We enjoyed a leisurely lunch after arriving in Paris from an overnight flight from Toronto. Our server was friendly and polite. We ordered a few dishes to share, including a smoked salmon toast and charcuterie board. I opted for the vegan Thai salad, so did one of my colleagues and the other grabbed a burger et frites. All of the bites I tried were very tasty. Living in Canada where smoking is banned pretty much everywhere in public spaces, it was very odd to be eating to see another patron nonchalantly light up in the covered patio. Of course, this is totally ok/normal in Paris, was just very surprising to this foreigner and perhaps something to consider should cigarette smoke bother you. I would return again someday but may not opt to sit on the patio if it is still enclosed.

Service: Good service, nice waiters/waitresses, busy Food: The deviled eggs were the BEST I've ever had (we had to come back again for them). The place is small, super cute and everyone is tightly packed in but still comfortable. It's a fabulous restaurant. We waited with a drink at the bar for about 10min before we were seated. Our table was in the corner and have a great view of the space. We ordered several dishes from the menu as well as some wine, which was a very good Montepulciano. We had probably one of the most delicious and spectacular Italian meals in a long time. The food was outstanding, the service excellent and the ambience was perfect. My son is not a cheese fan so he opted for the norvigene (smoked salmon in dill lemon and EVOO. I decided to stick with the house specialty; Landais Au Gratin (cream potatoes, duck breast and emmental cheese). The 2 German girls beside me ordered a cider with both their meals so I followed their lead. When in Paris...... Considering the temperature, I almost second-guess myself and ordered something other than their house specialty of au gratin potatoes. In the end, I was very glad I overruled that thought. Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival.
