On 11/17/18 they came to my home and were supposed to do a trim on 2 trees but what I ended up with was 3/4 of one tree done well and then they cut down one tree entirely. The crew did a good job of cleaning up and cutting what they could from the cherry picker. Believe they had 6 people cleaning, 1 in bucket, and one supervising. The issues I have is not only did they remove a tree, but it's now 11/29/18 and i have heard no mention of how they are going to fix my problem. Just said they will get back and no return calls. This was my home they impacted and devalued and they just went ghost. I will say that people need not worry too much because in 15 years I was the only person who had got his tree cut down on accident. (Such a great thing to hear after you destroy my property). They also informed me that he would get my stump ground for free. (What a deal!!!) The whole thing seemed like a joke to everyone there. I was angry and truly just wanted everyone off my property the moment the tree got cut. I was quoted 800 for both trees to be trimmed which is 400 a hour and i will end up paying more than that for the tree I will need to replace the one they cut down. Outside the guy who cut my tree the crew was good at clean up and the half hack job on the remaining tree was because he couldn't get to it due to bucket reach and honestly I wanted them out of my yard. Marietta Tree Service is the one to call if you have a tree close to the house or in my case a swimming pool. I had a tall pine tree that was being attacked by ants. The tree was about to fall over. I knew it was going to cost a lot to have it removed but I was more concerned about the pool and house being hit by a falling tree. They did come out the day I called them and put together an estimate. At this time they are truly very busy. They did put me at the top of the list and came out the next week and removed the tree. Unbelievable how they used hoists to hold the tree up while they cut it down. They were at the end of their shift so after they laid the remainder of tree on the ground they came back the next day and cleaned it all up. The crew was highly personable and friendly. All GA boys. They really know their stuff, I would highly recommend them. I have several trees that will probably need removing and definitely call them to do the work. read more

I left a message and received a call back vey soon after that by Amy who is a peach. I was able to book someone to come within a day to take a look at all the stumps that I needed ground. Steve came out and provided so much great information and ground the stumps wonderfully. Even cleaned up the mess on the driveway. I highly recommend them for your next service. read more

They did a great job for a competitive price. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is they were hard to get on the phone at times. Although they told me that the job would take only 1 day, they didn't show up until late afternoon the first day thus causing the job to take 2 days. I would have appreciated better communication regarding arrival time and delays. Overall they did the job they were hired to do and cleaned everything up. Would definitely recommend. read more

Were able to send out someone for a free estimate the next day and I scheduled the service two days later after the quote. The representative performing the initial estimate was very knowledgable and the technicians did a great job trimming my trees. These guys have over promised and under delivered. They charged me $5,000 for one tree promising several additional services. I have calling them for months with one broken promise after another. Not honorable people. Stay clear! read more

We had them come out 10 days ago to give an estimate. They told us they would be out the following week. One excuse after another and they fail to show up day after day. VERY UNRELIABLE! And now another branch has fallen on our house. If they had done what they promised, the branch would have been gone and our house would not still be at risk. read more

Happy customer!! We highly recommend Marietta Tree Service. They take a lot of pride in their work. They removed wood debris and english ivey in our backyard and cut down a small dead tree. I met with Steve who was amazing, professional and very helpful!! He gave me an hourly estimate. I spoke to Amy at their office and she was awesome! When the owner and the men arrived, they quickly started and did an outstanding job! They were all professional, friendly and very quick. Would never recommend using Marietta Tree Service to anyone, unless they like having their scheduled service canceled on three times with less than 12 hours notice and then lied to about having someone visiting your property to assess the yard condition. Yes, their prices may be cheaper than competitors, but that does not excuse their unprofessionalism or lack of common courtesy. We chose them because of their reported 35 years of service excellence and fair pricing, but after the last sudden cancellation, we decided to take our business elsewhere. "Wayne" gave me a quote (reasonable, but not the lowest) for cutup & removal of very large storm-damage tree plus stump plus removal of collateral damaged limbs & 3 small trees. Quote was not too detailed so I sent a detailed work contract to review/accept. They continued to say they would do the job but "Wayne" wanted to see the my yard again. After two weeks of promises of date/times to relook at the damage, it was always a "no show" moment. Got tired of the stalling and excuses, so went with another contractor. They don't seem to realize your time is just as important as theirs. Don't waiste your time, unless you have a lot of it! read more
