I love this thrift store!!! However, the last time I went a male volunteer (tall, white, dressed in dark clothing, tons of rings) asked for my number as I walked out (I had my daughter with me). That's never happened before at that location and it was EXTREMELY off putting. Haven't been since. Volunteers: please don't hit on any of the patrons of that establishment.... This thrift store is literally ran by the Onslow Victim's Center. Practice discernment and have discipline. read more

This is an awesome thrift store! They are easy to find and are found in the New River Shopping Center. You'll find a good amount of parking. They are constantly organizing and making the store better. It's easy to figure their prices and donation times/days because they have signs from the outside of the store and throughout the store letting you know store information and prices. This thrift store is mainly clothing, but you'll find some household items, furniture, books, bags, accessories, shoes, and other miscellaneous items. When you enter, you'll find the donation area close to the registers (to your left, at the front of the store) and smaller accessories around the same area. beyond that, is furniture, household items, frames, glassware, sheets, and electronics. On the right side of the store you'll find clothing that are grouped together by colors and item type (tshirts, coats, seasonal items, dresses, etc). You'll also find that more specialty brands (like LuLa Roe) are found up front as well. They have a few dressing rooms found next to the dresses and at the back of the store you'll find the books, bags, shoes and accessories. Their prices are awesome and you'll pay the same price for like items, unless they're otherwise priced differently (which you'll find those items tagged with a different price). It's moderately clean but well-run by friendly folks. You can find some nice things with items priced comparably to other secondhand stores. I enjoy their $1 bin in the back, well-priced linens, craft items, and holiday items! Today, they had a special $1 sale on all clothing items. How fun! They accept donations a few days a week (Friday, Saturday, and Monday) - be warned - they will reject your donation if it's not the allotted date though. Nice gem in Jville! read more

I love thrift stores because of the treasures you can find! I'm in town visiting my boyfriend and decided to check out things to do when I found this thrift store on yelp. I like finding thrift stores that aren't just the typical goodwill and give their profits to loca organizations. I love the name too, so cute. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but always have things in mind that I could use if I find them. I have been looking for some ankle boots, but didn't find any here unfortunately I did find a cute bag, a few books, a cribbage board, and a pair of nice REI workout pants! The prices are so good and we were in and out pretty quickly. Everything came to just about $10! It's really nice to be able to support a local business that gives back while also getting some new (for me) things The store was also very clean and organized! read more

I always love finding a good thrift store, and Finders Keepers is pretty good. I mean, as far as Jacksonville goes for thrifting. It is located in the New River Shopping Center towards the back of the strip mall area. It's actually quite large, and they have a lot of things to choose from. Clothes, shoes, bags, luggage, toys, furniture, glassware, etc etc. My friend goes in all the time and always tells me about this badass stuff she gets there, but I have yet to score anything as cool as she has. Maybe she's getting all the good stuff? One thing you want want to know before you go is, I did recently donate a ton of stuff there and what I found out is that the proceeds from the shop go to the Onslow Women's Shelter. Then the next time I was in the store I noticed along the back wall there are a LOT of white shirts hung on the wall with names, ages, dates and cause of death to the woman or child. Pretty flipping depressing to look at while you're shopping, but I guess it's getting the point across. Anyways, if you want to support a great non-profit company, you should shop here. If you are doing some retail therapy to help you out of a depression or funk, maybe skip this one for the day. read more

This store is the best Ive been in because every time I go in there I always come out with $50 or more of stuff. So I always have luck in here. I love the cause too. Helping women at the shelter and its important to help this charity. This store gets a BIG 5 STARS LOVE IT!!! read more
