I finally got to try the Walmart bakery for a custom heart cake. The man that took my custom order said he wasn't sure if the decorator would be able to execute it but he/she did amazing! When I came to pick it up around 9:40PM I was told if I arrived a bit later i would've missed them, but I checked beforehand and bakery hours state they close at 11PM? So not sure if hours are accurate. I got a 10 inch cake for $24, it's a steal. So yummy and the cake wasn't dry at all!! I would definitely recommend, their team is talented.

When I visited this Walmart for the first time, I received help from a lady there she was really lovely unfortunately I forgot her name and I'm so sorry but she had green and black hair and she assisted me with such great patience and I did inform her manager of it but this gentleman I didn't have a chance to do so his name is Demarcus. I was having difficulty moving and walking because of the stress on my neck my back even my fingers and I politely asked him for help as I would anyone and there have been some that were strained in their views like just viewing of me probably just exhausted or attitude and I don't know but he wasn't you could tell he was having a long day and maybe had his own back problem but when I explained to him that I needed help if it was all right to ask not because he was working on something else pulling a pallet of heavy items he was kind enough to stop and immediately say yes he would help me and when you realize I didn't know the layout of the store he walked me to my destination and was just really kind of considerate and welcoming he helped me find the item I needed which was to be fair it was overpriced so unfortunately I couldn't get it or because it was a bad investment since it's a fresh move and personal reasons it was forced on me so as he and I were conversing about it looking at the different items he went so above and beyond to assist me I don't want to embarrass him by mentioning how much he did but it was more than just looking up products and walking me throughout the floor he saw you can see it all over my face that I was exhausted I was weary my body was in pain and then the ridiculous cost of the items he offered help in ways no one has ever offered and I want it to say thank you by writing this review because he made that company look more than great he made them human so I wanted to highlight Demarcus for his care consideration for connecting with me for the candidate conversation and going above and beyond to offer help which I just accepted prayers to be fair because I'm still learning to accept help and I was just very surprised that he went that far for someone like myself basically I came out of a very destructive and scary relationship and it was worse than anyone could imagine I guess I wasn't a normal customer but I have a feeling that he treat everyone like he treated me so when you feel like there are no good people left in the world or things have gotten down there are people like Demarcus that are out there who even though they might have a back problem or an issue in their personal lives they still care about their customers they still go above and beyond to help he didn't act like I was bothering him he was professional kind compassionate giving and to be fair if I owned a business I would work once someone like himself working for me so I just want to highlight that input thank you from disabled vet and Survivor of an unusual circumstance. - Lily PS forgive any typos I'm using speech to text thank you ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Ordered a TV with mount to be delivered and installed. When the TV arrived there was no mount and I…read moreasked about it and mounting it and the delivery person said he knows nothing about mounting he just delivers. I called Walmart and found out my mount was coming on another truck and I needed to contact a third party for install. So i contacted the third party (Angie) and made an appointment and they never showed or contacted me. I contacted them and found out I needed to reschedule so I did and made sure they would call me if any problems and they assured me they would. Again no show and didnt notify me. I called them to find out they were not coming so I cancelled the install and told them I would be returning the items. I called Walmart and told them what happened and that they needed to come pick the items up for return. They quoted me a time of 9 am to 7 pm but I had a doctrs appointment so had to wait till Monday. They picked the items up Monday still without notifying me when they were coming which again they said they would. Instead of returning the items to the store I purchased from 20 minutes away they sent them to another state a day away. Now they received my TV and mount Tuesday and its friday and I've yet to be paid back even though I was GAURANTEED to be paid no later than today by Walmart. I contacted them again today and was told I dont know why the told you that then told me " ONCE THEY PROCESS IT" I will get my money back in 7 to 10 business days. So they have had it for 3 days now and admit they just haven't bothered processing the refund. Now when I ordered the TV they took my money instantly but when it comes to paying back what they owe the take there sweet time. I also notified them I have a $50 a day late fee and was told they understand that but i doubt that means anything. Bottom line dont do business with Walmart if you can help it. They couldnt care less about there customers ​​

Luckily, Target came to the rescue with Online orders offering Drive Up Service in my mother's city. I placed my order this morning and she received all her gifts by noon. I was shocked that there were beautiful flowers available for Drive Up pick up at a affordable price! We received beautiful hot pink roses, Godiva Chocolates and beautiful mugs to enjoy her special weekend. Unfortunately we cannot visit this weekend to celebrate however, Target was able to bring smiles to both of us fulfilling my online order with amazing service.
