On the day of the wedding we wanted to change a few things. DJs these days have access to every song ever made due to the internet. They either didn't have it or couldn't find it. The timeline wasn't follows at all. First dances, father/daughter dad and Stepmother/ daughters, toast, etc. we had to tell them when even though they had a written timeline. The worst of all was that they constantly advertised their service. Not very classy at a wedding.

When we called to find out their progress we were told that he sold one of the instruments. We asked why he didn't call us he said I lost your number. He told us the amount he got for the instrument and we were shocked at how low it was. He never called and told us he had a buyer and the amount he was offered for it. When we called him, he was very indignant on the phone and hung up on us. We went to the store to get the money he had for the one instrument and pick up the other two. When we got there we were able to locate one of the instruments. Upon asking about the other he at first could not remember where it was. Then said oh ya I sold it. But didn't remember the amount or who he sold it to. He gave us what he thought he got for the two instruments. When I told him I was going to put something on Yelp he told me if I did he would come to my house. So remember get something in writing before you do business with MeKeels.

With the restrictions at the time we had about half of our original guest list attend our wedding but Scott and his music warmed up the room and was the absolute perfect touch that we were looking for. One of my favorite moments from our wedding day was when my new husband and I stood alone on the balcony, looking down at our guests and during cocktail hour. I felt like my husband and I were floating in this perfect bubble and Scott's jazz trio will forever be the backdrop in this memory. For instance, my mother was insistent that dinner was not a time to be dancing and guests should be able to hear each other from across the table. Mindful of this, Jimmy used the time to play non-dancing music from some of our favorite bands at a lower level than normal.
