The quality is great particular attention is given to their use of seafood which is usually secondary in most restaurants to beef and pork. Where do I even begin....I guess the fact that if I could I would give this place zero stars. -horrible service We had 3 or four people rotating at our table whether it was dropping something off, taking our order asking if we were okay, etc. We various waitresses asked multiple times if we were okay and we said yes and even asked for the check and they wouldn't bring it, and proceeded to wait ten minutes to come back and ask again if we were okay. During that time, they just took my water (which I thought it was to refill it, but no) and I guess I was just done drinking. Then when we finally did pay, my card ended up declining. (I've been dealing with a fraud issue with my bank account and I guess they didn't properly activate it) so when I explained that, she took my card and rolled her eyes, and proceeded to walk away as she waved my new card at her manager. When she came back with the slip to sign, I was in the middle of explaining my bank situation to my friend that I was dining with and she proceeded to stand there waiting and watching for me to sign the receipt so she could snatch it. Eventually she walked away, because I was proceeding with my story. However, I was so tempted to not give her a tip, luckily my friend convinced me to at least leave a dollar. -way to pricey A bowl of guacamole or queso was $10-$13 Most of the dishes were in the $18-28 range -tasteless food My friend and I ordered chicken flautas. I've had them in the past at various restaurants and love them, so I wanted to give it a try. Big mistake. The entire meal was flavorless. The chicken was in big chunks and not properly shredded, so basically all the chicken actually in it just fell out with one bite. The chicken wasn't seasoned, nor did it have cheese or any kind of sauce with it, which I'm usually used to when ordering the dish. Neither of us finished our meals. -obnoxious atmosphere They had live music so loud we couldn't here each other or the waitress. We had to say what multiple times to clearly make up what the waitress was asking/saying. They didn't have complimentary chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants do, again disappointing. They did have one of the various wait staff I mentioned above to drop something off at our table, an appetizer of some sort but we didn't know what because it was just dropped and the waiter walked away. We had to ask the waitress when she came back to the table what it even was. Basically do yourself a favor and don't bother coming here. I gave it a chance because I love Mexican food and I work in the area and it's always busy, so to me that was a good sign. However, it has to be just family friends coming around, because nobody I know would ever put up with what we did tonight. I'm not sure how they're still in business. read more

Really solid place. Instead of the usual chips and salsa, the meal began with a gratis and tasty seafood cerviche on top of a corn tortilla. I ordered a mixed grill fajitas with poblano peppers. Meat and sides were tasty. I'd skip the fajita shrimp next time, dry as a bone with the shells grilled firmly on. Great tequila selection and friendly staff. We went to eat "dinner" here and wait time to be seated was about 10-15mins. We were seated and no one came to offer us drink or take our order. We waited for about 45 minutes and nothing. There were people behind us when we got seated and those people had already had been seated and had their food & drinks. This is the second time it happens. The first time we let it slide because we thought it was just busy but for it to happen again is very disappointing. The first time the waitress took forever with refills and she would barely check to see if we needed anything. When we asked for our check she said she was going to bring it and she continued cleaning for a good 20 minutes before she brought it to the table. I went to eat today and it took an 1 hour to be seated, once we sat down they took 30 minutes to ask if we were ready to order. Then they asked us what we wanted and took an 1 hour and 40 minutes to have our food just for it to taste like hot dog water. There chicken was dry and had no flavor. When we asked for our check we had to ask 3 waiters for it and for a box to go . In general this place sucks, the food isn't good and the wait takes years. read more

As both a Mexican-American and a native Californian, this unique Mexican seafood restaurant really impressed me. After shopping at a nearby store yesterday, I saw the grand opening sign from across the street. My Grandfather and I were hungry and decided to give the place a shot for dinner. We were not disappointed. This place has beautiful decor and a stellar menu to match. In lieu of the (less authentic) chips and mild salsa many of us are used to, we were treated to tuna ceviche with fresh tostadas, which was as tasty as it was authentic. Our waitress was not only professional, but she went the extra mile to be friendly and helpful, even suggesting the meal that I ordered! I had ceviche and was not disappointed. The portion was large, the presentation was very professional, with the ceviche having the look of a much more expensive restaurant, and the fish was so fresh that it took on the spicy lime-tomato flavor of the seasoning perfectly. The texture of the fish was perfect. It melted in my mouth. My Grandfather's dish was of an equally high quality. He ordered the fish enchiladas. The fish was grilled, not fried (which is more authentic.) It was also incredibly fresh. Everything was great down to the last detail. Even the Mexican rice that came with the enchiladas was some of the freshest and most flavorful I've had out in years. Not only do I recommend this restaurant, I will be back ASAP. read more

