    Ceviche Bowl

Mariscos El Paisa was a great find. The rustic atmosphere gave the place plenty of character, the service was friendly, and the prices offered excellent value. I ordered the Ceviche Bowl and the Aguachiles Verde, and both were incredibly fresh, bright, and refreshing. The seafood was firm and tender with a perfectly balanced citrus marinade that delivered just the right amount of zesty acidity and heat without overpowering the natural flavor. Paired with crisp, fresh tostada shells, every bite had the perfect combination of texture and flavor. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered some to go for friends. I would definitely come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mariscos El Paisa to anyone looking for fresh, flavorful Mexican seafood done right.

Have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Heard good reviews from some friends. We finally made it here and thought I'd try some ceviche but my stomach was feeling a little funny so I ordered fried whole fish which was Tilapia and asked for rice instead of French Fries. It came with a salad with avocado slices which was fine. My friend ordered 2 little street tacos and a side of rice and beans. It's a order counter type of establishment where you place your order and they bring your meals on a paper plate. It was challenging because I had to ask for a knife and extra fork so I could cut up my fish and place the bones and pieces on 2 other paper plates because the fish was so huge and deboning wasn't easy. Utensils aren't set out so you have to ask for it at the order counter. It wasn't exactly easy to eat but the fish was tasty, dirty rice(?) was tender and so was the salad. I couldn't finish everything so I asked the waitress for a container. The styrofoam container held my leftover fish, rice & salad but I had to split my fish in order to fit. I should've asked for a piece of foil. The tap water from the soft drink dispenser was kinda chemical tasting so I hardly drank it. Inexpensive prices & festive atmosphere. Was pretty busy for a Thursday during lunch.

This is probably long overdue. I love this restaurant. The service is great, they check on you often. The food is so flavorful and very fresh. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. If you like spicy food definitely try the Aguachile!

Great fast Mexican food at a reasonable price. Portions were big enough to share. We can on a Wednesday night but the atmosphere was that of a festa. Complete with a mariachi band. Our server was quick and sweet.

Was greeted as soon as we stepped through the front door and helped with making a decision on what to get. Their Ceviche was so delicious and refreshing, I was in heaven! We sat outside and immediately felt like we were somewhere by the beach. They have plenty of patio coverage and fans everywhere that make it feel like you're on vacation.

You walk in and order at the counter from a variety of mostly seafood options, but they have choices for those that don't enjoy seafood like nachos and tortas. We sat outside near the play area in the shaded patio. It was a hit with our kids, they had a blast playing on the wooden ship. Our food came out incredibly quick. Even though it was counter service, various servers came and checked on us throughout the meal. Overall we enjoyed the food. The kids chowed down on the nuggets and fries since they aren't fans of seafood. The tostada was full of toppings and if you aren't super hungry, one could be a meal. The fish and shrimp could have been fried a little crispier/harder in my opinion, but aside from that, we enjoyed the meal. I'm sure we will return and try some different menu items while our kids enjoy the play area.

Fish and shrimp tacos! Must try!

I absolutely love Mariscos and this place is so conveniently close to home! What I love most about Mariscos el paisa is that they serve alternative options for those that don't eat or like seafood. They have tacos, tortas, and quesadillas as well as their main Mariscos menu! My husband and I have tried several items from their entire menu! Fish and shrimp tacos (which are a must try) and we have also had quesadillas, tacos, and tortas! The staff/service is so welcoming and attentive! They have indoor and outdoor seating very pretty, colorful, nautical aesthetic and relaxing ambiance! There is a lot of parking as well. Oh and lastly, they are closed Monday & Tuesday fyi!

Restaurant located right off highway 281 North. It's nothing fancy but straight off the top the food is really delicious! Parking lot had ample space for customers and inside of restaurant is quite clean with plenty of seating. There is also a shaded patio with a play area for kids and a walk up bar plus a fountain too. Menus were posted above the cashier's area and staff members were helpful with their suggestions. I had the shrimp tacos, very good! Hubs had the shrimp quesadilla and he enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be back to check out other items.

This place is so fun! It's counter service in that you order at the counter and the servers bring out your food. Very Texan. They have a lot of seafood options, which is great! I actually had the beef burrito and it was delicious! Next time I may try the wet burrito. They have both alcoholic and non alcoholic options. The patio has misting fans, which I appreciated on the hot day. However, my hair felt really funky afterward. Not sure why... Prices were good. The ambience was fun for adults and kids alike! They have a small kids playground, which is great. Overall, a fun time with good food and a good atmosphere!

This place is delicious. There's a pirate ship on the patio. The mojarra is so tasty and crispy. The fries are savory salty and thick. I thought the was too much salt in the meats, but that's just my preference. The ceviche reminds me of laying on the beach in Chacala. The service is perfect.

Probably the best tacos I've had since I've been in Texas. I love that they use corn tortillas. I also had the pastor torta and omg it was delicious. My wife had the chicken quesadilla and it was delicious and huge. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful, there wasn't a second where I felt I couldn't ask for anything. Inside is super cool such great decor and makes you feel like you're on the coast at some hole in the wall local spot where everyone knows the food is amazing. This is definitely my new spot to get the grindz! Heads up they're well known for their fish and shrimp tacos.

Too bad I live in Dallas but when I come here for work, best believe I'm coming to eat here, authentic and great quality. Everything I had was tasty and the service is awesome.

Very friendly waitstaff and delicious desserts! The main course was decent, but I expected a bit more spice in my dish.

Yes, we took both are small behaved pups- not an issue

Does this restaurant have any gluten free options? I am familiar with what has gluten, but cross contamination happens. Any dedicated gluten free options that they take special precautions with to ensure no cross contamination occurs?

It's a Mexican seafood which specializes in fresh ceviche type food. Shrimp, fish, octopus... avoid the tostada if going gluten free or fried food items.…

    Is there a happy hour?

    Idk

He placed an online order and went to pick it up. When he got home and we opened the bag, we were disappointed. The sesame chicken was frozen or pre-breaded chicken, and the sauce was a bland BBQ sauce with no spice. My teriyaki chicken was dry and tasted like beef broth and was incredibly spicy, even though I had requested no spice. The wonton soup tasted like chicken noodle soup, and the wontons were undercooked and fell apart like dumplings. I had ordered coconut boba tea, but there was no boba. I poured it into another cup, and a small, frozen chunk of boba came out. When I called to complain, the girl who answered said they had a new cook and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager. The manager said I could bring everything back and she would remake it, but we live 25 minutes away up 281, and I wasn't about to drive back into town. She then offered to give me 30% off the boba and sesame chicken, but she couldn't guarantee it because they use a third-party service for online orders. I could hear the first girl arguing with the manager that she definitely put boba in the soup and I was lying. I told her to forget it and I wasn't worried about it anymore. Then she said no, I'll give you an in-store credit for the boba and sesame only, so $7.99 and $14.99, after we paid $95 for everything with a $15 tip. I definitely won't be coming back to this place. I'm so disappointed and now what to do for dinner.
