I sent a message to them & they confirmed my suspicions. Carl (the owner) reached out to me & explained what happened & offered me a replacement bottle plus a wonderful charcuterie board with free samples. I have never been to their winery and boy I was glad that I went, a really nice & welcoming space. A must try is the 999 Broadway Dyngus Reserve, a great Easter time wine. The wine is also sold at the Broadway Market during holidays. I will definitely be going back for more!

We had a tasting flight of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling and Call me a cab. Each wine lacked much complexity and had a watery element. The whites were pleasant on a warm day but didn't seem to have much of the traditional characteristics of a Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio. Call me a Cab has a great name but I couldn't finish the sample. Wife ordered a glass of Pink Bubbles that was the best of the wines tasted. We did buy a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Usually I buy a bottle or two from each vineyard we visit both to support their efforts and to take a second taste while not overlooking vines. Food wise we kept it simple and shared a Canadian Flatbread with mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon, pepperoni, and mushrooms. Hit the spot. Ridge Road Winery is well worth a visit if in the area. This would also be a nice spot to hold a private event.

After our son ran his race on the beautiful grounds of the winery, we sat outside overlooking the pond where we had a delicious lunch. However, they didn't alert us until we were there that they wouldn't be able to serve us many food choices because of the wedding going on! We drive 45 out of our way to find that out so that was a very disappointing dinner. We ended up having to go somewhere else for the actual dinner. We had the wine flight while we were there, it was tasty of course. It was beautiful scenery with beautiful people and the pond was gorgeous.
