We clicked on Plant Lover to purchase 2 $20 entry tickets that advertised including 20% plant discounts, a tote, gloves, admission, readmission Sunday, We ended up with the Greenhouse Lover Admission both days & a $1 tote bag. FALSE ADVERTISING!! Very disappointed with your customer support pink booth and your website. No tiny homes to tour. Not enough outdoor patio/landscaping vendors. Not as good as last year. Too many duplicates of businesses. Not enough businesses who aren't trying to sign you up for something. I don't think we will be back. $10 a person to get in and it was extremely underwhelming. If you want a hot tub, exterior door, new shower or windows, or a "chance" to win something (for a hefty fee), go check it out. What a disappointment! read more

Vendor Experience Feedback - Home and Garden Show I am writing to provide a detailed account of our experience as a vendor at the recent Home and Garden Show. Event Access and Entry Issues On Wednesday and Thursday, we used a designated gate to bring in our items. However, on Friday that same gate was closed without notice. We proceeded to the next entrance and were redirected to another location, only to find that there was no accessible route to the assigned entrance. When we returned to the second entrance, the guard appeared irritated that they needed to let us in. This created unnecessary confusion and delays during setup. Climate Control Concerns The building's climate control was not functioning properly throughout the event. Excessive heat and humidity made the environment uncomfortable for both vendors and customers. It is unreasonable to expect people to shop or sell effectively under those conditions, and this issue should have been addressed promptly. Early Vendor Departure and Lack of Enforcement On closing day, vendors in our area began packing up and leaving as early as 3:00 PM. I reported this to the help desk, and was told that staff had been reminding vendors not to leave early and that guards were stationed to prevent early departures. No one ever came to our area to communicate this, and no staff intervened as vendors blocked walkways and dismantled large structures behind our booth. Empty booths and obstructed walkways negatively impact the customer experience and the professionalism of the event. The contract clearly states that customers should be able to shop until 5:00 PM, yet this was not upheld. As a result, we lost potential sales from customers who were still present and attempting to shop. This is the second time we have participated in a Home and Garden Show event, and both times we experienced the same issues. Load-Out Process After packing up, no staff member came by to provide a pass allowing us to bring our vehicle down for load-out. This added further inconvenience at the end of an already challenging event. Contract Compliance Concerns The purpose of the vendor contract is to ensure a smooth and professional event. When rules are not enforced and consequences are not applied, it encourages repeated noncompliance. Additionally, the Home and Garden Show did not fulfill its contractual obligation to provide a safe, accessible, and fully operational shopping environment through the advertised closing time of 5:00 PM. Given that these issues have occurred at both events we have attended, we have decided that we will not return as a vendor. Our experiences show that we cannot rely on the event rules or contract terms being upheld. read more

The vendors pay a hefty fee to have a small booth, the attendees pay $10.00 each per day attended and they can't keep the temperature reaso able inside, while advertising air-conditioned event. Those of you running those thing stop the greed and pay the cooling bill. Of this stadium can be cooled for the Cardinals games in August with thousands of fans you certainly could choose to do so for this show. read more

If you're a home gardener, a gadget guru, freebie fanatic, or someone with a soft spot for tiny homes, the Maricopa Home and Garden Show is your paradise! From the moment I walked in, it was sensory overload in the best way. Rows and rows of creative displays, dreamy home entertainment setups, and more freebies than I could carry--luckily, I did carry them because I left with three whole bags of swag! Tech, plant samples, mini tools--you name it. I went in with the intent to "just browse" (famous last words, right?) but walked out with equal parts inspiration and unplanned purchases. From quirky plants to spatial sound headphones, I couldn't resist. My favorite splurge? A bottle of craft Honey Bourbon I didn't even know I needed and AZ Lemonade for my little love bug (son). And let's talk about the tiny homes. They were like a Tiny Home Show come to life! Walking through the perfectly designed spaces was both inspiring and a little dangerous for my wallet (I may or may not have picked up a brochure for my next "project"). Ooh and the Stagecoach house is a Glamping must see! The vendors were super friendly and passionate, and the live demos were a highlight--who knew I'd be mesmerized by a guy sweeping the floor or peeling vegetables? Plus, the food court options (Fry Bread Tacos) kept me fueled for my swag-collecting spree. Pro Tip: go the last day for amazing deals from the vendors! My only complaint? I need more arms and a bigger car next time. If you love home improvement, gardening, good deals, and a touch of tiny living envy, do not skip this show! read more

