My only gripe is there was no place to put the extra tables we were not using, so they were constantly visible. I was a little overwhelmed by all the" rules" of the place, but understandably so. That part stressed me out. I would definately rent again but a 2 day rental instead so I could take my time cleaning up and completely enjoy the party without worrying about the time.

We fell in love with her, the house, everything including the murder-by-mail story behind the house from the 1800s. About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. First off, the space is very accessible right on Mendon Road. It's a newer space owned by the same people that own Angelo's next door. There is good natural lighting, ample parking outdoors, TVs, and a full bar inside the event area. Also, since it's a newer build, the technology is updated with a sound system and enough outlets to charge different devices. The space itself is in the the same building as Angelo's, and separated by a wall from the Angelo's dining room, but the food is catered by the same kitchen. When walking in, there's a small area to the right with bathrooms and coat closet/storage. To the left is where the main event space is located, along with the bar inside. We were planning the shower out of state, so a lot of the communication with the owners was through email and phone. Working with the owners was super easy and they were very prompt in answering questions leading up to the day. The shower was on a Saturday morning, and the owners were kind enough to give us the space the night before to set up and bring in items so there was that much less to do in the morning. I felt they were so nice with accommodating all our requests from food, to utilization of space, to even last minute things that we didn't know we needed. Day of, they had enough staff on hand to set up tables and any other requests that we needed. They provided all the linen and utensils, as well as servers to bring the food out (since we did a buffet) and then later clean up. They do not allow outside caterers for food, but do allow outside dessert. For the amount of people we had, there was seating for everyone, plus tables for gifts/food/dessert and still some open area to get some games and activities going. We didn't need a bartender since it was a dry event, but as part of the rental, we were given unlimited soft drinks and water (woot!) Overall - really happy with the service and the space accommodations. I think it can serve a number of different types of events and it's a great location from an access standpoint. Very unprofessional since day 1…read more We had an appointment to check the place out and the owner nabely did not pay us much attention because she was "busy", and she did this at every appointment but we decided to go with the place because it was beautiful and had everything we needed. So we thought. we Went with the smallest package because I wanted to decorate myself. she said " your wedding is destined to fail" because I didn't wanna pay the extra $4000 just for her to decorate?? she said the oven came with the hall Then days before my wedding she told me the racks in the oven were gone because someone else rented them. So we had to Buy some. months before the wedding I told her in great description what tables i Wanted to use and how I want them set up. Day of the wedding comes along and she has the completely wrong tables out which messes up my whole seating chart so I had to have my family run around and move all the tables around, decorate and coordinate with the caterer. Thankfully they got it all done in time. Some things were messed up because they didn't have enough time due to the tables. my bridesmaid had to get dressed in the bridal sweet because she was nice enough to help set Up and the bridal sweet had a window wide open and Everyone could see her dressing if they walked by. ??? day of coordinator/owner Jason was on point the whole wedding made sure I had what I needed but at the end of the night when my family was done cleaning up he said " okay now get the fuck out my building". i would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.
