To say my journey with Athenix Pasadena has been extensive would be an understatement, but to keep it short & sweet keep this in mind "this location only cares if you're an influencer, if you're an average person you will get below average service". I was talked into getting a bigger surgery from my consultation to get "better results" and now 6 months post-surgery my most insecure area is now even more prominent and noticeable. I've tried contacting the staff several times only to be ignored. An excellent staff, all extremely nice- I had an arm lift done. I was off work for 20 days. I'm Extremely pleased with the after- I see nice results. Anything I could change do the procedure earlier in the spring rather than later in the season. Minor setback with a tiny infection due to the compression sleeve rubbing against the wound. The staff, doctor's were professional and friendly. I had liposuction on my flanks, upper and lower stomach and back (bra area). I spent roughly $6600, doctor Cameron did a good job, since five liters of fat can be removed two years later I'm seeking a consultation for Lipo for my stomach elsewhere since he's no longer with the company. My stomach is not as flat as I would like and I have indentations from wearing the garments. There were no post opp/aftercare instructions given and aftercare is VERY important. After the second or third follow up visit the nursing assistant advised me I had a discount towards the Lymphatic drainage should have started 24 hours after the liposuction, I wasn't aware. I had a consultation at the Pasadena Athenix location on September 20, 2018. At that time they gave me prices, but Melissa the Manager said I needed to leave a deposit of $2,000 to have the consultation with the doctor. I went ahead and left my deposit and got promised that my money would be returned if I decided not to do it after all. I called a week later to cancel the consultation with the Dr after reviewing his work more in detail. So far it has been over 2 months and my money has not been returned. I have called the Pasadena location many times and nobody seems to take charge of this problem. They keep giving me the run-around, and and no apologies. I've been really intrigued by the power of fillers now that you see it on so many people but have been so afraid to try it on my face because I just really hate needles and the idea of them in my face! I made the decision to just do it since I wanted to look my best for my upcoming wedding and Nurse Jen RN made it seem like a breeze! She carefully prepped where she would inject to decrease the definition of my smile lines. She kept me relaxed and was very professional! I felt at ease and the next thing I knew it was all over! I could see the results almost immediately, they were all gone and it all looks completely natural. I also mentioned to her that I've been having pain in my jaw as well since the stress increase the night time teeth grinding I do in my sleep. I have a nightguard but my jaw still feels really sore...to the point where my nerves in my gums were hurting. My dentist suggested short term pain relief can be possible in botox injected into the masseter muscle. So we scheduled a separate appointment for me to come back for that as well. Went in for a consultation and was met by a very friendly staff that was kind enough to offer me any coffee, tea, or water. Then I met the wonderful and beautiful Marcella who sat down with me and discussed any questions or concerns I had about the Micro Body Contouring procedure I wanted done. Then I met Dr. Marshall who was super friendly, very helpful, and gave me a realistic idea of what I would be getting done and the results that come with it. I felt very comforted knowing that Marcella and Dr. Marshall were in the room together, they made me feel at ease. Especially considering I was getting several areas done and I was beyond nervous and hyper aware of all of my surroundings. I was sure that Dr. Marshall was the doctor for me after seeing the amazing before and after procedures he had done. Marcella explained to me the financing in great detail and we proceeded. WONDERFUL is the word that describes this place! From start to finish the entire staff here has been top notch. I had lipo done on my flanks and hips along with a breast lift with Dr. Marshall. I'm one week post op and I am already so happy with my results!!! I can't stop looking at it in the mirror. Lol. From the consultation to now everyone has been so accommodating to my needs! When i first moved to L.A. about 1 year ago i was on the search for perfection and to find the right go-to cosmetic doctor.
