5 Tacos, Rice & Charro Beans
    Lovely W.

Man I have been trying to find a great Mexican spot close by in Duncanville forever. These people have been here coming up on a year. I've never been in before until today. The food was incredible. The music is nice and fun. Created some great ambience love the color scheme. The service was incredible and it was the perfect middle of my day. The beans are completely original at this location in the Rice is super delicate and very tasty. All of the meats are freshly made, and they set up the plate perfectly. I can only praise them.

    Hair in the queso.

Before we get to food, I want to address the the service.. I went in and ordered a take out order. I ordered, paid, and even tipped!! He said it would be 10 minutes. I go sit outside to wait. I am sitting left of the door as you exit the restaurant. While waiting, 2 Hispanic ladies show up. They go in, and then come right back out and sit outside. (Weather was nice). They sit far right of the door. He comes out with my food and walks to their table. Then turned around to me and raises the big up, as if to say, this is yours. He sets it on the table behind him and turns aback around to talk to them. I felt it was extremely disrespectful. Not even the decency to bring my food to me. The food. Well. I opened the vow of queso, and the first thing i see is a long hair! Not mine. I'm bald. So that grossed me out and I didn't eat anything. Between the disrespect of having to go pick up my food at another table because some females showed up and the first thing I see is hair.. I don't want to try the food. I like to support local businesses, but I won't be supporting them.

Not even one full taco from the 3 Taco Rice & Charro Beans

A group of five of us visited this establishment last night. When we ordered our drinks with our server, Zoe, only 3 out of 5 drinks were correct--twice. She did correct them, but it was already frustrating. When our food arrived, one of the main dishes was missing avocados, and we were not informed of this before placing the order. Another plate was missing elote. On top of that, during the second round of drinks, only 2 out of 5 were correct. After taking just a few bites of my food, I began to feel nauseous. Later that night, I experienced excessive vomiting and diarrhea. I reached out to management about the situation and was told that this was my responsibility and that they were not at fault because they had recently passed an inspection. Based on other reviews, this is not the first time someone has experienced this here, despite management claiming it has never happened before. Please be cautious when trying new places. I am now out of my hard-earned money, had a wasted meal, and endured extreme discomfort. Would not recommend.

We ordered Enchiladas Chicken, Quesadilla plate, & they had Aguas Frescas. All the food was hot & taste great. Portions were perfect for the price. This definitely hit my Mexican food need, having been out of NM for 2 weeks. 3 adults eating for $43 wasn't bad at all.

Polish up on your Spanish I was most impressed with the complimentary chips w/3 types of salsa and small bowls of frijoles a la charra for each of us YUM the beans were D-lish! I like to try what hasn't been reviewed yet so I had the Pozole Rojo (red hominy soup w/pork meat & spices) Very big serving bowl with lots of broth w/plain crisp tostadas x3. The Menudo and the Pozole were definitely at least a level 3 spice for me (but I'ma wimp when it comes to spice). The menudo, same generous size bowl, was too spicy for Ma so we took it to-go for my dad. Bro ordered Enchiladas Verdes plate w/chicken.. again very generous portion w/4 enchiladas rice n beans. The green sauce was a little spicy as well for him. He only ate half. Grandson ordered beef asada quesadilla plate which he loved served with rice and beans. Granddaughter ordered 2 plain bean and cheese tostadas but expected cheddar cheese and not queso fresco... well, I gobbled those up for her too! To drink, sweet tea has free refills, the large Jamaica was tasty, and the kids opted for Jarritos. It was 84.99 for three adults and two kids. A little pricy in my opinion but I'd go again to try more menu entrees.

During that time…read moreour beloved leaders of Texas encouraged us to social distance but said get out and drive if we were bored. In an ode to one of the Leslie Nielson Naked Gun movies I joked we drove around in full body condoms to be safe. We hit the Twisted Sisters (curvy roads not actual "sisters") and hit the Taco Casa drive thru. BTW, anyone remember that scene with Pricilla Presley? AND, eventually someone was offended and it was removed. A single photo of shredded cheese and a black olive in my goatee is the only evidence that review ever existed. GF was and still is to this day a respiratory care professional who needed a break from watching everyone die. More than she had seen in here now 28 years of healthcare. Well, Yelp peeps I'm BACK with my newest review of Taco Casa. This time just south of DFW. Didn't plan this; had already tried to get diesel twice with no luck. Roll in and see 18 wheeler style pumps. Corporate gas card worked! Once filled up I headed to the Taco Casa counter inside the gas station. Seems popular enough with the locals; nice folks to visit with. Ordered two Super Tacos and a Coke. Headed back to my flat bed truck to dig in. Had trouble opening the salsa packets because old man. You know, Taco Casa has solid tacos. A better ratio of beef, sour cream, and cheese versus Taco Bell. Ordered with easy lettuce the only thing that perplexed me was you could not add Guacamole without chips. I mean this is 2025. You can add olives to any dish but not guac? I think this needs to be addressed by the corporate folks. It's a simple menu fix; do it! Don't ask if I can open the stupid salsa packets!

The money I spent on that meal could have been my last few dollars, yet there was no care or understanding shown at all. It's disappointing because so many people in Oak Cliff support this business and remain loyal customers, only to be treated poorly in return. Customer service and basic respect go a long way, and sadly, that was completely lacking here.

Loved this place!…read more First and foremost, the customer service was outstanding HUGE shout out to José! He does everything with such a cheerful heart and genuine kindness. The horchata is a must-try--so refreshing and delicious. The food is full of flavor and comes out quickly. The grilled jalapeños and onions were amazing and perfectly seasoned! They were also great about making accommodations for vegetarians, which we really appreciated. The tortas were excellent, the quesabirria was flavorful and packed with meat, and the nachos were loaded with toppings. The beans were super tasty (and kid approved!), and the quesadilla was made with a fresh tortilla - also a hit with our kiddos. Pricing is reasonable and fair, especially for the quality and portions. Highly recommend - this spot is definitely a new favorite!

UPDATED DETAILED REVIEW:…read more Food: The food is always 10/10. I usually order the same thing every time; Fried Oreos, Mexican Potato, etc. and it always tastes the same so I don't have room for complaints. Service: 10/10 The workers are always friendly/respectful and get to customers whenever they have a chance. I will say the wait time is long but that's because the food is MADE TO ORDER. It's fresh food, *not* fast food. If you're not patient or on a time crunch then this isn't the place you should be dining at. There is literally a disclaimer on the ordering window by checkout talking about the wait time and their reasoning as to why orders take so long. There's also an app where you can order ahead of time! Ambiance: 7/10 The vibe of the place is kinda like a mom and pop shop. The walk-in is small and can fit about three people comfortably MAX. It's not made to sit down and eat (there is a lil seating area but we use it more as a waiting area than dining.) It just gets a bit uncomfy when DoorDashers are trying to pick up orders and customers are also placing orders, it gets packed like a can of sardines...