Just attended the July 7- 13 2025 show at State Farm stadium, the first show we attended in a couple years. Entering required 'running the gauntlet', a couple hundred yard aisle with vendors on either side that were pretty agressive. Solar salesmen and artificial turf sellers were the most agressive - avoid eye contact and be ready with a firm no unless you are really interested. We were interested in one vendor in the gauntlet, but came back later in the day when there were less people and the pressure from vendors subsided. We did meet with another vendor that had a good product we were interested in, they had a great solution that didn't require a hard sell. It was a nice change from the others. The main area of the show was much better, less pressure and more relaxed. One vendor did was super agressive - even following us and others down the aisle with a hard sell. Solar reps were abundant (6+ booths from the same company) and always aggressive. Be ready to say no and keep moving. Overall we found two vendors that had what we needed and setup appointments. One of those was cancelled after researching them after the show due to a poor reputation online and complaints/actions by the AZ Registrar of Contractors. My tips - know what youre looking for, be ready to say no (assertively), and research vendors online and with the ROC after meeting at the show before committing to a contract. We found one company for a big job, and learned alot about that process from talking to other vendors at the show. For the $10 entry fee and $25 lunch (each) it will hopefully be worth it - and we'll be ready to go back in another couple years! read more

My wife and I have visited the Home Show at many different venues, however, the January venue of the fairgrounds has got to be the most disorganized and poorly thought out Home Show we have experienced. Both my wife and I are disabled so I usually walk while she uses a scooter. Had I studied the map ahead of time I would have seen that it was not a good idea for us to visit this show. There is no clear walking path from start to finish at the show in fact in order to wind up back at our car we had to backtrack through open parking lots or through the crowded buildings. There were several disappointments at this venue in particular mainly because of the disorganization. While the map indicated certain buildings were focused on certain types of exhibits, there were many other types of exhibits in intermingled with the focus exhibits. We were looking for specific vendors and the guide would have been helpful, but most booths did not display their booth number. This often left us wondering if we were even in the correct building. my disability limits my ability to walk for a long period of time so I need to sit down intermittently so I can continue on. I found that there was a significant lack of places for the public to sit in most of the buildings. What was listed as the food court in the map was actually just a group of food trucks located somewhat remotely from the rest of the show. The other thing that was evident was that there were multiple duplicate booths in different buildings for example, the same vendor would have a booth in building A and in building C. My wife and I agreed as we were trying to navigate the labyrinth to get to the exit that we would not visit the Home Show at this venue again in the future. The circuitous path that was required to exit the Home Show actually seemed like a sort of punishment. They literally had guards posted to block shortcuts to get back to the parking lot. Aside from the poor planning and execution by the Home Show organization, the exhibits and the exhibitors did a wonderful job of answering questions and making us feel welcome. It is a great opportunity to see the latest in Home renovation and remodeling ideas. We always find something new that makes the whole experience worthwhile. we can't wait to visit the shows at Westworld and State Farm Stadium in the coming months. read more

Absolutely love the home and garden show,,, always so much to do and to many interactive events....

