The music was lively, and the dance floor was bustling. I enjoyed three tacos at $1.75 each, with fresh cilantro and onions adding flavor. However, I had to wait quite a while to order more, and it took about 20 minutes for someone to process our check-out. We weren't sure who our waiter was, as many staff members passed by without addressing our requests. We also noticed someone bring their one-year-old into the bar area despite the loud music. It's unclear why they weren't asked to leave. Due to the slow service, I'm still undecided about returning. read more

Loud music, food is good. Only think is the agua fresca are not free refills. They have live music and ask as well and a bar as well. No crowded tables close to each other. Dark room but each table have its own little lamp which id nice. read more

Me encantan las tostadas de ceviche de aquí son mis favoritas y el servicio siempre a sido genial, tienen un ambiente bien padre los fines de semana una vez me animé a cantar en el karaoke y la gente bien linda, aquí todos disfrutan!! read more

Sadly, someone has decided that outrageously loud bar music takes precedent over anyone else in this huge place who might be enjoying themselves or their food or their conversation if they are with someone. It wasn't that level of volume when we came in and ordered. We complained actually. The manager then said the word "DJ" after asking me "What?" several times. Ridiculous. We ate some of our meal when it came. Then we packed up the rest and left. The food and the table service was very good. What a shame. read more

Came for my nieces graduation party and it took them a while to seat us, when walking through the restaurant there were maybe about 5 tables so not sure why the wait was so long as it's a pretty decent size place I got there fajita tacos as you can see from the pic definitely wasn't fajita meat and there shrimp taco had little to no seasoning whatsoever. Tacos were just meh. Would I try this place out again probably not it's out of the area for us and food was just not memorable read more

We walked in sober with no drinks order and the manager said she would server us because someone in our group, she felt looked drunk. Mind you we handed had a single a single drink all day. She stated she didn't want to serve them so she, nor none of her serves had to to serve us any drinks. I have no issue with someone being over the limit and you decided you don't want to serve them but someone who walked in and you decide you don't want to serve them for whatever reason just because you don't want to serve them is not right. Me came out as a family wanting to hangout and the manager, Melissa, said I'm not serving y'all because I feel like she's drunk. So it's up to the managers discretion without any supporting evidence. The food is always great. I love their beef fajitas but the customer service was terrible today. She didn't ask if I needed anything nothing. Horrible, no flavor on anything. Service was slow, stay away from this place. The building was nice but food was bad

Probably going to go back to another location next time, staff there got two of our tables' orders incorrect. One order they first got wrong, then shortly after they informed us that the kitchen canceled the order for some unknown reason. The second order I had trouble hearing the waitress over the music, which most likely caused them to show up with the wrong item, which I still decided to eat in order to not cause more trouble. read more

food was decent, but they charged us $3 more on the plate than what was on the menu. The $11 house margarita was crap. So we ordered an extra shot of tequila to add to the margarita, which the server said would be $4, but she then brought us triple sec and charged us $10. Language barrier was an issue. Service was mediocre at best and pushing bad. Got the feeling they didn't like whites - or non-mexicans. Kept getting the hairy eye from a group of patrons huddled around the bar. read more

Have been to this restaurant a number of times with my lady and have been pleased every single time. We normally go on Saturday, so if loud karaoke isn't for you, you may want to pick another night. Is there a language barrier with some of the waitstaff, yes, but its a Mexican food restaurant. If the employees don't speak Spanish in a Mexican restaurant, I don't want it. The food is always on point. We have never had to get anyone's attention for anything. I've read a number of reviews on here about maybe they don't like non Mexican patrons. I'm as white as can be and I have never felt any sort of lack in service or respect. read more

I don't see myself going there again... It was too dark, and loud in there. They had karaoke night on Sunday, and it was just too much. The service: The waitress forgot to bring us chips. She brought me a michelada with no ice, and when asked to bring ice she brought it out with our order which took about 20 mins to get. The oysters were the only thing that came fast. We could hardly hear what she was asking because it was so loud in there. The food: The oysters were really good, and fresh. They were brought out in a beautiful tray with garnished with cucumbers and oranges. My main course were breaded shrimp which were not the best. The breeding crumbled apart from the shrimp, and the rice didn't have a good flavor to it. The best part of that plate were the fries. I highly doubt that we will have dinner there again. It was just not what we expected. read more

