I have been looking for something very specific for my living room and I have tried other used furniture store. I just haven't found what I wanted yet so I drove to the foundry. The parking lot is less to be desired. It was definitely lots of holes and bumps and you need to go very slow.But II loved how. They? Had. The individual booths. Set up? Almost like a cinnamon roll style so you can go through the outer edge and just kind of work your way into the center. Each booth is run by a different person so their styles are unique no. 2 booths are the same so if you're looking for eclectic items. never shopping at the foundry again!! had a diaper bag for my NEWBORN and was told they had to hold it upfront and if i need a wipe they will give it to me and was told she doesnt care if its my sons stuff?!? i told them i will leave and never come back and was followed by the manager to my car as i was trying to leave after i told them i dont want to talk to them that i will not be coming back. the manager was still saying smart stuff calling me a child?! and i kept telling her to leave us alone and she threatened me by saying she is calling the law and harassing me as im trying to leave. ive never felt so disrespected in my life. ive been going there for 3 years now what a disappointment. read more

I love thrifting and consignment shops and this place is a consignment MALL! I had heard the tales of the Foundry and while in Jacksonville for work decided to go in. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, and their signs are two vehicles with banners that say Foundry on them. Upon walking in though, you will see one side of the "mall" with individual booths and the left side is more of a flea market-esq area but still individual areas. The left side has everything from video games booths, clothing, jewlery, toys, furniture, military supplies and so much more. I really feel if you are looking for a certain type of furniture, you should check out this location (the left hand side was cheaper we found than the right), but also you can find various knick-knacks and decor too. I really enjoyed just perusing the many aisles and looking at the goods. read more

Wow! We just came back in today and they've definitely made some improvements. When we walked in, first of all, the AC was working so it was nice and cool in there. They've definitely improved the cleanliness and organization in the store. There were new kiosks set up that looked very nice, the clothing section looks much better and there isn't a weird smell in that area of the store anymore. The lady up front was very nice and welcomed us in and said goodbye as we walked out too. The furniture in this establishment is an absolute steal. I saw nice dressers in there valued at $100-$300 when those same dressers would be retailed at over a grand anywhere else. We drove from Wilmington for the day to antique and stopped by here to see what it had to offer. Not much. Mostly flea market and high prices for it too. One booth had signs displaying 30% off/No furniture and i saw a lamp for $40 i liked and was more reasonable at $28 on sale. Once at checkout i told older female cashier it was 30% off and she made me go back to booth and take a picture of the sign, not believing me!!! But i did and then she called dealer to verify it!!! Dealer said her many signs were wrong, she had meant to say only furniture!!! From the day before too...so she would not allow any discount at all on lamp while cashier pondered if it was considered furniture!!!! Just not right and a man came by and said it was too many signs for him to remove for the dealer!!! So i left without that lamp and told them my first visit there was also my last, horrible customer service to be treated first as a liar and then not to give ANY discount because of the dealers stupid mistake making her signs.... Plus there was a screaming kid the whole time we were in there whose mother ignored him and everyone else had to suffer his screams even when in checkout line.....terrible experience, don't waste your time here since they don' t care about treating customers right. read more

OVERPRICED JUNK. Everytime I enter this establishment, my jaw drops at the prices! Some of the stuff I wouldn't pay half of what they're asking! It's obviously all cheap hotel furniture. The place has good inventory and is usually fun to walk around but the man working the register today was extremely rude to my wife. She only tired today be polite and kind and he returned that with glares and a very poor attitude. Subpar service and it is quite disappointing. Great antique and knicknack warehouse. You can find custom made, antque, unique, or just weathered furniture here. I found a beautiful vanity for my daughter that was very durable with large mirror for 125.00. They have special dates that bring in a larger selection of items it is worth placing their number on the fridge to check in regularly. Great way to spend a lazy sat with the kiddos. read more

This is a neat store. It's big. Lots of old vintage stuff and some new things. When you walk in, on the right theres these little storage unit style sections. On the left open space with lots more things. Big and small. There was a section where you can build your own table. All the parts are there, you just gotta pick. Do not go there furniture shopping as it's a complete waste of your time. All of the furniture is old and seems to be bulk from a motel. Extremely overpriced. Most of it I wouldn't take if it were given to me to be honest. The vendors however are a different story. Some are very reasonably priced. Some not so much. Seemed promising for secondhand furniture but once my husband and I got there we quickly realized what a ripoff it is. They have what is obviously old, gross hotel and probably nursing home furniture, by the looks (and smell) of it. And all UNBELIEVABLY overpriced! Absolute dumpster looking furniture that I wouldn't take for free or even sit on at all for that matter, and they're charging top dollar! It is actually laughable that they think they can get what they're asking for complete garbage. We will not be returning. It's only a matter of time before they go out of business. Only a fool would buy their trash. They DO have rentable booths and those vendors could be a hit and miss on finding something decent, depending on what you're looking for, but still no stellar deals there either. I don't like antiques, but I found items and entire booths that are modern, you just have to look. I will never shop here again. The owner was extremely rude. Called a customer cheap when he tried to negotiate prices. The furniture is very dirty and over priced. I wanted to get a sectional, but the price was way too high. I attempted to negotiate and was told that they couldn't reduce the price because it's donated by hospice and the donors set the price. The same day I left I go online and see that it was reduced by more than $200. Wow! Nasty people! I will never shop here again. Idk if they treat all their customers like this or just the black ones. At first I was excited to go check this place out. It looked like a large warehouse with a large second hand furniture selection that I could redo as a hobby of mine. Truth be told it is a warehouse full of second hand bulk furniture with poor selection. It is all clearly outdated hotel furniture. It is obvious because they will have 20 of the same gross looking couches or even 50 of the exact same end tables. The problem with this is they are asking absolutely UNREASONABLE prices for these old worn out pieces of furniture. For example they will have multitudes of the same night stand and list it for $85. They are utterly mad. When asked if they could cut the price to a still overpriced $40 they simply said "no". My recommendation is to pay the same price for new furniture at a different hole in the wall furniture store in Jacksonville, or you will be paying your hole pay check to have your grandpas basement in your home. read more

This place is a great place to dive into and search for some hidden treasures. Yes, you have to look and yes, it is a warehouse. They obviously buy out hotels which I think is a really great idea.