Like taking one robo call after another whilest trying to enjoy yourself at an event. It's very sad the direction the Home Show has taken over the years. Very few private, individual vendors selling unique home crafted items or fun things. Now it's just a wash of heavy sales, multiple repetitive vendors or products all competing to take you away from moving through to the next booth space. So let's talk about the venue first. Each time, the venue and parking changes, so you never understand where the best parking is and the event lacks signage to direct you to the right entrance, parking is normally close to the ticket booths and entrance. This time, the venue decided to have customers who paid $10, park a long walk away at the Auction tent which means you have tons of cars navigating around tons of people trying to walk in the fenced parking lot all trying to funnel into the same exit towards the main venue entrance. Rules and security. There are signs and rules on the website about no dogs. Usually dogs are allowed at this venue. Yet nonservice dogs were clearly allowed in and that causes fights & chaos when they meet in the already overestimated busy show. Add in the additional multiple dog training companies who have unleashed animals and its quite entertaining. There is a reason true service dogs are professionally trained, they don't behave the same as pets. Clear backpacks. This used to be a show full of booths selling items which you could comfortably walk around the show carrying as long as you had a good enough backpack or bag. This time, there were the clear bag policies and no outside food and drink. This is clearly a moneterising tactic, clear bags and $6 waters were on sale. I did see some people were really upset at being turned away back to their cars. However, spending a few minutes waiting at security, it was clear that if you challenged the rule, security backed down. So plenty of people walked through security with backpacks, purses and woven shopping bags, all without searching. Some pro people had great idea, empty child strollers or carts with zipped compartments were whisked through security and unchecked. I myself, walked through security avoiding the metal detectors, due to medical device only to have the person not know what to do, no interest in what was in my pockets and let me through Back to the booths. It's become an unpleasant hard pressure sales event, 10s of solar sales, most by out of state lesser known companies spinning their stories about why you should buy. Water treatment booths by the dozen. A few demonstration booths which are fun to watch. This time around there were very few family, private small vendors selling unique products. One such vendor which I always spend money on, provided me a text receipt where we found duplicate charges, service fees. That was handled nicely, but you need to be aware. Also be aware on the vendors who don't price their items. Listen to their conversations about pricing to others before approaching. It really depends on who you speak to and what they feel like charging you. Something else to be informed about is anyone who has issues walking down stairs and wants to visit the crafting demonstrations, classes or see the VIP guests. All these areas are a walk down onto the arena floor through the seating steps and gates. I spent more time trying to fend off in-my-face sales people from trying to hard pressure selling solar that it became a game of trying to figure out which tale to say to make them go away? Own, rent, live in RV, already got Solar.... most of the sales people were trained with conversation to combat answers. In the end, ignoring seemed best.. read more

Such great choices for nearly everything you might need for your home, and all with "home show discounts." In past years we've bought storage racks for the garage, items for our kitchen, and arranged for a complete re-do of our 20+ year old windows. read more

So much fun! How did I not know about this event before? They do a few a year! So many free goodies! And new companies to try out! They have everything you could need from a new front door to a pillow to some essential oils! Tip: take advantage of the free take home crafts! There's a daily schedule that tells you the craft and the time. I got to take home a free fire bowl that I painted all myself! I really wanted to do the wreath making, too! read more

I have been going to the Home Shows since I was a kid and always loved all the cool stuff people build at the show. Now that I'm older with a Home of my own, it's been magical getting to talk to all the different vendors who are at the show to help me improve my house. I needed a new front door and was able to talk to a bunch of different companies all in a single day getting quotes from each and it just made the whole process so much easier then trying to google companies and waiting for a response. Even when I'm not looking to get a home improvement project done, I just go for fun with my husband because there are so many different ideas I can get just by looking around and we even sit in on the seminars where I learned gardening tips!! It's such a cool event and I make sure to go every time! read more

This was at westworld this weekend and this was my first time attending a maricopa county home and garden show I believe. There were lots of vendors but many of them were selling the same kind of stuff. Very expensive products but that's fine! Fun to walk around and not too overly busy, but didn't get anything. read more

While we did get a couple of good leads from the show, the consistent pushiness of the booth sales people was quite annoying. We could not walk anywhere without someone constantly barking sales pitches at us for windows, solar, flooring, you name it. Do you want new windows, No, tell me more, how old is your house? You all get the point. I feel like I paid to go to a cheap sales convention. No good. To be fair, not all booths did that, but far too many did and we left as quickly as we could once we accomplished our tasks. Will not return. Ever. read more

There were some very nice flower displays. A LOT of home improvement vendors. Had to pay to park, which was ridiculous, $10. Parking was entirely disorganized., nobody directing traffic, people driving down and having to turn around and come back. No clear direction to the entry. Long walk from parking. Extremely long line to get in standing unprotected in the sun. Unbelievably, you can't buy tickets on line. You must stand in the sun roasting and thirsty with no water available for purchase while waiting in line outside. Extremely dangerous for elderly and children. I personally wouldn't bring them. If you decide to come bring water, sunblock, and an umbrella. read more

Rhis is the best of the best Home Show in the State. Being an Arizona native...the venues and environment...including learning process for the whole family is awesome! Plenty of free parking and a shuttle and modes of getting around the Show for those with disabilities.
