What's worse than going to the grocery store at the beginning of the week to be all ready for the new week, to wake up the next morning and all your food is moldy you can't even make breakfast. This Walmart is terrible! 2 weeks ago we got wet cat food there and once we opened it there was one cup that had been chewed through by maggots that ate the cat food. Disgusting!! The manager of this store has to be the most unintelligent person that I have ever come across in retail stores. We went in and selected our items and went to check out at the lawn and garden register. They were paying someone to stand at the register to tell people that they couldn't check out there. If you can pay someone to play on their phone and rudely tell people that they can't check out, you can pay them to run the register! Wow....smh read more

Was horrific breaking us down to tears... we went to check out with Judy at the Swansboro NC store 7179. We had a dog bed where several other dog beds were stacked up for $19.98. It ran up $34. We told Judy that was not the price on the shelf. We ask if she could get someone to go back and check because there was several more. She rolled her eyes and said No the price is what it rang up you want it or not. She spoke in a very demeaning and rude & sarcastic way. The lady behind us went to another register to ring up because she said that Judy was way to rude. We said just forget it we dont want it. She proceeded to ring up another item at the wring price again. All items were pet items. We said wait a minute we need someone to check these prices because they are coming up wrong. Judy the sales associate it is what it is my register is correct. We told judy then they are tagged and sticked wring in that department. She said we were wrong. I asked her why she was so rude. She said the price is right. I again asked them to go look and do a price check. Then Tammy the team leader came over yanked the dog crated away stomp off grunting she didnt know why she had to do this.. she never spoke to us acknowledged us or anything. We didnt know what she was doing or if she'd be back. That same customer behind us that saw what happen was in the next line and stepped over and said Im so sorry they are treating you this way. By that time we were shaking and in tears and ready to leave. I told Judy i have shopped walmart my whole since i was 19 im now 54 and never experienced such rude hateful staff. Tammy you going buy this or not. My adult daughter (25 RN) she you are acting terrible Judy said and you arent huh? Another clerk told Judy to shut up. Tammy came back and said too bad the price is right. We um no its not can we show you? She said no. You can get it or not. I said you know what there has to be a manager. Can i get your names she said no but i saw their name tags. About that time Justin the manager came over. Listen to us explain what happen & took us to another register to ring us up because we had to have dog food. As he was ringing us up you could hear Tammy & Judy laughing and pointing at us. I asked Justin to look behind him at those two. I asked him where he gets his employees and has walmart now disregarded any type of respect or kindness to their customers? Judy & Tammy never once even tried to apologize or have a kind or helpful word. Needless to say we will no longer support our local walmart or any walmart for that matter. I know our community here in Swansboro will be so disappointed at the service this walmart is providing. read more

Employee called me a liar when I was buying a sale item! In the store today with my son and saw they had a "Manager Special" sale on TV stands: $50 for regular priced $99. I took pictures of the signs and sent to my wife to see which colors she wanted and went to buy 2 of them. When I went to self checkout, they rang up for $99, I wasn't bothered at all, I simply asked the worker for assistance with the price to match the sale. She literally told me I was a liar and the "Walmart wound never sell something 50% off" and that I would have to pay full price, even after I showed her the pictures and offered to walk her over to the display. She made a big scene acting like I was trying to steal and other customers were watching that she wouldn't even go check to see if the display existed. She refused to see the display saying it didn't matter since it rang up for $99 that there wasn't a display that had 50% off. After me repeatedly asking for a manager and trying to talk to other employees for help or to see the display or get a manager, she finally gave in and got a manager who said that the employee was correct and that I had to pay full price since she hasn't seen the display and agreed that I was lying about the display existing even with a picture and offering to walk to the display to show them!, I remained calm but insisted that the display existed and I continued to offer to show them, which the manager finally agreed but she kept saying I wasn't telling the truth and we walked back to the display, the whole time she was talking about how it wouldn't be there and that I had to pay full price. Then after she saw the display (in the middle of the TV area), she gave a weak apology and said the store keeps having sales without telling the managers and finally agreed to the display price and when I told her how frustrating the situation was, she said would "have a talk" with the employee about calling me a liar since it was actually there and I wasn't lying, taking no accountability of her own actions as well. this was totally ridiculous and I won't shop there again. This occurred in the store today at the self-checkout (3-14-2020 at 3:03pm according to my receipt) and I am happy to provide a statement or a copy of my receipt (which has the manager approval #) if anyone from the store or Walmart finds this unacceptable and infuriating as I do. You can see from my profile I leave mostly 5 star ratings at places but this was insulting and unacceptable! I will not be shopping here again. Also I included the pictures of the display, that I was "making up" since I was repeatedly called a "liar" about it existing. read more
