There is literally nowhere for a plus size gal to buy a swim suit!!! Really Torrid.... Come on. If Angelina had not been amazing and checked the returned items I would have spent five days on the Atlantic coast with no swim suit. Angelina is great!!! In my experience, I'm always greeted as soon as I walk through the door and told about the sales they have going on. I've been in many LBs and some of them just don't know how to engage the customer. At least say hi and ask me how I'm doing. I'm pleasant 95% of the time. If I know what I want, you don't even have to have a full-blown conversation with me. Just take my money. Heck, I was offered a free bra fitting the last time I went in. Didn't need one, but it was nice! Most stores let their mannequins look shameful, but this Lane Bryant keeps them cute! I know none of the clothes will look the same on me because I'm not a six-foot tall Amazon goddess with the perfect hourglass shape, but they give me a good idea of how I'll look. ... Which is terrible compared to the mannequins, but who cares? I can almost always find what I need and if I can't they're quick to call another store or have it shipped there or my house. They keep me up to date on my Real Women Dollars and seasonal coupons. They really know a thing or two about customer retention! Also, I feel like this one has a better jewelry variety than the one in Wilmington. Speaking of the one in Wilmington, nowhere near as welcoming and warm, but I'll save that for another review.

Unfortunately, the clothing is expensive, the shirt styles rarely suit me, and the construction quality (overall, company wide) has gone downhill (jeans that I bought 5+ years ago are lasting better than pairs I bought two years ago--and the same with undies). That said, it's not a fault of THIS specific location, so I didn't knock any stars off for those things...I just want to make you aware. I would recommend this location for the sales staff...and recommend you wait for sales (like BOGO bras), hit the Clearance rack, or get on their mailing list for coupons.
