The service is great, the food is plentiful and the vibe is old school. I'm a big Joe's fan. I grew up going to Joe's of Westlake. While I do love the new original joes, this takes me way back to Joe's of Westlake. The food is good ole Italian and like I said the waiter awesome. We all got our food quickly and it was delicious! Parking is adequate for the location size. Would 100% come back. Also the Joe's special Spinach?!? NO WORDS. JUST TRY IT!

This place gets 5 stars for old school charm and quirkiness but the decor needs a refresh and so does the menu. Servers are friendly and witty with a wry humor of folks that know their dry martinis and steak dinners. Even the valet parkers are charming and cool. I loved my martini but that was the highlight of the meal. The Caesar salad was nice but a little soggy, the petrole sole suffered from a similar water logged tendency. I want to come back to find the perfect dish but am in no hurry.

I took a nice drive with family to this really nice restaurant called Marin Joes restaurant really great Ambiance the service was amazing and the food was Epic I ordered the porterhouse with a side of ravioli with Parmesan cheese on top now let me tell you the Aujus is extremely delicious and definitely on point the real deal . The flavors from it and the porterhouse comes together so smoothly . The Au jus is extremely delicious and addictive you just can't stop won't stop. So yeah we're done this way. Come on through. You definitely will enjoy it because they do it right here. Well, I'm not trying to be rude, but I have to attend to my epic food now.

As always it is perfect! I had the Caesar salad, then Chicken Parm with Spaghetti and Meat sauce. All is delicious! Dessert was Zabaglione, and that is a very special dish and difficult to find. A superb meal, and so much fun sitting at the counter and watching the grill. Such a great dinner. Highly recommended!

A great classic that makes me feel nostalgic for homemade Italian food with great staff. I have to say, we had reservations for 6:45pm and we were on time and had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Not good when you are hangry. Our waiter, Pete, who has been at Marin Joe's forever was absolutely great! He totally changed my mood instantly. Loved his personality & his candor. Great characters that work at Marin Joe's. Ambiance at the bar area was casual with the tv playing SF 49er's vs Las Vegas Raiders. Not too loud but just right. Food was 9 out of 10! Great great great Italian food. I would have given a 10 if I got the fresh pasta but even still... mouth watering, hot, spiced right perfect & delicious! Thank you for your giving us a place to gather and have great food.

Always a good time and good meal at Marin Joes! The hamburgers are my go to for lunch to dinner time meals. But the breakfast is always great too. The staff is very friendly and will give you specials and their favorites. They've got a nice bar if you're going to celebrate something, or just want to unwind. Nice booths for groups of 4 and tables set up in the back room for larger groups.

Funny fact ~ we arrived without reservation and were asked if we would mind if we could please finish our dinner within 2 hours as our table had a booked reservation...we of course agreed and thought it was very professional to let us know instead of turning us away. The food came out hot, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt thoughtful and well executed. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance: classy and cozy, but still lively and fun. It feels special without feeling stuffy. I want to sit in bar area next time. Such a great overall experience. We'll absolutely be back.

The bar is tiny but mighty -- great martinis, great energy, and absolutely worth getting there early if you want to snag a seat. It's easily the best part of the experience. Dinner in the main dining room is where things shift. It's loud, full of big party tables, and conversation can get tough. Still, the food has its highlights. The onion rings (really more like a mountain of crispy onion strings with a homemade dipping sauce) are a must‑start. The scallops over risotto -- a special that night -- were fantastic, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The ribs had great seasoning but were unfortunately more fat and bone than actual meat, which was disappointing for a dish that should be a crowd‑pleaser. Dessert is where Buckeye wins you back. The s'mores pie is the indulgent treat you didn't know you needed, and the baked lemon pudding leans more toward a lemon cake layered with custard and huckleberry jam -- bright, comforting, and memorable. A special shoutout to our waitress, who was an absolute gem. You could tell she was dealing with some less‑than‑kind patrons, yet she stayed warm, patient, and genuinely lovely throughout.

So you get a small and intimate feel where seated outdoors (so pleasant) or indoors. They have live jazz style music playing. There's some shade in the mini courtyards outside seating but even if there's sun, they have portable patio umbrellas. Staff immediately brought out cushions and a water bowl for my fur babies; they were so sweet!! Bathrooms are clean . Oh and indoors is soooo cute. Rustic but cozy!! Happy hour is 4-6 pm at the "bar section" only, separate from the main restaurant. Go early as its first come first serve. I tried the crispy buffalo wings which was good. But the walla walla waffle chips with onion dip was phenomenal. Such deep rich flavor dip. I also tried the half dozen raw oysters; the accompanying sauce and lemon enhanced the flavor perfectly. My server Maya was so sweet and patient. She checked in at the appropriate times and frequency. Gave awesome recommendations and just had such a warm and happy demeanor. Our kids sucked down there super small cokes that come in the combo while they waited for their food. As soon as we got our food, we pulled over and started eating the fries or some of the worst coldest driest rubbery fries I've ever gotten from any drive-through. The chicken sandwich was a joke. The bun was so dry and crumbly, I had to peel all of the rock hard edges off just to bite into the sandwich and when I did, the grilled chicken was rubbery, stale, and lukewarm I can't believe we waited so long and the food wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting there half the night before they gave it to us. I'm all for paying high price for quality food. If it's worth it, this sadly was not. all four of us got home and complained individually about our experience. Pretty sad for a $75 drive-through order which consisted of three combos and an extra hamburger. Definitely will make efforts to avoid this place in the future. I feel bad, giving poor ratings, but I also do not like when restaurants rest on their laurels have high priced food yet the quality and the experience don't match.

I'm glad we ate in as the burger and fries would have been soggy if we took it to go. I also ordered water but had to go get it myself. Why even put it on the menu? Also, the pickles had some heat which is good in my book.
