I arrived before closing and, while sitting in my car, checked the order and realized the mayonnaise was missing. I went back inside to ask for it. When I got home--less than five minutes away--I realized the macaroni salad was also missing. I called the deli and asked about it. When I asked if I had been charged for it, I was told, "If it wasn't on the receipt, we didn't charge you." That completely missed the point. I had ordered the macaroni salad and needed it. At no point was I offered the option to come back and pick it up or given any effort to make the situation right. Then, while looking over the receipt, I noticed that one of the sandwiches also did not have the cheese I had specifically ordered. At that point, I had to go to my local grocery store and buy sliced cheese to fix the sandwich myself. So, in one order, I was missing the mayonnaise, missing the macaroni salad, and missing an ingredient I had specifically ordered on one of the sandwiches. More frustrating than the mistakes was the lack of customer service when I called to address them. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. We did some shopping here for July 4 BBQ supplies and found some good deals on things like chicken and corn on the cob (.25 cents each!). Go in knowing the weekly flyer and what's on sale, same as most big name supermarkets. This market is fully stocked with plenty on the shelves. Deli area has rotiserrie chicken, pre-made sandwiches, and sushi too. There is also a walk-in refrigerated Beer Cave area. Friendly staff we encountered, and easy checkout. No complaints.
