Amazing views and vibe at this rooftop bar. Stopped by for a beverage before attending a concert across the street. I ordered a Laid Back and it was so good. Just the right amount of sweetness. I would order again. My friend ordered a I gotta feeling and it was a little too spicy for her. Great staff. Very helpful. Recommend to anyone looking for a drink with a view. We did not eat but the burgers and sliders being delivered to other guests looked amazing.

Hightail rooftop bar which is located inside 45 tribute collection by Marriott. Simon was great and we had the best cocktail which was called "win, lose or draw", 75' Allman Brothers, 1975 day with butterfly pea flower. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Cozy spot atop the hotel. Lots of plusses and minuses. Minus: Like everywhere, short staffed. Patrons included the manager who drinks too much and for free Bartender talks too much, mostly about how drunk he was and hates his job Outside offers almost no shade Outside seating is cheapo, except for one set at the right - one group took over that whole area Super slow with ten patrons and one bartender - can't imagine when packed Plus: Nice views Cozy inside seating at bar and both corners Nice private room Decent wine list We would definitely return to the hotel, but stick with the dining room bar

I came with a friend on a week night. When we arrived there was no one there so we were able to easily take a seat at the bar. Service was quick because of this. I started with the Win Lose Or Draw which is a take on the French 75. Very good. I then tried the Laid Back which was also very good. Though in the moment I think I enjoyed the first cocktail a bit more. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly out to sit outside, but the outdoor area looked very nice. Inside was spacious enough. Love that the building is now a hotel and bar! Downtown has changed a lot over the last decade and this was a nice addition. There was only one bartender. Over the time I was there everyone who came through was served relatively quickly. So it seems that on a chill night one bartender works nicely enough. However, I can't imagine how service could be during busier times. Despite this I enjoyed my time and service. Next time though I really hope to be able to enjoy the outside rooftop area.

We went on 3 nights (Saturday,Sunday & Monday). Saturday night it was basically empty. We ordered 1 drink a piece which were pretty good actually, but there were only maybe 10 people including the bartender. There was NO entertainment, DJ, not even the Jukebox was playing so we left. Sunday night was karaoke and there were approx 25 people there with a DJ and it was decent until the hefty birthday girl and her buddies started twerking and acting silly on the stripper pole before they left. Sunday night we returned after hanging out downtown and realized that Robert Lee Coleman would be there, so we decided to check it out. His performance was wonderful. It is nice to see that he continues to play and enjoy his craft in his later years. I pray that the band of misfits he plays with are taking care of him and not using this elderly man for their financial benefit however meager it may be. The one young guitar player to his back left by the speaker appeared to be high/drunk not able to see or walk and had to be helped off stage. Once he sat down at a table he seemed to nod off several times before he was removed just to reappear a few minutes later full of energy and vitality. What did they do to him or give him I am not sure. But, a certain medication that will remain nameless, can be given to offset the bad effects I suspect he may have been given. Overall, I believe this place truly has potential it just needs the right owners, management, and staff to turn this place around.

It felt understated, almost too quiet. Then we spotted the staircase, and those steps just kept going. Once we reached the top, all doubt disappeared. What awaited us was an elegant, thoughtfully curated cigar lounge that immediately impressed. I don't smoke cigars and typically avoid smoking establishments altogether because the smell lingers in my hair and clothes. To my surprise, Churchill's is extremely well ventilated. When we left, I didn't smell like I'd been in a cigar lounge at all, a huge win in my book. My husband is a bourbon lover and has been searching for a spot worthy of inviting "the fellas" when they're in town. I won't say his friends are pretentious, but they are gentlemen, and this is absolutely a place for men with class and prestige. Churchill's boasts a vast selection of premium liquor, easily the largest and most impressive bourbon and whiskey collection I've personally seen. The photos online truly don't do this place justice. The ambiance has a moody, blues-club vibe, upscale, sexy, and refined. I almost forgot I was in Macon. Smooth jazz instrumentals played in the background, setting the tone perfectly. Every detail was intentional, even down to the restroom, which was immaculate and elegant. Customer service was stellar. Genesis, our bartender, was jovial, attentive, and incredibly skilled. Despite the bar being filled to capacity, she made every guest feel like they had her undivided attention. One of the owners also made a point to greet each guest personally, welcoming us with warmth and genuine hospitality, a touch that never goes unnoticed. Since we had just come from dinner, we stuck to drinks. I ordered my favorite cocktail, a strawberry lemon drop martini, and it was made perfectly. My husband enjoyed an Old Fashioned that was equally well executed. No matter how premium your liquor selection is, it means nothing without quality ingredients and knowledgeable bartenders -- Churchill's has both. I can't wait to return so we can try the food. A few things to note: there is a 20% gratuity automatically added to each bill, which was well deserved in our experience. They are card-only, no cash accepted. And lastly, make sure you're sober enough to make it back down those stairs when you leave. Churchill's on Cherry is a gem for Macon. Classy, refined, and done right. This is how it's supposed to be.

They have an extensive selection of tequilas behind the bar. We were advised they don't really have add on flavors. They only serve appetizers so you may want to grab a bite to eat beforehand if you're hungry. The service was good. It was quite early and not very crowded. It is a nice tequila lounge with the bar in a back portion of the space. It wasn't very busy when we came in so we experimented with a table right in front, but then moved to a table in the back once we discovered that the precious air conditioning was mostly flooding outside due to the open front door. Service was prompt and unobtrusive. We had a spicy margarita made with Cuervo 1800 and a tequila-based mojito. Both were well iced and tasty. While both drinks were nice as before or after dinner drinks, I would not normally drop $15 - $16 each for them. Stopping in here was more for the experience.

BYOB is a great concept, but just know you can only bring liquor, no mixers are allowed, very odd. I went there twice and both times same issue. My tab was $35 for 1 hookah, no coal changes, with my own tobacco. To the owner; your place could be packed daily if you found the right servers and added some better tobacco choices to the menu. Fumari and Tangiers are way better tobacco than Starbuzz. True hookah lover will thank you and you will see regular customers. Also try having your employees do regular coal round every 10-15 minutes. Might want to try serving hot Tea as well. I lived in vegas 10 years and from California. I think your place could be amazing!
