what the issue was, and after telling him the paint was the wrong color his response was "yeah, it does look worse in the daylight than it did last night." They made the correction, or attempted to (my car is still not the proper color) and informed me it was all set. After picking up my vehicle I found the headlights were never aligned, my wiper fluid lines are hooked up backwards (front fluid and back wiper activated and back fluid when front wiper blades are activated), pins that connect the trim to the frame were not placed, bolts were tightened too much on plastic pieces in the engine bay so it is now cracked, and they drained the coolant and wiper fluid reservoirs without refilling them so my car has been without coolant for weeks. They definitely do not call back when promised or give you any updates. Please, avoid at all costs!!!!

But​​ just the…read morelittle annoying things: door creased, rust appearing out of the blue, power window died (stuck open, in January) parking lot hit and disappeared, rust proofing​​​​​​​​​​ (​yes​​ ​Gloria​, ​​a ​few ​​​​​folks ​still ​​do ​that, but a great improvement over the tar-based stuff of the ​past) headlights just went on strike (No Alan, you don't need two $500.00 headlight replacements, it's a switch and corroded wiring). Folks there always nice, Gary grew up in a neighborhood on the east side of Detroit (like me) so it's like "can you top this story from back in the day"? I read the vile one star reviews and check other reviews by the same​ ​​authors​. Mostly those folks have problems with just about everybody. My insurance sent me here after I had been rear ended, all seemed good at first, they got my car in…read morequick. I had asked them to do an alignment on it because it wasn't steering properly and it's a brand new car with under 5k miles so I obviously wanted it straightened out. They said they would look at it and get it fixed up. I dropped it off on a Monday morning and on Friday they were calling me telling me the car was still missing a piece but they wanted me to pick it up anyway (yeah I'm not picking up an incomplete car just to fit their time quotas). They suddenly had the back ordered part it was missing a few minutes later and were able to complete it so I went and picked it up that Friday. The alignment was still off from first driving it away but I decided to have my dealership fix it when i went in for an oil change a few weeks later figuring they'd do a better job anyway. At the dealer I was told that my car still had a bent axel arm from the accident, something that them running an alignment immediately told them. So my question is did Minsers completely miss the $1700 of damage this was or did they find it and decide it wasn't important enough to fix (I'm not sure which is worse). I then called my insurance company and they told me I had to take my car back to Minsers despite my objections. I took the car back the day after the dealer found the damage and was told they would get it fixed up. After I had dropped it off I got a call from them informing me there were allegedly scratches on my wheel insinuating I had further damaged the vehicle not related to the accident. I'm not sure what was going on with that or what they were trying to pull but I obviously had not damaged my vehicle and the call ended with that. I got my car back today and it appears to be fixed and driving like new again which I appreciate (and expect). I looked at all of my wheels and there are no scratches to be found which is interesting to me as there we're supposed "fresh" scratches on a wheel. All in all yes my car is now fixed after bringing it to them twice. They seemed to use genuine GM parts which is also a positive. Although I felt as if they were trying to take advantage of me and possibly scam me due to me being a young woman and not knowledgeable about cars. Pictures to show that the damage wasn't even that extreme.

A place you can trust!!!…read more I unfortunately wrecked my car pretty bad a few years ago and took it here for repair. It was in bad shape and they did a wonderful job of putting it back together. Someone keyed my car and another person sideswiped it and left some marks on each side of the car. I took it in for a face lift today and it looks brand new again. The owner is very nice and even had my car cleaned up for me when I came to pick it up. I would recommend this place to anyone.
