The service here is GREAT! Me and my boyfriend were walking around trying to find a place to eat, and all the other restaurants were trying to get us in to eat to their spot but when we came across this one, the lady was nice and didn't pressure us at all. Which my boyfriend liked a lot so we decided to give it a try and WOW. We don't regret it. The food is amazing. Aguachiles and caldo de camarón was great, boyfriend really liked it. Especially since he loves spicy food. The server even gave us a speaker to bump music. Definitely recommend!

Overall: good food, lots of it, friendly service but not aggressive, no mariachi (positive in our book) and good value for price. Note: menu had English but very little was spoken. Came into town around 7:30/8pm and a lot of places were closing up (not high season) but still lots of hassling going on (come here I give you good price, best lobster in town etc) They still had the open sign and a guy welcomed us in without hassling which we liked. They seemed to be eating themselves on the first floor but quickly got up to serve us. One other group at a table upstairs, we picked a table on the balcony a few down from them. Service: very friendly. Not pushy and they have items in the menu that are pretty cheap too also the lobster. Food: delicious and plentiful. Two types of salsa, one spicy like I like. Fresh and amazing tortillas. We both got the shrimp, garlic and diablo, fresh and cooked perfectly. Beans and rice to ensure you had enough to stuff yourself.

First off the hospitality is amazing here. The waiters and waitresses are very kind and helpful. We ordered the pina coladas and they were amazing. They first brought out a tortilla soup that tasted home made. Also chips and salsa were brought out with the drinks and were delicious. I ordered the large lobster that came with rice, beans and tasty tortillas. My wife had the rojo aguachiles that was amazing and fresh. Everything at this restaurant is home made and tastefully seasoned. Will definitely be coming back for more on the next vacation!! Update: February 1, 2020. We always come here for the quality of food and hospitality. They treat us as family and the food is always delicious. We ordered the shrimp and octopus cocktail, lobster dinner and the green aguachiles. The margaritas are delicious, my personal favorite is the tamarindo margarita. I will always return here on my trips to Mexico.

We usually ask to sit on the ocean view The moment you sit down, they welcome you with a warm, savory tortilla soup that feels like a hug inside your tummy! Honestly I could have sipped on that all day! But then the real star arrives... The lobster! It's deep fried in butter, it's so delicious that you feel like singing a love song with every bite! Now let's talk about the freshly made flour tortillas! They're soft, buttery and the taste is just perfect! I swear I could have eaten a whole stack of them on their own! NO SHAME! It also comes with two generous bowls of rice and refried beans!! A full feast of delicious flavors and aromas! Everything just works together like it was meant to be! This is definitely comfort food at its best! The conclusion: If you want delicious food, good vibes and a meal that will make your taste bud sing with delight! I called him and finally someone answered his phone and said he's down the street unconscious. He doesn't remember anything but all his stuff was gone and he had head trauma which was from getting robbed. By the looks of it he was hit in the back of the head and a black eye and his ear was damaged. His wallet was empty but they left his ID, his Meta glasses, watch, wedding ring and Hat were gone. This is not a safe place to visit. One of the vendors next to the restaurant did several transactions on my husbands card until there was no more money.

This is the best lobster restaurant in Puerto Nuevo…read more The food is excellent. The lobster tastes fresh and is not overcooked. We ordered the large family tray, which feeds about 6 to 8 people. We also ordered additional lobsters to complement the platter, since it only comes with four lobsters cut in half. Their flour tortillas are some of the best. They are unlimited, along with rice and beans, and the servers keep them coming. The views are nice, and there is usually a parking attendant who helps you find parking nearby. The service is good, but be prepared to be pressured if you do not leave a generous tip. We left a 12% tip ($800 Pesos), which is standard in Mexico, and were still confronted. Keep in mind the standard daily wage in that area is around 300 pesos. The waiter told us we needed to leave 15 to 18 percent. We ended up leaving more only because the service was really good. Since I paid the bill and someone else in our group left the tip, they added more on top of what was already left. If it had been me, I would have taken the cash back and left NOTHING. This is way they get 4 stars and not 5! Tips are not obligatory. Servers receive wages, and they should be grateful for any additional gratuity guests choose to leave. Aside from that small incident, this is a great restaurant.

We notified them they did them again. Still same. Then we consumed about $8,000 pesos. We asked for boxes and they gave us 3. Then we asked for more because honestly we weren't going to eat the food. Then one lady told us we can't give you anymore. I told her charge us for the containers if you need to. I have came here previously because we were recommended and it has been good before. This will be the last time we will be here. I am a special needs mom and always look for options for my children. They should better their service and be more helpful. We just decided to put food in containers and to the people in the street. So it wont go to waste
