So thoroughly Wisconsin. You can have anything you want to eat...as long as it comes out of the lake!! Perch, bluegill, walleye...so good! And $2.00 Schlitz on Weds night. Classic Green Bay fish fry and very popular with the locals. Only open on Weds and Fri so plan accordingly!

Bluegill, cheese curds, onion rings, cod and an old fashioned

I'm always looking for a great fish fry place. We decided to try this place instead of our usual go to. We walked in behind a group of people and didn't know what the process was. The waitress was great as she told us to stand in line for a table in the dining room or grab a table in the bar if one opened. We followed the group ahead of us and waited for a table. Took just under 30 minutes but we chatted and enjoyed our drinks in line. I had the bluegill with cheese curds and my husband had cod and onion rings. We also enjoyed Makers Mark old fashioneds. Drinks were good and fish was definitely plentiful! Onion rings and cheese curds had great flavor and even though I prefer yellow curds, I would order them again. Portion size is large, so sides are not necessary. We will be back. Great service!

So in Green Bay for work and I'm into going to places where locals go and Yelp isn't ranking top 10 places because those typically could be more upscale! I want the hole in the wall place that's been around forever but has a local crowd who are known by first names and those locals know the entire staff by first name! This place has been around since 1932 and today is open 3 days a week and not regular hours! The menu is one side of a page and not a ton of offerings which means what they do serve is kick butt! The fish fry of perch is absolutely ridiculously amazing! The portions are solid and the flavor of fresh lake perch is second to none! They offer them boned or no bone! They lightly battered them and get them up to perfection! You get some rye bread and for those who believe in traditional Danish style food you get raw onion on the rye bread! Service is outstanding and the staff are very engaging and welcomed this out of towner as one of their own! They shared he history of the place and that makes this place even cooler! Highly recommended and will absolutely be back! I've included some pictures of the place but you have to go to experience it! To see more pictures of this place and others go to Kam Finds Food page on Facebook and Instagram and join the foodie community! We want all you foodies to come join in our journey!

Best perch in Wisconsin hands down. Excellent cheese curds and onion rings. Perfect old fashioned. I have driven in blizzards to get here when I am in the area

Local! Yeah like totally local. Some of the best deep fried fish I've ever had. And right out of the 50's. Try the Perch with bone in. It's well worth the work. The staff will show you how to remove the bones.

The fish is good. Expensive but good. This is the locals go to spot, it's not a food place. They serve food on just a few days. This is a bar. The fish is about $20 for just fish no sides. With that being said. I probably go elsewhere for fish next time. Don't believe the hype. I'm giving it 3 stars for the friendliest bartenders. FYI. Friday's are packed and the menu has fried fish and shrimp. Nothing else all.

Really good fish fries, and a lot of finger food. But don't order the old fashions. They're pretty generic and fake.

Excellent perch! Al a cart for pretty much everything, so it's not cheap. It was very busy, but everything was handled well.

Amazing perch! You can get with bones or without bones. Definitely the best in Green Bay. They had a great drive thru system for COVID.

Our server was very friendly. She was attentive and was constantly on the move. Two at the table got NY strip, I got the pasta primavera and the fourth got the halibut. The salad bar that comes with the meals was a nice surprise. It had all salad toppings and also some great cracker spreads. The bread at the table was warm and crusty also. The steaks were great, tender and juicy. My pasta primavera was delicious. I did half marinara and half Alfredo for the sauce- so good. The fourth person liked their fish but did comment it could have used more seasoning. We did the butter pecan and grasshopper drinks after dinner and they were very good also. All in all, great dinner and we will be back

Food average at most. Overpriced for portions and taste. Drinks overpriced. Staff nice...the only positive. Got the prime rib which unfortunately was on the colder side. Outside view of river is "muuuh" as grounds not really kept. PS...if you ever kayak that river you'll see that their river retaining wall (sea wall) is collapsing so that'll be gone soon. Ambiance....I'd describe it as a feeling like this place will be closings in a couple years as a victim of its own supper club demise for failing to update to refresh an old dog. Sorry...maybe I am just missing something.

All were full and was told that if we were to dine outside our meals would come out faster, but I would have to come back inside to place orders. Took a picture of the menu, which other than what the protein was did not go into a description or what would come with the entree. Came back in with orders and was first told need card to put on hold then said, maybe just charge for entire ticket might work best. So that is what I did. The card machine also asks for the tip up front as well. Meals come out fried fish platter for two, which I was told was better deal for our two folks than ordering each separately really didn't come out any different then what they were getting if single order. Seabass was maybe 4 inches by 4 inches in size and the grits were not creamy like you would expect, but clumpy. Asparagus was thinner than a pencil and tasteless. My granddaughter's steak looked okay, but she had to cut it with a plastic fork and knife as none was provided for any of us and meals all came out on paper plates. Everyone except for the seabass order came with fries and we had to ask for ketchup and a squirt was added to the paper plates. No one came around to see how we were enjoying our meals or if we need any refills (husband had to go in and get a glass bottle of tap water for the table.) If the staff would have come around and checked on us they would have gotten an earful. I get now why they want you to pay ahead of time and not at the end of service because no one will becoming around to check on you and they want their money up front. I would not have tipped generously for what we were served and how we were not checked up upon. This place to the locals may be a gem, but to folks on vacation wanting a great meal and overall experience it was not. Over priced, lack of service from staff, not so great food and lack of indoor seating. If I could it would have been no stars.