The service was horrible and no, it was not busy and their was enough coverage so that was not the issue.. Food took forever to come out and some got plates was before others. I got my plate 25m before my daughters. The waitress had convince my group and I to buy a bucket of beer for $20 because it would be cheaper that way ,but by the time we were leaving the price went up to $27 I have no idea why when we asked she said the manager just told her since it was later in the night the price went up. This was written no where on the menu. The waitress never told us that. This is my second time coming here , and am very disappointed! For starters , the service was ok but a little chaotic. The menu is very big and description of the food wasn't very clear and limited.On to our food ,Ordered a dozen of raw Oysters and couple minutes later was informed that they did not have any and would have to choose something else . Big bummer when you go for some seafood and they don't have what you want . Shrimp that came with the kids menu had a very awful after taste, like if it was frozen shrimp from a bag . Steak nachos came with 7 Strips of steak and loaded with lettuce. And the most annoying thing is , they would bring out our food one or two plates at a time , instead of bringing everyone's food at once . Most everyone was done eating before we even received our last plate of food . Tried this place for the first time today. The atmosphere is cheery and inviting, and the food was excellent. Chicken enchiladas Suiza was very good, and the chocolate cake was delicious. My rating is based off their service NOT their food! The food was delicious! But unfortunately the service sucked, we waited 2 hours and finally had enough of asking them when, we demanded to sit down. I never got silverware to eat, the waiter had to run to the kitchen to grab some that we're just washed. And still didn't bring enough silverware for anyone. Then when we ask to split the check she says we should have told her from the beginning. Last time I checked she's the damn waiter, she's suppose to ask. And since when can't a check be split at the end, she was obviously just being lazy and didn't want to do the work. And to top it off, we decided to leave her good tip, so she grabs the money and starts to walk and then tells us that the tip is already included in the bill. Well why the fuck didn't she say that before she grabbed the money.. she didn't even want to tell us. While sitting there another waiter spills drinks he's carrying on a customer, two other waiters fall and break dishes. Everything was just so unorganized, and so unprofessional. I went yesterday with my parents to try this place since people recommended it to me. The service is really slow. We went around 4:50 5pm. There was barely any people at the restaurant. My mother order a mojarra al ajillos and my dad mojarra a la diabla. Anyone that orders that they will charge you $3 more if you choice a la diabla or ajillo. They didn't say that when we order. The money is not the problem but every restaurant we go to they let you know it will be extra if you choose certain items. They don't have salsa which was disappointing. All they have is Valentina, habanero bottles. We requested salsa picante but they gave us a little cup with habanero. For this place to be a Mexican restaurant is really disappointing. I order paella Marina, it was okay but the shrimp and Calamari tasted like sand. I'm not sure if they didn't wash it properly because I've tried many places and this one was by far the worse. My husband and I really enjoyed our Saturday evening at Mariscos Los Cabos. The decor and ambiance is delightful. Service was prompt and attentive. We really enjoyed the recorded Mexican music being played which was not overly noisy. We arrived at 5:45 and the place was pretty packed. Lots of families. Instead of the usual basket of chips and salsa that fill you up before your dinner even arrives, here they served a single crispy tortilla with some lovely light vegetable topping. A nice change and appreciated. We tried two of the ceviches for dinner. The house ceviche tower was loaded with seafood octopus shrimp and tuna and had a very fresh citrusy sauce. The other ceviche was spicier with I think pineapple and we preferred it since it had more flavor . Both were served with whole crispy corn tortillas and avocado and cucumber slices. Very light and delicious. Presentation was excellent . Portions were huge and we took quite a bit of food home. Margaritas were tasty but, as in the most Mexican restaurants, we wished they had more tequila in them. My husband had the churros for dessert which come with both sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce. He said they were excellent. We are looking forward to returning and trying different things especially the tres leches cake. read more