The food was really good, I ordered the Soup with fish and shrimp and it was way better than the Calle Dolce, and they give you big pieces of fish for the price you pay. Totally worth it. The ceviche was good and they put a lot on a tostada. I sat at the Bar so the service was pretty good. They updated the front bar and close the patio to make more room and it's pretty nice with Dallas Cowboys stuff. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would but it's requiring at least one star. This place sucks. Food, environment and service. Do not come here.

Horrible !!!! First off we sit down and it seemed ok then a plaque on the wall fell right on us spilling all our drinks, the manager comes over and just asked if we were ok, didn't offer an apology or nothing, then we never got our chips and salsa, I asked for water about 5 times, and I ordered the cocktail and my husband ordered the fish soup his seemed ok but mine was so gross I ended up leaving it there . Over all we spent 80 dollars and left pissed off. Never again ! read more

Came here with my family that includes children. I give this place -zero stars. It took over 30 mins for someone to take our drink order and to bring the drinks the table didn't have enough space for us to sit and we asked if we can be moved. The waitress went to tell the manager and she bluntly said if they want to move they can leave. We over heard them. So when the manager came by we asked her again if we can move so we can simply order out food and eat comfortably and she says yes she could not move us we had just gotten our drinks. And it had been over 45 mins and we had to leave we had just gotten our drinks and had to pay the tab for drinks this place is not professional and has no respect not even because babies and children are there .

I've been to other La Marea locations and this one is a little different. Not sure if it's my favorite either. The inside space is awkward, it's not really an open space, and there's one stage, so I don't think that's really ideal. It's almost as if there's many different rooms to sit in. So if you're going at night for the show, the rooms seem odd. FOOD- The food is okay. Not my first choice. I ordered the tilapia fillet for dinner. The tostadas de Camarón are delicious. They're so filled that you'll probably have enough with one. PARKING- Parking was a little awkward too because it has a small parking lot in the front and you'll find the rest in the back. BAR- There's two bar areas, one by the stage where the show happens and another one in another room where you won't be near the loud stage. SERVICE Staff is friendly and nice. Service in general was a solid 3/5. For a Saturday night, the food was made quick. So that's a good thing. This place is not an intimate place nor a romantic setting. It is family friendly (I think day time only, because at night on weekends, the show can get a little rated R). Overall, this location is ok. Ideal reataurant if you have a party of 10 or more with no reservation because you'll most likely be able to get seated fast. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! I've gone maybe 2-3 times and the food never tastes fresh, especially the ceviche! They advertise fajita meat but give out meat that taste very low quality. They charge you extra for salsa (who even does that at Mexican restaurants?!) The only ok part about this place is that they have live shows and karaoke on certain nights. read more

Our first time here, we walked in and noticed a few people at the bar and a lot of open seats so we went in a sat down only to be hunted down by the short dark guy hostess saying in Spanish there's a wait. I said a wait, there's open seats everywhere, he said there's a wait so we waited because we were hungry. After about 10 minutes we were allowed to sit, in that period of time no one else went in before us so I don't know what the wait was for. I like draft beer so I ordered a Miller lite drat, I could tell the glasses weren't rinsed good because it had a chemical soapy taste so I switch to bottle beer. For some reason the female bartender seemed like she had an attitude oh and I don't think she spoke English. My wife asked for tarter sauce so the bartender brought her retried beans my wife told her that's not what she order and the bartender got an attitude and wanted to argue with her as she walked away she rolled her eyes. The food was real good but with employees with attitudes like hers we won't be back. Yes my bill was $104 with NO tip. With me it's easy to get a great tip just be friendly and don't come to work with a attitude, we don't want to see it. Like I said, the food was good but we won't be back read more
