I had them install a remote starter. About 6 months after the purchase, I needed to have certain functions disabled. I got the "well we're busy doing _______, call back later". So a few months go by, again the same response "this is kind of a busy time for us, call back". So I waited until the Spring, gave them a call. "we're don't really have time". Long story short, I ended up going to another business to take care of my other vehicles. Customer service was great, at the beginning. But then went down hill quickly, I'm happy with the product, but then my needed support disappeared :( I would encourage my friends to seek out another business to get their remote starters installed. read more

Autoway! Not sure if they exist anymore since Covid. A solid place! I have been going to them for over 20 years. Had my first Viper alarm through them. They back their install and word. I unfortunately have to update this review. After the difficult installation, everything worked great for about a year. Then the car started to show airbag warning lights. It took several trips to the dealer for them to figure out what was wrong - which was the alarm and starter installation. It turns out that Autoway had spliced something into the airbag circuit - probably by mistake - which eventually caused the airbag warning light, and disabled the airbag system. This is a problem because if you have a crash, the airbags will not deploy, which could be dangerous. Luckily nobody crashed... The dealer was able to repair the wiring harness at the cost of $600, which was lucky, as they originally thought the entire harness would have to be replaced at the cost of $1300+. The airbags are working great now, no warning lights, but between the cost of the alarm/starter, and having it removed, I have spent more than $1200 and still have a car with no remote starter or alarm. But at least my kid is safe now. Very disappointed to have to write such a negative review. read more

THE only place I go for automotive electronics. I've brought all of my vehicles here for alarms and remote starters. I recommend them to all of my family and friends. I am thinking of getting an In-dash navigation unit and back up camera for my wife's vehicle, and as always the owners Carl and Dave were very helpful and knowledgeable. I needed a remote car starter for my Son's Honda Element and have had in the past two fitted to my son's cars through Mickey Shore and Buzz Off Automotive, both with slight issues afterwards. I needed a breath of fresh air and it came with these guys. I have always driven past this place but never ventured in, but I'm so glad I did as now I will never go anywhere else. Courteous, friendly, VERY professional and reasonably priced makes this a must for us in the future. Also speaking to the Technician afterwards, he doesn't look as though he just got out of jail like the other places and took the time to explain everything about the remote operation. Very nice and Knowledgeable guys. Long time owners. I came in to get a head unit installed that I bought online and they made sure that it was going to fit and work the correct way. There was an adapter that was needed for the steering wheel control and they called around to 2 places to find one and got me the best price. They then went out to that location to pick up the part. Installation date was a few days later, dropped it off in the morning and it was done about 4 hours later. I also bought a set of component speakers from them to install as well, no pressure at all but just felt like getting a little extra done. Installation was clean and everything was put together tightly. I'm picky like that and if I noticed a screw missing or a piece of interior loose or rattling I would have been back.
