I have been looking for something very specific for my living room and I have tried other used furniture store. I just haven't found what I wanted yet so I drove to the foundry. The parking lot is less to be desired. It was definitely lots of holes and bumps and you need to go very slow. But II loved how. They? Had. The individual booths. Set up? Almost like a cinnamon roll style so you can go through the outer edge and just kind of work your way into the center. Each booth is run by a different person so their styles are unique no. 2 booths are the same so if you're looking for eclectic items. Definitely check out the foundry you just might find what you're looking for there.

The best place if you love to thrift and look for antiques! They have such a huge collection of things with individual vendors that you can easily lose track of time and spend all day here! Whether you're looking for antiques, furniture, records or new locally made things this is definitely the place that will have them!

Todays best find! Hand painted Fenton uranium glass.

Got recommended this place by a family member and was pleasantly surprised! Prices were very fair and the stalls were very well organized. I ended up finding some real gems and will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! They accept all major credit cards however there is a 3% fee that applies to all purchases so you may want to go to the ATM before I'd you don't want to pay more!

The Foundry is a great place to find one of a kind items! I highly recommend you walk the entire place. You'll be sure to find the perfect gift or item.

I love thrifting and consignment shops and this place is a consignment MALL! I had heard the tales of the Foundry and while in Jacksonville for work decided to go in. It looks a little sketchy from the outside, and their signs are two vehicles with banners that say Foundry on them. Upon walking in though, you will see one side of the "mall" with individual booths and the left side is more of a flea market-esq area but still individual areas. The left side has everything from video games booths, clothing, jewlery, toys, furniture, military supplies and so much more. I really feel if you are looking for a certain type of furniture, you should check out this location (the left hand side was cheaper we found than the right), but also you can find various knick-knacks and decor too. I really enjoyed just perusing the many aisles and looking at the goods.

This place is Awesome, beautiful, and huge. They have anything you want......antique, vintage, modern, wood, new, furniture, decor, clothes, toys, literally anything but Weapons, porn or alcohol. What makes this place even more awesome...... the people that work there....Brian, John, Michael, Preston and my favorite red head Karen, family friendly, and pet friendly. Stop by! you won't regret it. I promise.

Please stop by at the Your Gypsy Wagon to pick up some deodorant. My favorite is the sage/lavender blend and the ylang ylang blend. I recently bought a piece of jewelry that I love and wear. Also, the macrame is solid and durable, well crafted with uniqueness. She crafts the macrame onto local drift wood and adds in Shells from North Carolina's coastal waters.

We drove from Wilmington for the day to antique and stopped by here to see what it had to offer. Not much. Mostly flea market and high prices for it too. One booth had signs displaying 30% off/No furniture and i saw a lamp for $40 i liked and was more reasonable at $28 on sale. Once at checkout i told older female cashier it was 30% off and she made me go back to booth and take a picture of the sign, not believing me!!! But i did and then she called dealer to verify it!!! Dealer said her many signs were wrong, she had meant to say only furniture!!! From the day before too...so she would not allow any discount at all on lamp while cashier pondered if it was considered furniture!!!! Just not right and a man came by and said it was too many signs for him to remove for the dealer!!! So i left without that lamp and told them my first visit there was also my last, horrible customer service to be treated first as a liar and then not to give ANY discount because of the dealers stupid mistake making her signs.... Plus there was a screaming kid the whole time we were in there whose mother ignored him and everyone else had to suffer his screams even when in checkout line.....terrible experience, don't waste your time here since they don' t care about treating customers right.

After moving to the area, it was interesting to see what thrift stores were available around me. I…read morewas initially sent to their donation center. From what I was told, it used to be the thrift store and donation center, but they moved the thrift store to this location and kept the previous location as a donation center only. I've also been told that pricing is done at the donation center, so if you are at check out and don't have a price tag, than they won't be able to sell the item to you because they'll need to send it back to be re-priced and then brought back out to the sales floor. With the new location, they are in the process of renovating the store. They are pretty much organizing the store to be more shopper friendly, especially with them adding another dressing room area (at the moment there is only 1 dressing room and it can back up if people tend to bring a lot of clothes in with them). Walking into the store, you'll find the register to your left. The shoes and some accessories are to your right. On the right side of the store is the women's clothing and the left side of the store is the men's and children's clothing. The items are organized by type and color. You will have to go through the clothes to find sizes. You'll find household goods, decorations and furniture in the back of the store. They do have weekly color sales and on Fridays they will have that color be 99 cents for clothing and half off everything else. They also give out Military discounts (just provide your ID at checkout). They do price items pretty similarly (such as all shorts will be $2.50, unless they're brand name, then they will be priced higher), but you'll be able to find different items for a good price. This store has been getting more and more organized in the past couple months and the people are pretty nice (especially Ms. Marina at the register.... she's the friendly lady that talks with everyone and at the moment has vibrant red hair). Overall, I would recommend coming here to find different items you didn't think you'd need/want until you see it.

So... do you want to run a "collectables/antique store" or do you want to run a "thrift store"?…read more#1. If you want to run a collectables/antique store the first thing you need to do is stop calling yourself a thrift store when pricing items as if you are running a collectables/antique store. #2. If you want to run a collectables/antique store items that you believe are valuable must be authenticated, cleaned up, displayed properly, and prices must be in line with the collectable or antique market values, whatever the market will bear at the time the item is being sold. Being a collectables/antique store requires expert level knowledge and attention to minute detail, unlike a thrift store. #3. Throwing things in a pile on filthy shelves with dollar store items and trash and pricing them like they are antiques or collectables without any of the proper steps outlined in #2 is simply an attempt to scam unwary consumers. #4. Props to you if you want to run a thrift store, this is a truly needed service in our community. Pricing needs to reflect the values of "thriftiness". No special attention needed for items you intended to sell in your thrift store. Just put the stock out and price as if it were a garage or estate sale of items of unknown value or quality. #5. Attempting to "police" your thrift store for "flippers" ends in the result described in #3. If you want to be a thrift store, be a thrift store, if you want to be a collectable/antique store, be a collectables/antique store. #6. This is HUGE, if your items have been donated, you received them FREE OF CHARGE! Think really hard about how you answer this... How can you, with a decent heart and soul, price your items so high that the ones who truly need them, can not afford them?? You're basically stealing from good-hearted souls who think a needy child will receive their donation at a very reasonable price...or an elderly person on a limited budget will be able to afford their donated items? You're ensuring that only resellers and collectors will be able to purchase the FREE items! You're making a huge profit off of FREE items that are donated for the needy! You simply don't get it or do you?
