I had been self conscious about my smile for some time, and after moving to SB, I decided I wanted to do something about it. After a visit to *another* local ortho office, I didn't think I could afford braces at. all. But while in an awesome "make positive changes" phase of life, I happen to find that Costco offers discounts through Delta Dental. AND Delta Dental covers adult orthodontic care. AND Wright & Feusier strive to care for their community, so they accept Delta Dental. I called to confirm and got a free consultation appointment for the next week. After talking with Deb and Dr. Feusier, I learned about what their goals were (straighter teeth, fix narrowing and crowding, etc), limitations (need metal braces on bottom because of natural overbite, could not remedy overbite entirely because I'm naturally missing an incisor), and the cost associated. They said i could take the cost details home and talk it over with my partner (2600 + 500 for retainers) and projected one month for a visit if I wish to get started. Well, the projected cost was ONE FOURTH that suggested by another local place AND they happen to have a cancellation two days later, so I decided to go for it!! 16 months of braces was freaking awesome through them. I felt communicated with, knew what was asked of me to get the best smile possible, and I absolutely adore the staff of this office. I would GLADLY encourage any child, teenager, adult, or senior to work with Wright & Feusier!!!! Getting braces through them have made me more confident, proud of myself for making a positive change, and so excited to suggest them to my friends.

Then my top teeth started shifting and caving in a bit, and I knew it was time. I was referred to Dr. Ferris by friends who absolutely raved about him. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical going in--I assumed they'd recommend pulling the tooth like others had suggested. But instead, he recommended Invisalign. It honestly sounded too good to be true, but I decided to go for it. Now, I have a straight smile--no shark tooth--and while I thought I was happy with my smile before, I had no idea how much better it could be. My teeth are straighter than I ever imagined, and I truly couldn't be happier with the results. What really stood out, though, was the entire experience. Dr. Ferris has clearly created something special with his team. From the moment you walk in, the energy is different--welcoming, upbeat, and genuinely positive. Every single person I interacted with was not only professional, but truly kind and engaging. You never feel rushed, you feel taken care of. The level of customer service is exceptional. They remember you, they communicate clearly, they make the process easy, and somehow turn what you'd normally expect to be a purely clinical, in-and-out appointment into something genuinely enjoyable. It's organized, efficient, and still feels warm and personal--which is a rare combination. The office itself is beautiful--clean, modern, almost spa-like--but it's really the people that make it stand out. Dr. Swenson is one of the nicest people I have ever met so it pains me to write this review. I do…read morenot want other families to go through what we have been through at this office. My son finally got his braces off. Three years after getting them on and a whole year delayed. There were numerous problems and mistakes made. Some by my son for not following protocol 100% but mostly the assistants putting brackets on incorrectly, wires not being cut short enough cutting into his cheek, and going months before the next visit before figuring out that bands were not in the right place. Not to mention that when my son had emergencies it was a challenge to get an appointment. Maybe they double or triple book in order to close the office on Fridays. Sometimes waiting over a week before they could get him in. My son was so happy to get his braces off only to be greatly disappointed with the work. His teeth are straight. However, now he has a noticeable flare in his upper teeth which he did not have before. I was unhappy with the service of mainly the orthodontic assistants and inability to get appointments easily from the get go and had tried to switch him to another orthodontist early on in the treatment but was unable to do so. The new orthodontist did not want to do any work on someone who already started treatment Needless to say, I did not send my second child to this office. She instead went to Dr. Thatcher almost 2 years after my son started his treatment. She finished her orthodontic treatment before my son, granted, her case was much easier, with fantastic results constantly receiving compliments from everyone on her beautiful teeth. We plan to consult with Dr. Thatcher to see if she can correct my son's flared upper teeth. It's disappointing to have to now spend money and time on two orthodontic treatment rounds.

All three of my daughters are now patients as well, and the fact that no one complains when it's time for an appointment speaks volumes. My daughters all agree that Dr. Swenson is "nice and funny", and the staff is great as well. I actually look forward to my daughters' appointments because I enjoy seeing everyone again - such a friendly office! Every time we've had an issue come up (i.e. the dog got a retainer AGAIN) I've been able to call and get my daughter in right away. Highly recommend Dr. Swenson and his team!
