Nice, chill spot that appears Black-owned. Ordered several Tapas that were not disappointing. Bartenders made good drinks and were very friendly and engaging. Definitely a grown and sexy spot. read more

We went on a Thursday evening for date night. It was a great vibe. Music was good, food was tasty as drinks were delicious! They also offer their taco Tuesday menu on Thursday. Our waitress was on point & gave good recommendations. We loved the Philly Eggrolls. Will definitely be going back. read more

I went to Marie's for the first time tonight based on a friend's recommendation. Everyone had raved about it, so I had high hopes. The decor is stylish, and the service was genuinely great--friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. It just didn't live up to the hype. Also, be aware they include a service charge--it's posted everywhere, so not hidden, just something to keep in mind. Honestly, this place could've been my regular hangout if the food matched the vibe and service. read more

I love the ambiance! The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the drink and food menu. I asked for a drink not on the menu and he nailed it! The lamb lollipops were the bomb! I will definitely be going back when in the Macon area. I highly recommend you visit Marie's when in Macon, Ga. read more

I LOVE Marie's. It was my first time here and James was the bartender. He was super personable and gave fantastic service. The drinks were top tier. Additionally, the decor is adorable. Music is fantastic. Last, everything was CLEAN from the bar to the restrooms. They are focused on providing the best service and atmosphere possible. Next time I will be trying out the food!! read more

Didn't know what to expect when we arrived. Had suspicions when carded at door. Didn't realize this was a hookah club that served food? Service was fantastic. Friendly yet professional and drinks were good. Food was good too. Not really my scene but overall I ain't mad. Had a good time with my crew. read more

Amazing date nite!! The vibe was perfect, food and drinks both 10/10 and the service was exceptional, especially our server, Felicia, she went above & beyond!! read more

I am new to Macon and this was my first visit to Marie's Lounge. You can tell they put a lot of effort in making the place look upscale. The staff I interacted with were friendly. Unfortunately, that was all the positives I saw in the place. They have 4 separate pages of menus. The menus are printed on this jet black glossy paper. The print is a goldish fading color which you can barely read. My first drink was The Smoked Old Fashioned and it was bitter. It was doubled smoked and I think the young lady over smoked my drink. There is sugar in the rim but my glass was sticky because she had too much syrup on the rim to hold the sugar. I had to ask for multiple napkins to keep wiping my hands due to this. I ended up drinking Titos and cranberry the rest of the night. The first 2 items I ordered to eat I sent back because they were terrible. I ordered the ceviche and vegetable egg rolls. It was obvious, whoever made them didn't know what they were doing. The ceviche was not authentic. It was missing cilantro, lime, salt and spice. I asked for some hot sauce and lime to try to make it taste better but that didn't help. I would suggest you take it off the menu or learn how to make ceviche properly. The vegetable egg rolls were extremely salty and the filling was mushy. I gave the people sitting next to me at the bar a couple of pieces of my egg rolls and they felt the same way. You couldn't tell what the vegetables were. Fortunately, the Crown Peach wings saved me. I told the people sitting next to me that if the wings weren't good, I was leaving. I was surprised when I received my check that I was still charged for the ceviche and egg rolls that I didn't eat and sent back. No one from management came to speak to me about the poor quality of my food and there wasn't any service recovery. To add injury to insult, Marie's automatically adds 18% gratuity to your bill. I was dining alone. My first and only experience at Marie's Lounge was a bust and I will not return for a second. I gave a 2 stars because of the friendly staff and the "Upscale" look. read more

My experience at Marie's was by far the worse customer ever. I made reservations 3 weeks prior to visiting and paid $100 to ensure my guest had a seat. It took over an hour to be serviced we were offered complementary shots that were water Our waitress advised she wanted to quit Russell did his best to ensure everyone was taken care of but other than him it was not worth the money This was my first and last visit I should have kept my reservations with Yollah but I wanted to give them a chance read more

