This place looks very similar to the other places nearby, so why here?
For one, we were not hawked at to come here, nor surrounded and ushered inside. It was just very mellow. Also, the view of the beach and the fishing boats is great.
But what I liked most was how we brought are own live seafood that we bought from a fishing boat, and the woman who ran the place offered to cook it, and serve it as a family style feast for only $10 US. And it included beans, rice, tortillas, chips, and salsa. Very fair.
She also cooked up food from the kitchen for other tables and it all looked good. And whatever seafood a guest requested was purchased from the fishing boats by her son.
It was a great, unpressured, friendly experience. read more
