I'll be honest I love me a dive bar!!! I didn't get to catch any Karaoke. Although there was a poker tournament going on which I wish I played. The vibes were good and everyone was friendly. Went here on the recommendation of a neighbour and ended up absolutely regretting it. The doorman decides who he likes and who he doesn't because before we could even get into the second door he was shoving us back. Highly suggest you consider ANY other dive bar if you are interested in something good! If a highway bar has no business on a Saturday, maybe you should know the red flags. read more

Just left there and Marina should NEVER be anyone's bartender. I have been there multiple times with no issue. Maybe she's having a bad day but don't involve me in it. I came in and ordered a lemon drop. She made it and I sent to pay. I used my paycard because I like how it tracks my money. She inserts the card instead of scanning it. My paycard is old and doesn't have a chip. So, I give her my bank card instead and she runs that. Fine. I point out to her that she didn't actually scan my card and she called me a scammer. I tried to show her the app that comes with my paycard and she continued to refer to me as a scammer. I told her that she was stupid for not listening to me. Drank my drink and left. Oh, Marina's. I went here with my sister and our friend Tina at around 9:30pm on a Saturday night, and we were lucky to find a table. It was crowded when we arrived and got busier as the night went on. Karaoke every single night?? Wow. And smoking? You'll definitely smell like a smokey bar after you leave here. Not necessarily my favorite kind of atmosphere but we ended up having a good time for girls night. The girls ordered cheese fries and they looked delicious -- crisp fries covered in gooey nacho cheese and plenty of chives, served super hot. They have a pretty decent menu here, typical bar foods and sandwiches. I wouldn't recommend ordering any speciality drinks, this is really a very divey spot and it's so busy at the bar. Just grab a beer or a vodka soda and then fade away into the crowd and enjoy the music. Maybe you'll be like me and go on a night when everyone who's singing is a choir teacher or involved in the music world and they all sound really good and they're all singing Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey so you're too scared to go up and sing Jewel! As I am belting out Purple Rain on Tuesday night with my old friends cheering me on, I realize that this is the good life. Friends who have been there for me since middle school, $2 kamikaze shots, $2 royal u know whats, $6 draft ptchers, and a really amazing small menu that is truly delicious. I had the nachos and they were amazing! Simple things at a simple, no frills, down home bar. THAT is the good life.... Marinas is just a bar, where everyone knows everyone. shuffleboard table, neon coors sign, bill is always sitting at the end of the bar.....a few flat screens line the walls for games, and it really is just like home. If you are black if you have melanin in your skin please do go to this br unless you want the cops called on you for absolutely no reason. Please don't come to this place! The place is decent but they will overcharge your tab. After seeing all the negative reviews I made sure to keep track of what I ordered. After adding everything up my tab should have been about $30 next thing I know I'm being charged $50!!! After disputing the tab with the short blonde lady which literally is beyond intoxicated. She starts threatening me saying that everything is on camera! After I repeatedly stand my ground she starts making up random excuses why I'm being charged extra. Eventually I get another lady help me and get everything sorted out. But honestly it is not worth the hassle. Please stay away and don't get scammed from that lady. My experience here was nothing remarkable, or memorable, really. The waitress was nice, and I got to try a beer I've never had before, so at the very least the place gets great points on those counts. I came here for the karaoke, a big mistake, with a few friends of mine. It was crowded as hell and I didn't sign up because the wait was far too long, which sucked since I was getting off work by 11:30pm. The DJ a little on the arrogant and uncaring side, and I noticed my friends never got to sing yet people that signed up after them went up multiple times, suggesting the DJ is one of those that doesn't follow a line up, but pushes people that tip him up to the front. That is a horrible practice, in my mind, and by far skewed my desire to come back for karaoke. Especially since I have my usual places. Now parking, that was a nightmare in of itself. On a crowded night, it's no surprise, but they need more than just a small gravel lot. Would I come back here? Maybe for the food and maybe when its earlier in the day and they arent busy. Was there last night and enjoyed the cheap drinks (Cheap F**ks are still $2, as are the Kamikazes. $1 Jello Shots and $7 pitchers), cheese fries and karaoke. Had everything from hick pop country to Johnny Cash and Elvis. The lady running the karaoke has one hell of a voice! New to the Keller area, found this unique dive bar for the entertainment of a first date! Kareoke was fantastic! Excellent selection of songs, with a wide variety of performances ....not just the same old songs one expects to hear!! A little smoky but if you can snag the pool table in the back, there are ceiling fans and a window AC unit to keep the air flowing....just like the booze! Super fun time, must visit! read more

Met some friends at this hole in the wall one night for some drinks. Mixed crowd. Karaoke every night. Cheap drinks, and stiff. Holy moly that vodka snuck up on me. Pool tables in the back. And shuffle board. My husband and his friends met some of the regulars playing shuffle board and got along with them great. Everyone in the place was friendly. Crowd was mixed and varied in age. Looks a little run down on the outside but it's all smiles on the inside. I sought a new karaoke place so we could celebrate my 40th .. I went in a week prior and met Rosa the waitress. She was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome. I explain to her that I wanted to come somewhere to celebrate my husband and I birthday. So we decided that that was going to be the place. Our night started out fine and we got there early so we can eat and we had a different waitress which was very nice as well. Once the DJ got there we were having fun until later on in the night when we noticed that he was doing less karaoke and more on his phone and chatting with his friends. He called my husband up again to sing; my husband explained to him he already had sang that song which we have video taped earlier in the day.. he was very disrespectful to my husband and then started screaming profanity to our party. I approach the owner who did nothing and allow him to do this he kept yelling and saying this is his house so I proceeded to walk up towards him to tell him it's not his house it's Marina's house when his chick attacked me. Threw me to the ground .. Mind you I should have called the cops on her low life person that she is. For the DJ and The owner to allow that to go on is horrible business. She did nothing!!! It could be an amazing place .. with a new owner that cares about her customers and a DJ that would do just his job .. The waitress were the only thing that was worried about the business. My advice to them to quit that job and go to better karaoke places. , to think that I serve for worthless piece of crap people like him and the owner. read more

Was cut off after 2 beers and 1 whiskey, as of this review I do not know why. The main bartender is the daughter of the owner. Repeatedly yells at mom (owner) for no apparent reason during normal service hours. This bartender has free reign, and if she does not like you for any reason you will be cut off. This is regardless of intoxication level. Truly a sad story considering this one reviewer can sway where 4 hotels worth of out of town hotel guests go for a night out. The food is some of the best bar food you'll find, I'll give it that. However, the owner of the bar and the employees will chase off any decent person fast enough. The only good bartender doesn't even get paid or gets her tips when on credit/debit card (the owner keeps it all to herself,) so TAKE CASH. They claim to have specials, but it's the same two drinks EVERY. DAMN. NIGHT. And if you're going to sing with some of their karaoke DJs at night, I hope to hell you know how to sing or they will complain about how terrible you are. Sometimes, to your face. I met a guy who is a frequent customer at Marinas, he took me there on several occasions and actually got me on stage to sing for the first time of my life. Now me and this guy "Aaron Williams" are broken up and he told me if I go to marinas he will have me kicked out. Shortly after he said that he then proceeded to say that he will have everyone there make me feel really uncomfortable to where I would want to leave. It is sad because I feel like this place has changed me and opened up my horizons more. Aaron Williams cheated on me with another woman and then knowingly gave me an std and he sent it through a text informing me. Why would someone be so vindictive and want to hurt someone who did nothing but compliment them. I really hope when I do come Marina doesn't allow this type of foolish childish behavior and I will be made to feel welcome and not punished for just meeting one of her regulars and us not "working out".
