Walked in and there were three employees, one on the phone who didn't even look up when I walked by, no one responded to my friendly bonjour, the two others didn't look that busy but didn't acknowledge me as I walked around and looked at prepared items, potted items, or cut flowers. Staying polite, I said au revoir, no response. I went to other stores and received great service so it's not as if I was looking skeevy! All I can assume is that they are just unfriendly. So no business from me! They certainly didn't seem to want it.

After selecting a bouquet, the florist encouraged us to reconsider as, "that particular bouquet [wouldn't] last much longer." Her honesty floored us (we ARE Americans, after all!!). It was one of my most memorable service interactions during my two weeks there. We settled on a beautiful, pale pink bouquet of ranunculas and clear glass vase.
