I had surgery at this place less than a year ago, not a very good experience! The girl there who talks to you about the cost of treatment I think her name is Megan, is the most friendly person as she is convincing you to get the procedures done. Promises to walk you thru the process, but once she's processed your credit card, she is a completely different person! Can't get a hold of her, does not help and doesn't even acknowledge you as a patient when you're in the office for follow ups. By the way, the doctor doesn't even see you for the most important post op care appointment ( the following day post surgery). His "trusted" nurses Stephany and Theresa who by the way are not even RN , are the ones making the decision on the post op care. The doctor likes to be behind the scenes and only looks at your pictures as a post op care. The nurses literally go back and forth in and out of the room communicating questions and answers from the patient as I was in the room in pain and emotional stress. Is really really hard to get the doctor to follow up with you as a patient. Let me not even go and share my experience with the front desk staff including the so call manager! So unprofessional! That girl name Úrsula calls you "love" belittle way and so rude! That place left me so traumatized and disbelief ! Don't even like to think of the whole crew of staff in that clinic! They are just somewhat nice on the first visit as they have you signed and paid for your procedures. Once you've had the surgery, they basically show how bothered they are by your post op visits!! The staff, doctor's were professional and friendly. I had liposuction on my flanks, upper and lower stomach and back (bra area). I spent roughly $6600, doctor Cameron did a good job, since five liters of fat can be removed two years later I'm seeking a consultation for Lipo for my stomach elsewhere since he's no longer with the company. My stomach is not as flat as I would like and I have indentations from wearing the garments. There were no post opp/aftercare instructions given and aftercare is VERY important. After the second or third follow up visit the nursing assistant advised me I had a discount towards the Lymphatic drainage should have started 24 hours after the liposuction, I wasn't aware. After I paid and having surgery the customer service, went downhill from there. read more

An excellent staff, all extremely nice- I had an arm lift done. I was off work for 20 days. I'm Extremely pleased with the after- I see nice results. Anything I could change do the procedure earlier in the spring rather than later in the season. Minor setback with a tiny infection due to the compression sleeve rubbing against the wound. I had a consultation at the Pasadena Athenix location on September 20, 2018. At that time they gave me prices, but Melissa the Manager said I needed to leave a deposit of $2,000 to have the consultation with the doctor. I went ahead and left my deposit and got promised that my money would be returned if I decided not to do it after all. I called a week later to cancel the consultation with the Dr after reviewing his work more in detail. So far it has been over 2 months and my money has not been returned. I have called the Pasadena location many times and nobody seems to take charge of this problem. They keep giving me the run-around, and and no apologies. I've been really intrigued by the power of fillers now that you see it on so many people but have been so afraid to try it on my face because I just really hate needles and the idea of them in my face! I made the decision to just do it since I wanted to look my best for my upcoming wedding and Nurse Jen RN made it seem like a breeze! She carefully prepped where she would inject to decrease the definition of my smile lines. She kept me relaxed and was very professional! I felt at ease and the next thing I knew it was all over! I could see the results almost immediately, they were all gone and it all looks completely natural. I also mentioned to her that I've been having pain in my jaw as well since the stress increase the night time teeth grinding I do in my sleep. I have a nightguard but my jaw still feels really sore...to the point where my nerves in my gums were hurting. My dentist suggested short term pain relief can be possible in botox injected into the masseter muscle. So we scheduled a separate appointment for me to come back for that as well. I'm more than happy with all the results! Went in for a consultation and was met by a very friendly staff that was kind enough to offer me any coffee, tea, or water. Then I met the wonderful and beautiful Marcella who sat down with me and discussed any questions or concerns I had about the Micro Body Contouring procedure I wanted done. Then I met Dr. Marshall who was super friendly, very helpful, and gave me a realistic idea of what I would be getting done and the results that come with it. I felt very comforted knowing that Marcella and Dr. Marshall were in the room together, they made me feel at ease. Especially considering I was getting several areas done and I was beyond nervous and hyper aware of all of my surroundings. I was sure that Dr. Marshall was the doctor for me after seeing the amazing before and after procedures he had done. Marcella explained to me the financing in great detail and we proceeded. Athenix overall was VERY ACCOMMODATING in regards to my concern about missing work due to the pre-op appointments I had to do (labwork and what not). They made it possible to get EVERYTHING done on that day which I greatly appreciated. Lupita was my nurse for the vitals check and she was super great and made me feel at ease and comfortable with everything. Once I got everything finalized I was given all my paperwork and given instructions on how to proceed with pre-op preparation and what to expect afterwards. Thankfully they had held a surgery date prior to accommodate to my work schedule and now I have extra days for recovery time without missing too much work, which was a huge plus. WONDERFUL is the word that describes this place! From start to finish the entire staff here has been top notch. I had lipo done on my flanks and hips along with a breast lift with Dr. Marshall. I'm one week post op and I am already so happy with my results!!! I can't stop looking at it in the mirror. Lol. From the consultation to now everyone has been so accommodating to my needs! If I needed clarification on certain questions they were always open to hear it even during their after hours by providing me my surgeons # (& I had A LOT of questions).
