The constant change of staff makes it difficult for them to understand the pricing so they will overcharge you and try to make it seem like it was you. I know they heated it up, but I found mine to be ever so slightly cool on the inside, but it wasn't a huge deal. The rigatoni had a sharp zing without it being overpowering, and it was honestly just a starch attack. The garlic knots were a star! I had to run an errand crosstown on the UES so I was on the bus and was one stop away from the crosstown bus I needed to take when I noticed this location and I had never tried their pizza before. They're known for square thick and thin slices but I wasn't super hungry so I noticed a Chicken Parm slice and I ordered one of those and a Diet Coke. I grab garlic, oregano, parm cheese and crushed red pepper and start to eat. It was pretty good, not too cheesy, nice crispy cutlet pieces and dollops of ricotta cheese. The slice could have been a bit warmer but I already was eating it and felt funny bringing it back to the counter. The people there were friendly and helpful and overall clean inside. I enjoyed the pizza but I think next time I might try a different slice if I'm nearby. read more

I was a big fan of the crispness of the crust on the square slice which was generously covered with pepperoni. The Buffalo chicken was a hit, very unique. Upon going to pay I unknowingly presented a counterfeit bill for payment. Their employee immediately decided I was a grifting con artist and this was how I made a living. I immediately pulled out another form of payment but was met with you came to the wrong store for that, and he went on to refuse to take my alternate form of payment. Even flat out saying I came in his store to get over. It was not my tone, my response at all or even the fact that I presented a counterfeit bill. I'll give you two guesses what race I am! There were other people in the store who seemed embarrassed for me. Another employee or what I took to be an owner came out and tried to apologize but notably did not ask us to stay and complete the order. Good thing my 6 figure paying position allows me the time to find this restaurant on every site they are on and let everyone know all about my horrible experience here. Tried the Caprese pizza this weekend and it is delicious. They put fresh mozzarella slices over the sauce and oregano flakes, then the tomato slices and basil. I added balsamic glaze over it and this is now becoming my new favorite. The MVP square is also very good, but a very tiny piece, so you will def need a couple of slices or a side salad to make a meal out of it. Expensive, but this is Manhattan. Still need to try the cauliflower crust. read more

Rating 3.5/5. I had read rave online reviews about Marinara so I decided to give it a try. I ordered delivery of a grandma style (thick crust) pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was decent and worth eating but slightly missed the mark. The toppings were fresh and well seasoned. The pizza was well cooked overall, but I wish the dough was crispy. The sauce could have been better, though was solid. It could have used a little bit of oregano sprinkled on top. I would not order the pepperoni and sausage grandma pizza again since I wasn't blown away. Overall I've had better pizza. Maybe next time I'll have to try their MVP or Buffalo chicken pizza as those seem to be their specialty. read more

The female at the register is very rude. I've been coming here since December 5th. I always order at the register. She was walking back and forth and not acknowledging me. The two men in front of the ovens didn't acknowledge me. I waited 10 minutes in front of the register before she finally acknowledged me. She is very rude and nonchalant. We ordered two chicken Parmesan sandwiches with vodka/pink sauce, as well as the MVP square pizza and the mozzarella sticks -- all in large quantities. They arrived on time and piping hot. Everything was delicious and we DEVOURED it. The mozzarella sticks were fresh, salty, and fried. The sandwich was also amazing, I usually don't eat that much but I ate at least a full size sandwich. The MVP pizza was also the first time I've ordered/tried the pizza. I think it's vodka sauce, pesto sauce, and marinara sauce all on a delicious crust and cheese base. Wow. It's fantastic!!!
