    Soup was pretty good
    Robert M.

Came here for a work conference and a work sponsored meal which is the BEST way to eat out. Especially at this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining was nice but surprisingly loud. While they designed a nice place to cram as many people into the location to maximize the square feet, not a lot of attention was paid to the acoustics.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not a romantic date spot for me with that sound level. The waiter was especially attentive and did well with the amount of folks he was served from our group. Occasionally others came in to pitch in and it was a well orchestrated team. We started out with a nice Caymus which is way out of my spend lane but it was a great wine. Then I moved on to a soup instead of the salad. I think it was a special, but it didn't taste super special. I went with the fish of the day which was VERY good with a dollop of mashed potatoes that seemed an odd pairing until I realized they were mainly a steak shop and I guess that's the starch to go to. If in the hotel for a business meeting, I recommend that it's a good place to meet up with your partners/co-workers.

I went for the Frosty Character Breakfast and it was a disaster. The omelet station had my parents waiting 30 minutes, there was hair in several dishes, the server got our pancake order wrong *incomplete *, and a lot of the hot food was not hot. I had to request basic items to be refilled or brought to our table on many occasions. I hope dinner and lunch are better but I wouldn't know. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Frosty photo op was great but didnt justify the insane 56 dollars a person given the food and lackluster service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What amazing, talent chefs this place has. I've never ordered all the appetizers and loved all of them. My whole group couldn't pick a favorite, they were all delicious. The lobster salad is a must try...absolutely perfect. Our server was Luis and he was phenomenal, great personality and very diligent. Halibut was great. Diver scallops were also delicious but small. A very impressive dinner experience Definitely dont skip the desserts. Pistachio ice cream and praline was amazing. Bread pudding was also a hit.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is very nice looking but the acoustics are abysmal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You simply cannot have a conversation in this restaurant; it is so loud. I had a nice filet which was cooked perfectly and was very tender. My wife had a marvelous onion soup followed by delicious scallops. My friend had the bone in ribeye and this was disappointing. It was chewy and lacked flavor. The sides were good and the service was as well.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]18 Oaks restaurant is a beautiful modern upscale restaurant with a nice view of the golf course located inside the JW Marriott Hotel[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We chose this place because it was highly recommended by friends of ours saying it is definitely a perfect venue for a celebration. Definitely worth checking out for my birthday! Upon arriving we were greeted with complimentary mimosas, yes please! We were seated and drink orders were taken. A champagne flight for the ladies and 3 Brisket Bloody Mary's for the men. The ladies in our group (3) each ordered cappuccino's as well. The brunch menu had some nice selections and we chose Pork Belly hash, lobster omelet, eggs Benedict, and shrimp and grits as our mains. We also ordered seasonal fruit for the table as well as sweet potato fries with the yum yum sauce (aioli). The food was mouth watering, drinks were great, everyone was very happy with what they had ordered. Stephanie was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. Thank you for making my special day even more special, Stephanie! We will definitely be back for dinner, looking forward to it.

First time dining at 18 Oaks. The servers were great. We were in the wine room. So it was pretty quiet except for servers walking in to collect bottles of wine. The service was very attentive, but things took a long time, but I appreciated that they were able to divide the bill among so many of us. I didn't get a picture of the fries, but that was the best thing I ate the rolls were also tasty. Sorry no pictures. I got the wagyu filet and it wasn't special. I've had seared wagyu, and it was great. This one was mushy, not melty. There was a spread which tasted like duck and pate. If you love nutmeg, try the brie ice cream. I truly hate nutmeg. It's the worst. The ice cream was ruined, and I just let it melt into a puddle. The panna cotta was great! During our dinner, a fist fight broke out in the main area of the restaurant. If you're interested in fighting, don't ruin other people's time. Don't go out to dinner. Go for a walk. Our area was protected from the nuisance, but there were tons of people who saw what happened in the main area. Service: 5 Food: 3 Ambiance: 4

However, when we arrived (and throughout our meal) the dining room occupancy never reached 50%-fyi! I requested a booth, but we had to switch shortly after we were seated because the table was SERIOUSLY wobbling whenever we touched it. The Calamari was just, meh...maybe because it was prepared unlike I'd ever had before. I ordered the "Stuffed Salmon" and as U can see, it didn't meet expectations-plus it was small for the price. My fiancée ordered the Pasta Flight and immediately discovered that it was more than she'd bargained for. Overall, it was tasty, with the exception of the chicken-which was dry. She also had to request fresh bread because they were all so hard. Also, our entrees were extremely late to arrive, based on the crowd-over 30 minute wait!!! Our waitress was pleasant but apologized a lot for the few issues. The ambiance was elegant & date night-ish, so we may return...

Great indoor outdoor seating and it was not really hot outside this time of the year and we had gotten to the restaurant at 5. It is a very family friendly place and they do have live music that play in the evenings. I did tell them it was my first time trying out the restaurant, and the owner came by himself and greeted us and thanked us that we came to his restaurant. I would have given five stars, but our waitress was not attentive as I would like it to be, but they were getting busy throughout that next hour we were there. We did get a slice of chocolate cake, which I highly recommend if there is any left because it is a very popular dessert!

We were immediately seated and Jamie, our server was friendly and attentive. Actually the entire staff was excellent. We opted for the prix fix luncheon menu - so worth it! Your choice of main with salad or dessert orrrrrrr for +$3 you get all 3! Our server asked us if we wanted bread, and we said yes. The complimentary breads were nice and warm- a mixture of freshly made white and a dried fruit nut bread. The dark bread with dried fruit/nuts was my fave and highly addictive lol Ordered : Baby spinach salad with Brie on the side- fresh spinach drizzled with a light vinaigrette and sprinkled with pieces of dried fruit and bacon. The breaded/fried Brie was ooey gooey goodness. Hubby had the Classic Caesar and he enjoyed it. Both salads were decent large bowl portions. Grilled miso glazed Atlantic salmon- fresh, earthy, healthy, and delicious! A good piece of salmon cooked to perfection in a mild miso glaze and topped with an avocado relish. Everything (the quinoa, toasted cashews, grilled bok choy, and salmon) paired and blended so well together. Pure delish. I was completely full afterwards, but hubby had some space for dessert. Choices for dessert were limited to 3 - crème brûlée, chocolate mousse, or toasted coconut mousse pie. We chose the dark chocolate mousse- absolutely beautiful! Dark chocolate was sinfully good, cocoa nibs added a slightly crunch, and the berries were fresh and plump. We were happily stuffed. Service was excellent and food delicious. We would definitely revisit.

We visited on March 12 at 5:45 PM, and the restaurant wasn't busy, which made the atmosphere calm and easy. The first thing I noticed was the salad bar placement -- it's positioned right by the front door, which felt unusual compared to other Brazilian churrascarias I've visited over the years. Still, the offerings were solid: the grilled pineapple was great, and the brûléed bacon was honestly the standout. They even had ceviche, though I don't eat seafood. We were seated in a tucked‑away room, and it took a bit for our server to reach us. The creamy au gratin potatoes and the cloud‑soft bread were delicious. Where the experience dipped was in the gaucho rotation -- not all of them found us, so we only tried about 10 meats, with 7 being genuinely tasty.
