Staff was quick to sling drinks, plenty of swag available, excellent selection of grab and go beer if in a hurry. Very casual and cool atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Great for groups, reserve for private events, come down for trivia in Wednesdays or keep an eye on their calendar for other events. Building had been beautifully redone and just a chill vibe with some light music in the background that doesn't overpower your conversation. Stop in and check it out next time you are in Bristol!!

The taproom here is huge - acoustics can be a little tricky if they have live music, so you may want to check their events page ahead of time if you want to be able to hear your company clearly. That said, I've seen some great local artists here - everything from a 4 person DMB cover band to a solo acoustic performer with an angelic voice. A+ for putting effort into the programming! The beer list is quite long. I love their sours when they have them on top, which isn't always but a good portion of the time. Other than sours their beers are not my most favorite in the world, but still yummy with lots of variety to taste around. It's a great spot to hang out with quirky decor, high ceilings, and lots of events.

This is the first time in years we've been kicked out of one. We drove there from Boston today for the first time, and heard great things about the place and the farmers' market. As we entered the gate, a banner with a picture of dogs was displayed. We drove on the grass and parked at the rear of the farmers' market. We unloaded our dogs. As we walked through the rear corner of the market, the first vendor sold dog treats and toys. We were browsing around, I was minding the dogs while my wife was looking at vegetables. The owner came over and was very rude and condescending, telling me they do not allow dogs, and proceeded to insist that I was a moron for not seeing a sign that said no dogs allowed. However, all I could see was the rear of the sign, and we had not entered the market that way. We promptly left as asked, again, at their place, their rules. I don't have an issue with that; my problem was with the delivery of the message. My wife and I could have sworn that when we looked at the website months ago, we saw that they welcome dogs, but after revisiting the FAQ page, it is clear that they do not. Our apologies for making the mistake.

Ferrys stopped service. I called and rescheduled for this upcoming weekend. I was told I had to pay in full because I was rescheduling and did a room change. I didn't think anything of it and agreed. My husband is now sick with Covid. I called today and spoke with Megan (Supervisor) who said we cannot reschedule because I paid in full. I had no choice last week but to pay in full. I was not asking for a refund simply a reschedule. I have never experienced such terrible service.

We didn't stay overnight at the hotel, they required a 2 night stay and we were only there for 1 night. It was an outdoor wedding, in the waterfront pavilion right next to the water. The ceremony and the dinner took place at the same location. It was a colder June day, so they had to close up the canopy, with these transparent shades. I recommend heated outdoor lamps which some outdoor dining places use in weathers like this! The outdoor canopy area does not have a bathroom for wedding goers and I believe that was one of the biggest cons, because if it rained (which it didn't), we would all have to go in the water (jk) or the nearest bathroom which was located a walk away - back into one of the buildings, around a 5 min walk. I believe they had exact number of seats during the ceremony, short walk for the bride to walk up to the podium. Pretty cute, but tightly seated. I remember lamb chops (which I didn't get to try!) and a burger bar, along with the charcuterie board contents for the cocktail hour. Burger bar was very creative. We had an open bar throughout the whole ceremony.

It's consistently very good, even though we often trek from our hometown to Bristol, Newport, or Providence for dining. Portsmouth has slim pickings when it comes to quality restaurants--15 Point and Fieldstone's only come to mind. Rocco's used to be on that list, but new ownership makes it a bit of a question mark right now. This place always delivers: a solid menu with a strong emphasis on seafood, a long cocktail list with prices still reasonable for the area ($12-$14), and reliably good service. Portions are generous and the food is consistently well prepared. We split the bacon-wrapped scallops to start, then had duck and a seafood pasta for entrées--both excellent. Highly recommended. And when the weather cooperates, the outdoor dining right on the water is a real bonus.

We fell in love with her, the house, everything including the murder-by-mail story behind the house from the 1800s. About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. Although the price fluctuates slightly during the promotion period, it's currently $59 and normally comes with roasted potatoes & green beans. However, this time I asked if any other sides were available and was told I could have a salad instead. I chose the Caesar salad, which was cold, crisp, perfectly dressed and absolutely delicious. The lobster itself was incredible... sweet, tender and stuffed with lobster tail meat and a buttery Ritz cracker topping. I had enough leftover for 2 additional meals at home. I also enjoyed a nice Riesling with my tablemates, and indulged in a DIY Affogato for dessert; I ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream and an Espresso and voila! Our server was outstanding and the views, inside and out, were gorgeous. Looking forward to my next visit.
