And prices are fair, with weekly sales that are very amazing. The store is clean, but I have to admit, there was a weird smell all through the store. Not sure what that was, but that kept me from giving 5 stars. Service was great. Cashier was very friendly and efficient!

I've tried Marianno's, Jewel, Heinen's.....but I forgot about Trader Joes. Not anymore. Today I bought organic peanut butter, organic tortilla chips, organic chicken broth, frozen gnocchi and a frozen mandarin orange dinner in freezer, fresh sage, 2 lbs of organic onions, 1lb bags of ready to eat baby carrots, and a chicken and cheddar sandwich on cranberry bread. Total bill? $32.00 plus they packed me in their bags. No problem with people to check you out. They have plenty of staff

Here are some of things that are usually on the shopping list: * dried rice noodles (for pho and noodle soups) * sauces or seasonings (hot pot broth packets, xo sauce, chicken bouillon, pho soup powder, bun bo hue soup powder, pho spices, chinese cooking wine, dashi, fried garlic, fried onion, etc.) * produce (bok choy, pea shoots) * tofu * baked goods (bbq pork buns, hot dog buns) * frozen items (dumplings, udon) I re-stock on items that I wouldn't be able to easily access to the grocery stores closer to me. It's definitely an out-of-the-way grocery trip for me, but the Park to Shop Aurora location is much closer than say, driving the Chinatown for Asian groceries. I am glad I can get what I need here, the prices are average/accessible, and there are so many options to eat Pacifica Square so it's fun to make a little trip out of it. My order usually is 1) eat something delicious in the food court or right around Pacifica Square, then 2) walk off the food by grocery shopping. Be sure to peruse the sauce aisle! That's my favorite.

However, Ivanna at the deli counter is by far the best I have encountered since the store opened. I believe that employees should be recognized for exceptional service when it is deserved. Ivanna always greets customers with a smile and is eager to assist them. I hope management acknowledges her efforts and recognizes her outstanding service. Great employees are hard to find and retain. Rosa in the bakery department is unfortunately at the other end of the spectrum. Rosa is so rude and unhelpful that my wife avoids the bakery department completely! I, on the other hand, will not let one rude and unprofessional employee keep me from any department in that store. I have asked Rosa time and time again for assistance in getting fresh bread, only to be told that there is none available to bake (even though I can see there is in the background) or that they first have to sell what is in the baskets. Both are incorrect answers to a customer. I run my own business, and my employees know that the customer is always right. I only hope that management corrects this problem promptly, because one toxic employee can ruin the rest of the team.

Yelp just reminded me of that review, saying they were showcasing it for people searching. I didn't even remember the review. In any case that was 10 years ago. Nice people. And the moral of the story is if you see a bad review look how old it is before you judge..... someone could have forgotten about it. Go to Casey's. Buy some meat. You will be happy.

These are big time $$$ differences and they add up. Watch out! As a consumer they should honor their mistakes. They said I should read. Today, I didn't bring my readers, sorry. But when you see 10 items on the shelf above the $9.99 sign, you would automatically think okay, it's $9.99, but at the register it's $12.99. I snapped a picture to prove that there were more than one box above the price. (I could have clapped back and said then your workers should read and be able to put things on the right shelf). Produce that's rotten is sold so make sure you are opening up boxes and packages. Wish I took pictures of the rotting produce. At least I didn't buy those. Saw my receipt that they charged $1.29/lb for my Korean radish which should have been 79 cents. UGH! Guys, pay attention to how they are ringing you up. Two transactions in a row with multiple mistakes. I asked to talk with the manager. The female worker said she is not here and will come at 12noon. Then said actually will come tomorrow. Went to the Customer Service desk and the guy there said the manager is in the bathroom. Both workers started to talk to each other in Spanish. The female worker telling him, tell her the manager is not coming back until tomorrow. I told them I can speak Spanish and I understood everything they said. They got quiet very quickly. As a consumer, I am warning everyone watch the registers and the quality of your food. H-Mart Naperville...DO BETTER!
