The steak tips are amazing but the are skimp

I lived in Belmont for 3 years now and I just started ordering from this place this year 2023. Not only is there a Pizza prices better than any other pizza shop on the street, it's the best tasting one. The sauce is so delicious, the consistency of the crust is amazing. I would like to try more items from this place but I can't get over the pizza.

Quick service on a Friday night! Got a buffalo chicken and margarita pizza both of which had fresh toppings and were made super quickly. The crust was excellent. Two 10 inch pizzas for two was the perfect size and great prices!

mark and toni's has had a fantastic redo. i love the new interior with wine bar and seating. the pizza is fantastic and so is the wine. today i received tiramisu on the house for being their first customer of the day! it was full of flavor as everything they serve is. i highly recommend the bbq chicken pizza and rosé prosecco.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Started exploring more pizza spots again. Close to home was this little gem. Another brick oven za maker that knows how not to burn them. Amazing flavor on the buff chicken pie. The margarita was just a margarita nothing special but also didn't disappoint. The price was also great especially considering what you can pay elsewhere for the same type of pizza.

The house dressing is killer and I love using it to dip the souvlaki or other sandwiches.

So glad we tried this place for the very first time and added on our list of favorites. Oh. Minor point but noteworthy, their payment system gives you this convenient option of paying by handing your credit card as well as scanning the QR code on the receipt to pay online. Just saying, don't think we usually see this elsewhere in the Boston areas. (Can't find the pictures for the time being but will be sure to post them soon!)

I am not sure which aspect was more enjoyable, but the two together made our dinner quite memorable. The location in downtown Watertown enhanced the experience as the cozy, vintage setting in the town- center strip exuded the feeling of a small local family restaurant. We made a reservation and this is recommended since the dining room offers limited capacity. Parking was a little tricky but we found a spot on the street across from the diner. Beware that you might have to exercise a bit of patience in this regard. Because of our reservation, we were seated right away. Our server attended to us quickly and did a great job of looking after us all night. My colleague, who had been to this place a few times prior to this, suggested that we start with Ida's Meatballs. It was presented as four decent-sized pieces and they were not only plentiful in portion, but also were quite tasty. For his main, he had the Short Rib Ravioli. The pasta was stuffed quite full with short rib meat. He invited me to try a bite and I thought it was excellent. I chose the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, one of my favorites on American Italian menus. It was terrific having just the right amount of kick. We topped off the meal with dessert. He had tried the Tiramisu before and insisted that I share at least a couple of bites. It was outstanding. I decided on a finisher of my own, however, with the Affogato. It was quite lovely with quality ice cream and good coffee. It provided a right-sized dessert portion for me. Overall, the bill for the two of us that included the food, a glass of wine for me (a lovely Chianti), tax and tip was close to $60 per person. For the quality of the fare, I was not unhappy with this value. I'll look forward to the chance to try this place again. My colleague tells me it is a go-to for him when he's in the area, so I'm sure I'll have another chance to visit.

Dishes from best to worst: Pork Belly: absolutely would order again, very tender and delicious - one of the top pork bellies I can recall Shrimp: the shrimp was tasty, and the oil was delicious with the bread Octopus: really good, nice and crispy and not rubbery Potatoes: crispy and aioli was good, but nothing super special Cod: cod balls were fine, the other customer enjoyed them but personally not my favorite (probably more of a preference thing) Steak: Was a bit disappointed with the steak, was just strips of beef with some sauce Drinks: Sangria: we ordered one to share and the bartender split into two for us without us having to ask, was a refreshing drink Summary: 4/5 overall the food was very good with one or two semi-misses

Even if you don't end up liking the dish, the tapas size is small so you're not losing too much. And most importantly, most of the dishes I tried had garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil as the predominant flavor profile. The perfect seasoning profile for a non-adventurous eater! For the more adventurous eaters, I'd highly recommend sampling from their charcuterie and cheese selection. I enjoyed trying different combinations of cheese and meat with the bread to see which flavor profile was my favorite (also a good activity for Remy's friend from Ratatouille). As other reviewers mentioned, you can try a lot of dishes but the tables aren't that big so you have to be a little bit strategic if you want to dip the bread in the leftover sauces.
