Choice Music ROCKS!!!…read more We used Choice Music for our wedding because of high recommendations from two other friends who had used them at their wedding. TONY was the absolute BEST! He met with us to get an idea of music we wanted played and how we wanted things to go. He took his time, listened, never rushed or pressured us into anything.... Totally worked with us and was very personable in it all. He amplified our ceremony then at a different location for our reception had everything set and ready. Announced all the bridal party, even plated my groom and my food! WOW! How awesome was that. All around great company, great DJ. Played great music and kept things rolling how they should. Fully recommend choice Music and Tony to YOU, FAMILY, and FRIENDS! You won't be disappointed! GO WITH THEM! :)

Stay Away!!!! We hired Kurt for our wedding based on the recomendation of our coordinator. I have…read moreto say that all of the other recomendations were good ones. He was the only one out of all the vendors that we did not appreciate. First of all, we spent a great deal of time filling out information about our big day. This was a good step, as it looked like he would be prepared. Not the case... He called me 3 hours before the wedding asking critical questions that could have been answered months before as the information was given. Did not help. He had absolutely no feel for our style or music choices. During dinner, he played some of our choices (DAve Matthews, Jack Johnson, Mother hips, etc., etc.) and then when the list ran out, he played an 80's Foriegner song. The genre was way off... I would think you could have a better understanding of music as a DJ. When introducing the wedding party a couple of the names were fouled up as well... WTF. For our first dance, clear instructions were given when to start the music. No, he started it way in advance. My wife had to run up to him and tell him to start over.... WTF... For our dance music, the party was pumping and he then played a song that killed the dancing. WTF... Totally oblivious to any of the above, he was unprepared and no where near in touch with me and my bride on this special day. Too bad he wasn't like all of the other great Vendors we had that day.

Definitely stay away from this vendor if your event is outside of: San Jose, Gilroy, Morgan Hill,…read moreand Hollister. We contacted Pop Picture Studios as a recommended vendor from our wedding coordinator. We looked at their website and their prices and equipment looked very affordable and great: photo booth quoted at $660 for 4 hours. After we contacted them and said our wedding is in San Francisco we were quoted: $1375 for 4 hours (more than double their price). When we asked why the quoted price was so different then advertised on their website, Anthony responded saying that there are things to consider like: "Risk of theft, travel distance and time, parking fees and parking logistics, building logistics, booth attendant count". I completely understand if there's additional travel and parking costs, we are happy to get an itemized quote for that service but there's no way that would amount to more than double their original cost for "local events". Overall I thought Anthony's response was unprofessional and his services are falsely advertised.

I had DJ Joey dj my wedding and could not have been more disappointed…read more For starters I should have known to verify things after he tried to tell us there was no "clean" version of our grand entrance song and we may want to change it. I was pretty set on this song so I researched for myself and was able to find the clean version on 3 different platforms in about 60 seconds. Another thing is that I have never heard of a DJ who doesn't take requests... I guess we are supposed to know every song our guests are going to want to listen to beforehand. He was unable to take a request for a song that a lot of our guests wanted to hear. The biggest problem of the night was that he played the wrong song for my father daughter dance. We put the very title of the song and what version on the document we shared with him and even had a meeting to go over all of it. If there were ever any doubts he should have reached out to confirm he had the right song and clarify. I really hope this isn't a thing that has happened to a lot of couples he's DJ'd for because it absolutely ruined the moment. That was one of the moments I was looking forward to most because the song had a lot of meaning being that it was my stepfather I was dancing with. He seemed to be more worried about other things like asking us and all of our vendors if we would have an umbrella for him at ceremony even after we already told him we would take care of it. He also kept saying how he would be like "our second wedding planner" and tried to interject himself into things that did not pertain to him. He should probably focus more on making sure he does the DJ part right. Overall I was very disappointed with the experience and would not recommend him. He didn't even have the curtesy to apologize to me after my husband let him know he played the wrong song.
