While working in town yesterday, I stopped in to check it out. Haven't been to a Marshall's since I moved to NC. I'm a huge TJ Maxx lover. I enjoy going to this location whenever I need to find household items and name brand makeup. I have found that they tend to stock some awesome higher end makeup along with drug store brands. I've found Urban Decay, Too Faced, Anastasia, e.l.f., L'Oreal and Maybelline to name a few brands. You will have to check to see if their items have been opened/used/touched before purchase. They also have a good selection of clothing, household items, accessories, bath items, etc. This store is more organized than others and for the most part it's easy to find what you're looking for. You'll find that employees are constantly moving around stocking or putting items back on shelves. The employees here are pretty friendly and easy to talk with. read more

Firstly Marshall's department store is a good store no matter where it's located to find awesome discounts on name brand clothes, shoes and such. The store was clean and very well organized. I found what I was looking for and more lol Can't go in this store and not come out with something! Okay perhaps you can :) Marshall's is basically a place that has clothing and such that I'd say was overstocked in other department stores. Still yet their items are good though you may find a small manufacturing defect it still doesn't deter from the shirt for example. Stop here before going to the higher end stores to leave more money than you wish. read more

Went in on a Saturday and it was busy busy!! Customer service was on point! Every register was going with a line. Noticed a member of management (Lisa) on their walkies handling it with grace and strategy, with the store manager directing customers to their register! As with every other Marshalls I've ever been to, it's hit or miss whether you will find anything...but chances are you will end up with an armful of stuff you didn't plan on but couldn't leave without. (Today I went in to look for a hanging bathroom shelf--which I didn't find--but I ended up with two pairs of PJs for me, three pair of PJ pants for hubby, toys for our son, some hair product, and some other random stuff.) The carts are small so they feel funny, but for a quick trip around, they're just fine. Most of the aisles are decently organized, but some shelves are in complete disarray and you need to paw through stuff to find what you want--though the prices definitely justify the small amount of work it might take. Things have improved with this brand and location in part to fierce competition. I came in for home decor to spruce up for the summer. Found everything I wanted and more for a reasonable price. Upon check out I was asked if I wanted a store card...Im telling you the sale reps are savages when it comes to getting you to get one almost relentless. However the card does have its perks with no annual interests rates and 10% off your initial purchase. If youre like me and dont shop here often its worth getting one using it once or twice then cancelling the card. Jennifer the rep was amazing I dont usually cave when it comes to store cards but her sales pitch was flawless and shes super nice and you can tell passionate about her job. Overall it was a much better experience than ive ever had at this location. read more

I took my partner here today to celebrate a small windfall and she found a small bracelet that she really liked and although it was a bit pricey I just wanted her to have it. She is a great person and deserving of something special so we happily brought it up to the register and placed it among the other items. We left stoked at the purchase and she wanted to check it out while I was driving but for some reason couldn't get to it and when we got home well the item was nowhere to be found and was not actually ever rung up. So now I have a bummed partner and I am bummed and well not too happy. Yeah a mistake I'm sure but this was a special gesture and therefore the item became special as well. I hope that it somehow is still there and ready to retrieve obviously that would be great. But if not, well if you guys read these reviews maybe you have an answer for me? I used to work at HomeGoods so I do know that the customer will always be right no matter how wacky the situation so if I don't get the bracelet I hope that something can be done. Great place to go when decorating your house, stocking up on kitchen supplies, or looking for beauty items and not wanting to pay original full price. Firstly, Marshall's is my addiction. I cannot go into that store with only one item in mind and leave with just that item--I always end up spending $100+. With that being said, it's such an affordable store with ever changing stock consisting of some really unique items. I love to decorate my house so I spend a lot of time in the housing sections, but Marshall's literally has everything from shoes to clothing to perfume and makeup. I don't usually expect good customer service from discount stores, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well I was treated the last time I shopped here. An employee asked if I was finding everything OK while I was browsing. The dressing room attendant got a different size shirt for me to try on and brought it to me in the dressing room. The woman who rung me up was pleasant. I watched as another woman working there kept her cool with a rude customer. As with any discount store, there is going to be chaos on the shelves, so expect it. Like another poster said, the shopping carts are very small --better to make it down crowded aisles, but difficult to fit some items in. read more

As far as the store goes, it's fine. Just like any other Marshall's store I've been to. I went in with my husband to buy running shoes and was SO disappointed with the lack of selection (for Women's). Seemed like they had plenty of options for the Men's sneakers and basically any other shoe besides women's running shoes. But that wasn't my main problem. It was when I got up to the register and started to ask about a discount. I had to buy the display shoe, as it was the only size that fit me and was out on the floor, and on the bottom of the shoe there were numbers written in silver sharpie (which in my eyes is damage to the $40 shoes I'm buying). I ask the cashier if I can get a discount and she looks at me like I'm crazy, asks her manager, and comes back just to say "it's fine". I've been to plenty of Marshalls and have had to ask for discounts on damaged items. I've never been so dismissed before. Some people might say that's not a big deal but at least have good customer service and explain to me why or have a better answer that is not dismissive to your customer. Might've just been this one cashier but she definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

So disappointed.. Had the worst customer service experience. Typically love Marshalls but today I went in found a wallet that I loved with a tag for 14.99.. When I went to register the girl rang it up as 79.00. I showed her the tag that was on the outside of wallet that said 14.99. She went on to say that was wrong and that it wasn't 14.99. I asked if she could please speak with the manager to see if we could work a price out due to the mistake on their part. As she went to call the manager another customer service rep came up behind her looked at the tag, looked at me and said "uh No this is a Michael Kors wallet". I am the first to admit I'm not up on the fashion world.. I don't know labels.. I felt like it was a complete Pretty Woman moment. Sad thing was, I was ready to buy even with the mistake but they made me feel like an idiot that I had the audacity to see if Marshalls was able to meet in the middle due to the error on their part.. Lost a frequent buyer today.. As a manager all I can say is Marshalls please push that customer service it makes a world of difference in the experience. read more
