I had the pleasure of going to Peonies during one of my trips to Paris and it is a quaint little café on a rather busy street. I ordered the avocado toast, the pink matcha and a slice of carrot cake. I wasn't the biggest fan of the avocado toast or maybe I've just had better. The carrot cake was the star for me. I've noticed that France is pretty big on carrot cake so I've had about a dozen cakes from different places. The matcha here was just okay. All in all the presentation was better than the food itself. It's worth going to if you're in the area but definitely not somewhere I'd frequent or crave. read more

Okay I'm OBSESSED with this place. I love that it's called Peonies (my favorite flower) and they sell flowers! They'll have peonies in the spring/summer time. The decor in here is absolutely daring and the open space is really inviting. Most coffee shops in Paris are crammed into small dark spaces. So the large windows and bright green tile is lovely. The decor in here is absolutely adorable (see pictures) and it smells heavenly because of the flowers. I usually get a latte here which is very good and usually a little treat. They also offer mint water for free which is a nice little gesture. They switch out their bakery items regularly. I ordered a cookie with flowers on it, it was so yummy and like no other cookie I've tried. It's not overly crowded in here yet, which is also nice. So many coffee shops here have so many people so I'm glad I've found this cute little gem. If you're in the 10th check this place out! read more

Literally the cutest little cafe tucked into an unexpected neighborhood. Workers were all very kind and the overall ambiance is to die for. Pink matcha latte was delish, not too sweet. Pancakes were dense but paired with fresh whip and amazing fruit, it was to die for. Would definitely come back. read more

I found this cute little cafe/ flower shop while browsing on the internet. The guy at the counter was very nice and i had the most scrumptious avocado toast ever (and ive had a lot trust me). The place is not too big but thats its charm. Im only giving it 4 stars because of the location its metro chateau d'eau not far from barbes and they literally harass you in the streets to come get your hair and nails done that really gave me anxiety. read more

Really cute place! The seats are a bit of a tight squeeze but the vibe is still cute. Love the concept of a coffee shop and flower store but was a tad bit confused on how to purchase the flowers and there didn't seem to be a large variety, maybe it's not the season yet. But delicious green pancakes and the fresh fruit was great. The cream with matcha that they give you was yum as well. Cute stop for food while in Paris. Order at the counter! Visited this café while on holiday with my sister last week in Paris. Not only is the place cute it is so delicious also!!! . I had a grilled cheese and my sister had the avocado toast with cacao , we both loved our food. Also had a matcha cake with coconut frosting , it was so flavorful as well. Portions are great to make it your main meal in the day , we were really satisfied. Customer service is excellent, English spoken , really clean and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Both the matcha and coffee were excellent , they offer almond and soy milk . The prices were low as well . I took an extra matcha to go because it was so so so good . I can't say enough good things about this place, loved it. Forgot to add we are both vegetarians and we were so happy to find this place ! read more