The food was great, but the service could have been way better. Service was decent, but they weren't overly attentive considering we were a party of four compared to a larger party. Initially we were asked to move from where we were seated so another party could have our table. In addition, we were over charged for drinks that we didn't order. We also weren't told that there was an 18% service charge nor was there any notice on fine print that could be seen. Me being nice, I tipped, not knowing I over tipped. Therefore, I feel mislead And deceived. I would only recommend Marie's for to go orders. read more

A great lounge with a relaxing, inviting atmosphere. The drinks are fun, well made, and delicious. The food is a sensory delight from the way the food was placed on the plate, the way it smelled, the way it felt in your mouth, to the way it tasted. The service was attentive, sweet, and very helpful. Overall a very nice evening with my husband. Side note, there is a service fee added to the bill -- this goes to the bar staff and the wait staff. Since the bar staff makes the drinks which are FANTASTIC and the wait staff is brining the amazing drinks and food, we were more than willing to pay the service fee with additional tip since the food prices and drink prices were very, very reasonable. Especially given the quality of the food, entertainment, and staff. This is out new spot and highly recommended!! read more

The appetizers were disappointing being they were pricey. Some were good not great. I'd have to agree with reviewers that the gratuity charge definitely needs to be shown upfront on the handheld bc a couple of people in our party the next day expressed they did not see it when paying and neither did I until viewing the final receipt. Tipping on top of this, I still would have done but it would have been less than I did. It's water under the bridge for me as the purpose of our being there meant so much more. Would I consider returning? Absolutely Not! read more

I showed up to have a few drinks with my wife and relatives. We were all dressed very nice. I was wearing a button collard shirt, shorts and closed toe shoes per their dress code this was acceptable. When I walked in they asked me to leave due to me wearing shorts. We just came from a nice restaurant and I had no issues eating there. Not going to recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went to this restaurant last night. Upon entry the first thing I see it's a sign that reads NO REFUND. ALL SALES ARE FINALE. Oh boy..... It is a really nice environment. Music was nice. I felt safe. It was easy to find parking. The drinks were really pretty. Not very strong, but that could be because of my tolerance. I ordered the seafood dip, crab stuffed shrimp, and crab cakes for starters That was going to determine if I ordered more bc everything sounded delicious on the menu. The seafood dip was very hot when it arrived. However the other items seemed to have been pre-made and possibly left in a hot box to plate upon order. So when I received the crab cakes and crab stuffed shrimp they were...room temperature at best. Despite being room temperature the crab cakes were really good. The crab used in the stuffed shrimp were flavorful as well. But the actual shrimp was very tough to chew. So, I didn't order anything else. I do feel as though I may give Marie's one more try. May be arrive when they first open bc I do like my food hot. read more

Very slow service even when you order ahead and there are no other customers. Let's not forget un professional staff!

Beware a shot of Tequila or Patron' is $23.00 plus 18% gratuity... Yes, just a single shot. You've been warned...

I generally am not a fan of tapas, so when another couple invited my wife and I to join them at Marie's, I wasn't expecting to like it. Turns out I loved it. Genuinely friendly service created a fun and relaxed atmosphere, likewise the whole layout of the place. The food was outstanding, especially the lobster corn dogs and the lollipop lamb chops. I also had a "Smoky Old Fashioned" that arrived literally "smoking," but it was no gimmick - the smoke flavor made for a unique and pleasing variant on a well-mixed standard. The $$ can add up, but we left talking about what we were going to order when we came back. read more

Visited last Saturday and definitely will be coming back. The food, drinks, service, decor (even the bathroom lol) was every bit of the five worth it! It's Siskel and Ebert two thumbs up read more

Nice place but horrible service, make sure you pay close attention to what is being charged to your card when you open a tab. Myself and the party I was with was over charged and charged for service that was not given. Round of shot was watered down and the manager lied to our party in our face saying that he was going to take care of it only to double charge for the round of shots. When addressed the manager was no where to be found and never came out to handle the situation of the over charges on our tabs. That was my first time there and also my last. read more
